My first bottle of Archoil diesel fuel treatment increased my mileage by over 1mpg and my regen frequency is way down Today I drove 254 miles towing my 35 foot fifth wheel trailer the regen notification light didn’t come on at all, thats a first! I had my doubts about this product and all the hype surrounding it but let me tell ya it’s my go to product for my 2016 F350 6.7 super duty with 86 thousand on the clock. Thank you AROD.
I'll definitely be running this in my F350. I've been reading about several that have started using this in their 19+ Cummins. It has helped majorly with frequent regens.
Been using EDT for years after seeing the results on Project Farm. Archoil was not included, but my overall concern IS lubricity. I do not like the comparisons Archoil uses as they are at different magnifications, with no reference. They need to fix this in their advertisement. I did notice, this being a new truck, that the two tanks where I used EDT the MPG was up by 1 MPG, the last tank, I ran out and it is down 1 MPG. I may give Archoil a try and see how much difference there is between the two. My 24 regens so sporadically and quickly that I have only noticed 1 full regen in 3300 miles.
Started using it in my 05 6.0, and what a huge difference for stiction! Now that I have a 6.7 I'm using it all for my 6.7 to help with the exhaust system clean. Great product!
I've been using it since I got my truck back in April. Had a mechanic tell me when I got my dpk on that running it is essential to helping keep the cp4 from going bad. He stated that most of the issue with them are due to the lack of lube in the fuel and praised me for using this product. 122k on the truck, I would do the DCR, but I didn't have the extra funds. The DPK was my best option so I could keep feeding the family lol. Love your videos!
Hello 👋 yes. The stuff works. Been using in my diesel since 18 Tried others But a was not impressed. But archoil For the fuel 😃. Good stuff. Less regen for shure. Better fuel mileage. I also use the 9100 in my engine 6.7. It’s very quiet now. Change ever 5000 m I be also use 9100 in our 5.7 hemi Just a couple of oz. No hemi tick. It now has 198000 and runs great. I buy the 9100 by the gallon. Save money. I use it in all the tractors too. Have a great weekend. Jeff. SC.
Got my 19 with 46k miles, now has 57k. Only used about 7.5 gallons of def in 10k miles. Goes for about 600-700 miles before regen. I use archoil 6500 since day 1 every fill up. I even put archoil in my tractor, it’s good stuff!
Recently switched to Archoil. Towing my 5th wheel trailer, currently over 800 miles since last regen, with the trucks DPF gauge showing 40%. Huge improvement.
I've used both HSS EDT w/LX4 and Archoil. I never really paid attention to the way my truck drives as far as throttle response, mpg, and regens. I have a Honda Accord for mpgs and such. What I did notice in throttle response was putting on S&B cold and hot side pipes. That woke up the truck a little coupled with my S&B CAI. I stuck with HSS because that is my preference for my fuel lubricity. I tow pretty heavy several times a year so my dpf gets a good cleaning going up those long 6% grades. I would say they're both good products. As long as you're putting something in your fuel, you're doing alright.
i've had some archoil sitting here since winter and am finally done with my bottle of power service. gonna give this stuff a shot literally on my next fillup!
Im new to diesels. Bought my 7.3 powerstroke over year ago. Was using HotShots. Ordered me some new juice. Installed new high pressure HPOP for preventative maintenance
I started using the 6500 fuel treatment about six months ago after watching one of your videos. My truck has better gas mileage, and the get up and go when I press the gas pedal is wonderful. Thanks for all you do!
I started using Archoil In my 2018 Alumiduty in May 2024, after having used Hotshot for years. Hotshot never let me down, never a problem with water in the fuel and performance was okay. But with the second tank of fuel using Archoil, I noticed a difference in throttle response and fuel mileage; about 1.3 - 1.5 mpg better to date. I haven’t kept track of my DEF usage so I can’t address it. Thanks, PTT!
I use the Archoil Diesel Additive and Hot Shot's LX4 lube for the CP4. I also use the Archoil AR9100 in the oil. The AR9100 I also use it in my '84 Cadillac Seville, Eldorado Biarritz and Fleetwood. All 3 have the HT4100 and the cam lobes for the lifters is known to wear. I watched a Jay Leno vid on AR9100 several years ago and I started using it shortly after.
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod yeah I only saw noticeable improvements with Archoil. Less often regens and increased mpg’s. Didn’t notice anything with other companies. They also have a winter version for those that experience winter ❄️ lol
2011 6.7 F350 SWR 260k miles. Just started using this Used the fuel system cleaner and my DPF mass reported on my SCT Livewire has dropped dramatically. Never seen it lower the 1.8, after 2 treatments its been down to .75 at it lowest. Before the high was 2.5, now highest I've seen has been 1.6. Ive been using the regular fuel treatment every tank since. Seeing 1 more mpg avg, I drive 85 unloaded all the time.
Good day Just ordered some of this product. I will be trying it in my 2022 F-250 6.7 My friend is trying another brand 🇺🇸. Thanks for the discount code
Old news but good news, I've been using this stuff for years like clock work, there is a differences on your DPF regen's for sure, use it nothing to loose and everything to gain. Great stuff, I've used these products sense the 7.3 and the 6.0 days, Bill Hewitt turned me on to this product years ago, no regrets using it.
Isn’t the dpf programmed to regenerate after a certain amount of miles regardless of the soot percentage. So how would archoil fuel treatment change that ?
@user-nt7fz8qs1s watch my video talking about the different types of regen, you then will connect the dots. I can't explain that all through the commentI can't explain that all through the comment section pal
I have always been skeptical about additives, I figured I would give them a try, just ordered the Ultimate kit. Will try the oil additive in my 7.3 and the fuel cleaner/treatment in my 6.7.
I was using Schaeffers forever until I couldn't really find it in the gallon size anymore. I HARDLY ever regen'd. I recently switched to Hot Shots EDT, heard good things about it, and gonna give the gallon I have a try. Might have to try the Archoil in the future.
@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod Old Bill Hewitt is smiling down from above! I've been running Archoil for years. I currently run it in my 6.7 PSD and my wife's VW 2.0 TDI. Good stuff man!
Years ago I had a 7.3 now I have a 2020 6.7. I used atf in the fuel of the 7.3 to keep things clean and lubed. Asking your opinion for this 6.7. I just learned about archoil. Thanks
Can you use both fuel products at the same time, or does it need to be at different intervals? I understand that the injector cleaner should be used twice a year.
What about lubrication? The CP4 is our time-bomb as you are well aware. I run OptiLube XL for this reason (at almost 200k miles now) and Hotshots EDT when I cannot get XL. Hotshots EDT also cleans injectors, but perhaps not as much. For those of us still stock due to the cost of a DCR, what would you run? XL for lubricity or Archoil?
Archoil or Hotchots for fuel treatment, as long as you use one it's all good. When I finish my Hotchots I will probably try the Archoil. I defer to Lake Speed jr(the oil geek) when it comes to oil additives though and just say no.
Im an RV transporter. I have a 2019 F250 with 274k miles. I drive about 10k miles a month about half towing 12k fifth wheels the other half driving 75 mph down interstates. When i started i researched and i use the following additives. Ford cetane booster every tank, lucas injector cleaner every other tank, and Lucas diesel deep clean monthly. I get about 19mpg on the highway and regen consistently every 500 miles. Would i see longer regen cycles with Archoil? The only money I've had to spend on this truck is changing the Particulate Matter Sensor, so basically trouble free. Oil changes and fuel filter changes, of course. I'm having a hard time thinking of changing what's working.
@@Toddstjohn You won't see over 500 miles between regens unless you have the auto regen function turned off. This has to be done with Forscan. @PowerStrokeTechTalkwArod remoted in to my truck and did this for me. Talk to him about doing this for you.
So Oil treatment on a 6.7, 1. Is there a benefit to using 9100 on a 6.7? 2. What is the benefit of using it on 6.7? 3. Would you use 9100 or Hotshot FR3 on 6.7?
