But I used the gas treatment twice and my gas mileage has gotten worse each time. Also a loss of power on 2007 4Runner.

I bought a car from a friend who had problems with the car, he had it back at the dealer several times but they couldn't fix it so they gave him a great deal on another car. The car was only a couple of years old and had low miles, almost all highway miles. I only paid a few hundred bucks for it. The dealer first replaced the computer, distributer and eventually the top end but it spit sputtered and died sometimes, especially when you were in a hurry. I went to pick it up with a friend as I was driving it home, I had the hood up and asked my friend to start it, when he did I noticed the distributer turned, I let it idle, grabbed a ten mm wrench and tightened it down, never had another issue with the car, tires, air filters and oil change was the only thing I did too it for the next four or five years, finally sold it when the CV joints started making noise, for a huge profit. Right time, right place I guess.

@scottykilmer - In newer Subarus, the centre-top display has a configurable "favourites" screen where you can put both water and oil temperature gauges. The water one is just basic - Cold/Normal/Hot, the oil one is exact. Problem with that though is it's only useful if you have that particular gauge display up. There are only two mechanical gauges left in mine - speedo and tach, everything else is digital and on a screen. Would be nice if that had an option for exact water temperature always up on the gauge screen somewhere.

High Scotty love your vids, I'm having a problem with 2004 Honda Pilot it is high miles 300K but runs out great and trans works good when it shifts most of the time, but some times I put it in drive and it's like neutral I drop into L1 or L2 and it will take off and i shift it manually it goes good but drive it around some and the next stop I make it's like it falls out of gear repeat the manual shift and its fine, I have replaced the dual trans solenoid four time from Ebay parts it would work for a short time wk or two and go back to the same problem so I was told only OEM new from Honda would work so I shelled out the $600.00 it lasted about a month and now same old deal, now I do have a code that comes on again sporadic that is VTM-4, and eng ck symbol but the don't stay on I replaced the sending unit for that didn't change anything. But I or my wife still drive it daily it is a good little car would love to save it .Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Injectors, filters, 02 sensors, plugs, coils, cleaned mass air sensor, and checked for vacuum leaks. Now only 1 bank is running lean. I've tried fuel cleaners, change the oil every 3k, etc. What else can it be???

I have a 2004 Mitsubishi, and I had a similar problem with stalling randomly at lights or first starts. I tried additives and even had new coils installed on account of oil leaking from the rocker cover. Still stalled after that. So, I turned off the stereo. Stalling stopped! I had a new head unit fitted when I bought the car, fitted by an auto electrician. So I can only guess maybe it's drawing on the battery or the speakers don't match with it. Has anyone heard of this before?

Hi, I have that particular car (although not the pheV) and Idle is high, around 1500 RPM when cold... Then comes back to normal when warm. Also, fuel consumption gauge tells me it's consuming lots of gasoline everytime it's not moving.
    Seems like a bad sensor?

Agree: that mileage estimator should have been a temp gauge. I suppose an electronics tech could repurpose that with a sensor and an amp to match sweep range requirements. Put a dummy load on the computer or module output so the program stays happy and Bob's your uncle.
