Neighborhood garage sale! They come two ways - BINGO or "why did I bother?" They're always great the first year the sale pops off, but often the good stuff all comes out that year and just cwap after that. I've also hit whole-neighborhood sales and only bought stuff at three houses. Once only one house - but that one house was a literal gold mine. The worst was a "whole street" sale that turned out to be all modern kid junk. Got up before 6AM and got there early for the deals and spent $00.00. There was zero. The sales really haven't started here yet; it's usually after Mother's Day.
honestly thats why ive never really gone to garage sales. Why would i get up at the ass crack of dawn just to maybe score a couple items or nothing... plus gas? Just doesnt seem time efficient for me. Id rather just buy stuff off facebook and in bulk from people, or goodwill outlet.
Subdivision garage sale in Michigan are starting next week. They all seem to be in May and June and then nothing............

I went to 30 or so sales today and about 20 yesterday. Very slim pickings. I bought more for myself than I did to sell.

In my case, there was only one. If the pair was there, it doesn’t make sense to just buy one.

You have good luck with garage sales for the most part. Our area doesn't have very many garage sales
I have terrible luck putting on and finding anything at garage sales. In June or July I'm gonna have a "Christmas in July" sale selling a massive Christmas decoration lot I got for two bucks each mostly with the exception of larger items for ten or fifteen.
I’m fairly certain that those breg polar cubes can’t be sold on ebay bc its medical. I got one before. Sold it as untested on mercari for like 27 last month.
They get all that $5 stuff at the local casinos. I think it's rewards they collect for gambling.

Nobody is going to a garage sale to spend $500 on a very specific type of headlight. You price for your market.
If you ever see them, there are showroom BMW model di-cast cars. They have gray boxes with car in an acrylic case with small windows in front of the box. They're worth 150-300 each. I wish I could find more than the two I got for five each last month.
Pet peeve: when "pickers" come to a garage sale and complain they can't resell it because your asking price is the same as theirs.
