What's the difference between 120w and 480w other than the obvious? Is one brighter than the other? Does that just mean it has more lights? Do I need to upgrade anything on the truck for a higher watt bar?
Is it a true 480 watt led or is the 480 if it was incandescent? So it’s actually like 48-50 watts ? Also what fuse did you use ? At 480/12 I would think you would need like a 40 amp not 15 amp
When the red light is on the switch and light bar is not on is that normal? Just don’t want it draining my battery. Red light is on when vehicle is off.
Not yet, I literally just picked up my truck from the body shop. Had fender flares put on. I will do an update video once i get chance to try them out.
Has anyone figured out how to disable the modes? I'm figuring there's an IC chip on the board that creates all the strobe modes, and someone just HAS to know if it can be disabled with a simple jumper wire, so the 3 wires can supply power independently to the two colors. right now as configured, the yellow wire works as a signal to toggle thru all the modes.
It still works fine, but honestly I'm going to look for a bigger brighter one to install on my truck. Probably a 32" or so, just so it fits between my tow hooks.
@Temptation_Offroad thanks 4 reply. I don't have the combo, but I'm running 2, 7" amber, 2, 22" triples and 22" single amber, on my roof rack. With 6 gang bush button. I noticed after 8 months some discoloration on them, replaced some and not as bright when new. I just ordered a 22" triple amber to add to new brush guard, I was in heavy fog and what I had wasn't enough. I'm thinking because it's up high on roof rack was part of my issue. My 2 triple white, are plenty bright, but amber wasn't enough with that I had. I may end up going to 32" in the future aswell. I don't off road. Just night driving in Wisconsin, curvy, various turns at various speed rating in bfe.
@@ryanjohnson1814 Same, im in MN and just need it for spotting deer before i hit them Lol, that and in snowstorms. The amber on this one isnt bright enough to be viable. Thats why im going to look for a bigger straight white or combo white/amber... Havent decided yet but it will be a summer project anyway.
Great job. Very informative. Thank you.

I’m not patient enough w the firewall. I’d just drill a hole and silicone it. 😉

Have you been able to try the light out in a snow storm yet?

U need to go and get the amber and white light bar that every led chip has both colors so the amber is brighter
Yeah that and also get a longer light bar as well.
@@Temptation_Offroad the amber and white ones r mainly 23 inch or smaller he would need a white or amber for longer
@@RCman9291 AH ok
@@Temptation_Offroad iv been trying to find a 28 inch one and couldnt so i just got a 28 inch white one
Where did you get those brackets? The ones in the kit will not work on my ram.

Hi, thanks for the offer but I will have to pass on that for now. It looks like a nice product thought. Thanks for writing!

Show me in snow or fog.
if that was true 480 watt it would completely wash out those or any headlights
