Its this kind of reinforcement that keeps him trying to be funny.. hes a good guitar player but the dumb faces and bad attempts at comedy make it hard to get through a video.. Smh I swear all of you fools born in the late 90s and on are so weird and not in the good way.. in the way like, "we think things that arent funny at all are funny and things that are funny we dont get." Gen Z is by far the worst generation to ever exist.. and I thought us Millenials were bad..

I remember when the first time I learn sweep picking I almost give up and I think that I'm the only person who can't sweep pick. So I struggled and only less than 3 month, I feel like a professional player HAHA. So what I'm gonna say here is, that all people can reach the highest level of sweep picking technique as long as we practice, practice and practice.

Finally I made it, 230 BPM is the speed Stevie T plays it at the end of the video. To reach that BPM, I had to use Metronome all the time, from 80BPM to 230BPM, increasing 5 BPM step by step. Good luck everyone!!!!!

I have to say, I have been playing guitar for a while now and I've gotten pretty good but for whatever reason sweep picking has always been an illusive ghost of a skill for me to acquire. The way that you presented with learning within a song format, keeping it light, and the actual 3 string patterns you chose were absolutely perfect. I feel as if the patterns ranging from the typical triad forms, to the more stretched out forms, and finally the forms where you have to "worm" a single finger through and learn how to mute while doing so I feel sets up the learner extremely well. The forms and skills taught in this video I feel will set me up well for when I evolve into 4,5, and 6 string sweeps. I do hope you place a more advanced skill sweep pattern at some point. For now though, thanks for this one.

Seriously thank you for this, I thought I could never do something like that, but now after the entire day of practice I'm getting a pretty good hang of it, and people, GET PAST THE FRUSTRATION, seriously once I got to the point that I could do it at a medium slow speed, it is actually incredibly fun to play. Thank you steve

Stevie T thank you for your camera angles it helped me a lot. Other guitarists on UA-cam don’t even do the top down perspective, due to that I learned the basics of sweeping. Have you ever decided to teach guitar like on skype or something like? I know you put on a lot of work into this videos which I appreciate and teaching guitar will add more responsibility.

You should make a video about dropping a guitar pick and then having to look for it, or a guitar pick falling into an acoustic guitar then having to shake it out, since your videos are humor based. Something that all guitarists have painfully experienced lol.
