🍊- Kiehl’s 12.5% Vitamin C + Hyaluronic Acid is my current serum. I pair that with their Ferulic Acid Brew. I also get Vitamin C from my favorite moisturizer- Volition’s Neroli Complex Crème with Vitamin C and Vegan Collagen. And I have the matching eye cream to go with the moisturizer. I don’t use my serum as much as I should though. This video will help remind me to do it more often. Now to find some Urea to add to the mix!

I'm quite pleased with Vegreen ampule 14%ascorbic acid and 8% ethyl ascorbyl ether and Stratia C+C serum with 15% ascorbic acid paired with CoQ 10.

🍊 I like the Maelove Glow Maker vitamin C. It’s similar to the very expensive Skin Ceuticals vitamin C, but for around $30. Maelove also makes the vitamin C when you place your order so to maintain its freshness as long as possible. Vitamin C and azelaic acid 15% I get from my dermatologist are 2 star ingredients that will always be in my skincare routine due to my hyperpigmentation and melasma. When I use these, I definitely notice a lightening and brightening of my skin tone.

🍊X I like using vitamin C but haven’t settled on a favorite yet. I have a sample bottle of Medik8 and I love it! It has a light citrus scent. BUT, it’s expensive. I really like Vegreen. Least faves are Timeless and Allies of Skin. I know they are nice vitamin c’s, but I just can’t handle the hot dog water scent. Going to try G&G next!

C glow is awesome, goes on way better than the l'oréal I was using. Plus it's clear with zero smell. The l'oréal turned orange and smelt awful. Hot dog water smell. Keep the c glow in the fridge. Thanks for the recommendation Rob.

I am a little confused about a pairing you spoke of so for clarification-can I use Vegreen Viz C Ampoule with the Numbuzin No 5 Vit derivative Vit C together to boost efficacy?? And pair with Urea face cream to top off? And also does the No 5 have Copper peptide in it?? Thank you in advance for your time!!! Sal (Sallie)

Haha I wouldn't use it with glycolic or tret but you can use it in a morning with copper peptides no problem and then just skip the day of the week you use your glycolic :) hope this helps xx

🍊 just a bit of advice on pure form vitamin C. Never trust a discount. Seems like it’s end of the product run. I picked up the CosRx 13% ascorbic acid on discount and it was definitely turning. Probably should’ve thought that one through.

The G&G vit C is amazing. I didn’t know how much hyperpigmentation I had until I compared a photo of my skin from few months ago and now. I believe it also helped with my dark circles alongside other products. I have it for 3+ months and it’s still not oxidised because i keep it in the fridge. It’s such a good affordable product.

🍊 I use a K beauty serum the Skin & Lab Vitamin C brightning serum. After this bottle is used up I want to try the Glow recipe serum with seabuckthorn. I haven't found my favourite yet.

🍊 use Naturium vitamin c but i like the texture of biossance since it’s more serum like . I just can’t afford biossance $$ and I think it’s a vitamin c alternative so probably not worth the money. I like using inky list vitamin c face wash and I swear I see a difference in brightness when I use it . I like to try geek and gorgeous but I’m in the US and don’t have great mail service . Wish it was sold in stores here .

And now the big question….. When are you going to release your Vitamin C serum??? That and an eye cream would allow me to be Tretinoin and ALL MAS for my skincare routine. Timeless’ Vitamin C dupe Is my vote. That product is amazing. Anytime I’m asked about products and what I use, it’s Timeless Vitamin C 20% and MAS sunscreen as the must have starters. 🍊THD from Medik8 (great, got it as a present but too expensive and not miraculous, so I won’t buy it myself) - Paula’s Choice Bit C & Glutathione .. really nice but too expensive serum for that little bottle that will finish quickly .. Amy favorite up to now has been Timeless Vit C 20% .. Fabulous! Geek and Gorgeous 15% was good as well but it was sometimes giving me irritation on face and neck ..that’s why I prefer the Timeless 20% with Ferulic Acid

🍊🍊🍊 I've found the Vit C has really improved the tone and look of my skin and that Prequel's Vit C serum (with built in antioxidants) has really agreed with my sensitive skin. I also like their protective package and very reasonable price point. I pair it with sun screen, Azelaic acid, and the Natrium Multi Bright Tranexamic Acid with Kojic Acid and Alpha Arbutin.
I still need to try prequel I am excited to give them a go.. love x

Last week I started Protocol Labs Vitamin C Superserum (10% ascorbic acid). I chose it b/c based on their website the company utilizes impressive technology re: ingredients, bottling process/design & research. I had no idea that pH of topical Vitamin C makes a difference or that our skin can reach a “saturation point” where it cannot take on more Vitamin C after just a few days of application.
From their research “they lowered the concentration of our serum to 10% ascorbic acid, which allows for total antioxidant saturation but with a gentler daily application. In other words, 20% is more harsh and goes to waste anyway after day 3 of use.”
So based on the reviews & impressive body of research cited, I ordered their Retinal for night & Vitamin C for day. I’m seeing some improvement in the stubborn congestion/texture on my forehead so🤞for the next 60 days.

Oh I’ve wanted to add vitamin c but my skin hates it. I’ve tried several including drunk elephant, Sunday Riley, cerave. The last one I recently used was Naturium. When I use it my skin is flushed and itchy all day.

As time went on, my face lost its glow, developed dark spots and blemishes that appeared to multiply despite my efforts with different skincare routines.
After extensive research, I finally got litttleextra rice berry face serum and began applying it underneath my sunscreen. Weeks passed, and the serum started to work its magic. The spots slowly faded away, showing a smoother and more even-toned complexion.
Apart from this, I started washing my face thrice a day. Then, I started drinking about six glasses of water daily. I tried to eat less junk food, and I started getting myself involved in physical activities so that I could have a wonderful sweat on my face. All this worked, and I achieved a nice glow on my face.

I use the cosrx 13 percent. I only use it occasionally because i prefer retinal. I think om the summer ill use vit c more. I store all skincare in my fridge. Vit c last longer if keot cold. It has never oxidized

🍊 I've tried Paula's Choice, CosRX, Skinlab all oxidized and stained. Vanicream is stable but not as effective. It's also billed as sensitive skin safe. Maybe I just haven't found my holy Grail...🤷🤦

Hi Rob, I have a question related to my eye skin. I developed bad wrinkles, crapey skin with bags under my eye. I m so depressed to even look at myself. I m just crying which is also counter productive but I am worried. I will turn 37 in May but my eyes look a 100 years old. Plz help. Tell me what I can do to fix it. My eye skin looks thin, dry , crepey n tired. I trust you as your suggestions have never failed me. Plz help Rob
I feel for you. There are eye creams that have been mentioned on the channel but what works for one person may not work for another. If you are able to tolerate an SPF around your eyes that will help - I am one of the unlucky ones whose eyes get irritated by most SPFs even ones not meant to sting, but I have rosacea and blepharitis (eye condition often linked to rosacea). I tend to use my face serums up to my eyes as heavy creams tend to migrate easily. The only SPF I can tolerate round my eyes is actually a lip balm that has SPF, the Palmers cocoa butter one SPF15. I figure any SPF is better than none. A happy side effect is that the butters in this lip balm blur the lines around my eyes. That is purely an optical illusion but a welcome one, given I am in my early 50s.
If you can find an affordable cosmetic doctor try getting a lower blepharoplasty. It takes out all the crepey skin and produces collagen. I had mine done for 1800. No regrets
I am mid-50’s and have found that the Niod Fractionated Eye Contour Concetrate, and the ordinary eye peptide serums have helped greatly with my eye area.
Geek and Glow gave me soo much spots . Will never use again!
