- 48 Hours in Estonia: Exploring Tallinn and Tartu
We're back in Estonia!!! Come on an adventure as we explore the vibrant cities of Tallinn and Tartu during our first 48 hours in this enchanting Baltic country. From the moment we arrive in Tallinn, we are OBSESSED with its medieval old town, with its cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and charming cafes. We lose ourselves in the rich history and cultural heritage of this UNESCO World Heritage Site and quickly get on a train out of the city. We then fall in love with Tartu, where we wander through the picturesque Town Hall Square. So let's go on this exciting journey as we uncover the hidden gems of Estonia's urban landscapes during our first 48 hours, immersing ourselves in its history, culture, and unforgettable experiences. #estonia #visitestonia #eesti #traveleurope
Thank you to Visit Estonia for bringing us out on this PR trip!

➤ ABOUT US: Hi! We’re Nick & Raychel, the couple behind the blog Not Luxe - where we write travel guides & help people open their eyes to alternative living, whether that be teaching English online, moving to Cambodia, taking advantage of working holiday visas (like in Australia) or building a DIY stealthy camper van to live & work on the road. Right now, we’re living the van life and travelling throughout Canada, Mexico and the USA.
Our goal here is to bring you weekly content where we hope to inspire you to break free & live the life you desire. On this channel, we talk everything from finances to minimalism to working online to mindset and post a weekly vlog of our daily lives. We hope you join us on our journey to see the world, save money, live minimally, and most importantly, have fun.
So if you're looking for a channel about van life and budget travel, you're in the right place.
Love,

Hi you 2! The first video from you guys we saw was you arriving to Queenstown. And everything you said about driving and buying a car we connected with. Absolutely our experience too (but on North island)! And then the next video suggested was about Estonia and we were like ''what!?'' Because that's where we're from. So we were definitely interested in seeing what other people think about our little country. And then we watched the next video about Estonia and now this one. The weird thing was that we were also learning things about our country from you guys. There were so many moments in your videos where we were like ''oh, I didn't know this before!'' and that was super cool! :D Also It looks like you guys were there this summer while we'd already flown to NZ and you showed us our hometown like we hadn't seen it before (with those massive 2024 banners). So super cool videos from you guys and thank you for making them. :)
Omg that's so cool! Are you from Tartu then? We love Estonia! This was our second year back. It truly is such a great place. Thanks for watching!
Hello from Lithuania, i have some Eatonian in me. Somewhere viking age time.
We might have to put Estonia on our travel list now. So much good looking vegan food!
Yes you HAVE to go!!
Estonia looks great - beautiful video Nick and Raychel.
I live in Estonia, Tartu and i just love to see ppl having fun in my country :)
I love that 🇪🇪
if you still visit Estonia, I recommend going to Lottemaa in the Pärnu city
How Awesome 🎉❤❤
"Emajõgi" in straight tranlsate means "mother river" and it is one of the biggest river in Estonia.
Beautiful Country ❤
That editing was epic! You guys got a drone now?
We’ve had a drone for years! Thank you!! xx
Maybe u can go down to Lithuania. That would be great video
During winter time temperature could drop below -20C and it would be quite waste of heating and discomfort for passengers it trains would open all doors wide open for a minute at every stop.
Same in Canada...
Guys you should really go to the supermarket and buy a "kohuke" trust me it tastes amazing :)
Thank you for the recommendation!
A small, but important detail: in Estonia sitting at the table with a hat is regarded very impolite and rude. Definitely not a local custom. It's like going to the church and leaving your hat on.
Get into the nature
We did this week! Here’s where we explore southern estonias countryside: ua-cam.com/video/8Jf2_YHa32o/v-deo.htmlsi=Gu5xMUYmQ7Wki2jm
