Yo, please next time when you have a person talking and explaining about the car (which everybody is here for), insted you can barely hear the man from the loud repetative music. Lower it down in post please, will be alot more enjoyable. The skuzki is top!

Wish they would sell these in the US. I had an 88 Suzuki Samurai back in 1990 and I loved it. I regret selling it to this day.

I am wondering if they are mixing up bhp & kw. He says 72hp at 2:30, these are ~100hp out of the factory, which is approximately 75kw. 155kw is approximately 210hp.
Some people just do not get what is " ON WHEEL " POWER
I love the little Jimny, but I'm always skeptical horsepower claims with add-ons. Video says 200 horsepower, yet the man at 3:10 clearly says 155.
Maybe the stripes and seats added the additional 45 horsepower. 😀
I have a track day background but have also owned 2 older spec Jimny's. I've always thought it would be a great car with 200hp... but I would keep it otherwise stock. The previous generation car cornered very flat, so you could actually make reasonable progress on the road - yet you were always limited by a shortfall of power for overtaking. No interest in lowering it, as I still want all the benefits of it's offroad credentials. Oh, and keep a quiet exhaust so nobody knows what's occurred under the hood.

I heard that it will be better to supercharged the engine instead of turbocharging it if you want to take the Jimny off-road. This way you will not have to cope with the turbo boost when you are navigating the terrain.
Looks pretty awesome! And must be a lot of fun to drive with low weight and 200 whp. Congrats
if suzuki made something like this from the factory, it would sell much better than the actual jimny

How does this turbo's power come on? Is it more top-end, or mid-range? How is the torque spread out? Did you consider a supercharger? This is now much more street-oriented than the stock version, so the suspension and brakes make sense. I think this is a more honest mod than giving it a lift, big knobby tires and a bunch of lights. Daily driving is how most people who buy this car would use it. Great stuff! Thanks.

Which country is this gent from? I like the concept but for me, living right in the bush & down some pretty rough tracks, lowering is not an option nor is travelling without a spare tyre. But extra power & better brakes too, sounds very good.

“I added coilover suspension” its a solid axle street car, im guessing its not a coilover....
It's a good concept, but the stock rear drum brakes are concerning considering the added horsepower. Going fast is good, but being able to stop is more important.
Tsino its very hard to get right parts for replace those drum brakes. If they get that they will add that surely.

The non-aero boxy unit design plus the short wheelbase won't be able to handle the highway speed delivered by that 200hp grunt upgrade.

Would have been cool if they'd improved the 4x4 capabilities along with the engine mod. Its not an SUV its a proper off roader with a ladder chassis. Turning into a wannabe street rocket makes no sense imo.
ChawenHalo 008 but its cool. I bet 90% of buyer don't use its 4x4 capabilities. And very few % are actually driving it like a mountain goat
@@fruitycoconut true ;). Would have been awesome with that engine and mountain goat enhancement though. Trying to turn a ladder frame fairly classic 4x4 into a junior street rod is just tuning for the sake of it.
@@fruitycoconut Agree. Facts are that most people who buy off-road capable rigs simply don't take them off road. If this one had to negotiate a fire road or a gravel trail, I don't think it would have any problems. The rest of the time, it would be way more fun to drive, and it looks great.
Shit, I am sitting here thinking about much it could tow, my old 1.3L 86hp was good with 1500kg, 200hp & updated brakes, I wonder if it would chew it's diff if you put 3000kg on it.

Not knocking the upgrades but surely you can squeeze a little more BHP or WHP out of this.. i.e.. 300 ish - maybe add a supercharger or a bigger turbo? Idk im not a mechanic but someone in the comments could educate me 👌🏽 In all it looks small and fun to drive, would like to have seen a LED Headlight Bar on the roof and some fog lights plus a Rear diffuser thats just there for looks as some touch ups and then it would be perfect

it is not designed for speed even though having a stronger engine is helpful offroad using supercharger not a turbo!
