The wall is looking beautiful, great work Gayle. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the wall really is the lost tower? All along it was right there, sheltering you. Kitty boi will be a spoiled rotten brat in no time! I love how the Peacocks are your constant audience; then again, you are the only show in town.. lol
It took a good few months of patience for a wild cat to trust me enough to come inside and be comfortable, 11 years later and she's the boss of the house 😅
You sold yourself short, Gail-the wall is looking great. And what a wonderful find in that chamfered edge worked stone block! You and Alex have an uncanny knack for finding treasure, even when you’re not looking. Thank you for sharing!
Oh my gosh… the roses & poppies are beautiful!! Your hard work and green thumb is evident!! The stone wall is certainly a labor of skill & love!! You are amazing, Gayle!! ❤
I was sitting here with my husband watching this and I said wow what a good job and he said that's exactly what I was going to say! Now you're going to have to tear the ivy off around the other side of the wall you're such a good wall builder. Much love from Oklahoma USA Jackie 🇺🇸💖
Balancing stone is a great meditation Gayle. You are doing a great job. I never took any courses but worked most of my life with stone in my gardens or carving them into hawks and people. My back can’t take it any longer but I enjoy watching. Alex’s new friend is really settling in I see. Lovely.
Wow, Gail, you have mad skills. That wall is becoming so beautiful again, thanks to your patience and artistic eye. Looking forward to the before-and-after pics when it's finished. 😊Thank you!
So beautiful stonewalls. What a great job with them!!!! Exiting about the lost tower! Hope you find trace of it . And what a nice and respectful treatment of the cat. All credit to you both.
Alex not sure I mentioned this in your last video... but I think you are brilliant and amazing for your job repairing the lawnmower. You and your mom do a great job maintaining your place. Also I love seeing the progress you are making with the stray cat... Your roses are lovely... ManShwoo is looking so much more mature all the time... I love seeing him... won't be long he'll be in full glory... The stone wall repairing looks to be rather an enjoyable sort of relaxing puzzle fiddly work to do... but the end result is what's important... and at any rate you are making a grand effort at it Gail... I'm no expert wall builder... but seems to me you are doing a great job.
Well done Gail! My husband built several dry stone walls on our property over the past 20 years. It's hard work but it takes his mind off his day job. I've helped some and learned that, the stone I expect to fit, often will do upside down from how I planned it to. 😄
These walls and the work that goes into them really isn't appreciated by many driving past them. Well done Gayle, fantastic job, you earned that cup of tea!
I envy you your rocks. I live in Syracuse, NY and drive 50 miles north to gather rocks to make my walls in my small suburban backyard. (People think I'm crazy) I've always just stacked the rocks. You have taught me so much with this video! I can't wait until spring to redo some of my walls and make them so much better, especially with the topper stones. Thank you and Blessed be.
Good work, Gayle. It just occurred to me, that in the years to come, future residents of the house will be blessed with the results of all your hard work. And let's hope they take care of the old place as well as you have.
Amazing to watch you rebuild the wall. The strength it takes to lift all those huge rocks. If you could, would you please share a photo of the tower before it was lost. Your garden is beautiful.
You picked up another rock that had a part of lost tower shape. Maybe you put it in the wall but it was sort of shaped square with squares at each corner.
I could have watched you all day building that wall. Great job Gail. The stone corner thingy is very intriguing. Im hoping you both discover something really exciting to do with the tower. Great video as always.
Gail, you are just amazing! What a beautiful wall! All those mossy stones are lovely! You both are making your home a showplace! Absolutely incredible! PussPuss seems to be saying “Is there any more, hmm?” He’s getting closer.
I know, right? And the beautiful music made light of the toil, but wow. So much work! It’s fascinating to watch you rebuild the wall, Gail. I’ve always been fascinated by them and have always wanted a little seaside property with old livestock walls around the land. Now you just need sheep! 🐑🐑🐑
Impressed with your repair of the dry stone wall, it's difficult work and looks professional Love the way the white peahen thinks she's human - the way she inspects every little thing that humans do.
Such labor intensive work. I can see where Alex gets her perseverance from. You two are amazing with how accomplished you are. I believe you have such a good work ethic also. A job well done. Donna northern Michigan.
Gail, I (Ian) was with you in spirit while watching you do such a wonderful job repairing that lovely wall. I love handling stone but never had the joy of actually working on a stone wall such as yours. My experience with stone was making two level garden bed borders in our garden. Definitely down to earth work.
Gail - u are amazing - the wall rebuild is looking great. I'd say many of the wall stones look like they may have come from your lost tower. Man-Kat is so greedy! Alex - you'll have him tamed soon. Your birds & cats really are living their best lives in your on your gorgeous property.
With the “bit” of dry stone classes you took, I think you had the basics down! You did very well from what I see! Far far better than I could for sure. It’s like one giant puzzle, is what I like to say, eventually it will fit together. It takes work and patience to build your paradise. It’s coming together quite nicely I’d say. Well done Gail! ❤️❤️
Wow, I feel like a slacker. I don't have a yard to work in. Yours looks beautiful. I live in a condo complex, so I don't have to worry about yard work. I do have a pond that I can walk around. One time around is a 1/4 mile, so I do 2 miles a day. Great wall.
You have made a better job of that wall than some men I’ve saw building them on UA-cam. Most of them use mortar to hold them together. Well done you. 👊
OMG is there anything you gals won't take on? Alex fixing a riding lawnmower, Gail building a stone wall? You are an inspiration and I admire both of you so much. You both work so hard. I hope there is some rest and relaxation time that we do not see on the camera. Hugs from Canada!
You have an amazing catalogue of knowledge, Lydia! What a difficult but clearly satisfying work on the drystone wall. So well done . . . hope you back and hands are ok! Love to you and to Alex from WA State.
You could tell how many long hours you spent on that wall Gail. Watching you work on fast speed, the sun turned round full circle almost and that was probably just one day. The work you did was a joy to see. Your course in wall building, was put to great use. Your finished wall looked fabulous. Well done. Wouldn't it be wonderful if parts of your wall, was in fact constructed from parts of your Lost Tower. I think you should search for more pieces of well cut and fashioned stones. I couldn't believe how many stones you found. Grown over with a good layer of grass. Your a real trooper Gail. You worked really hard and your reward is a beautiful sturdy standing wall. 😊 Ah and the young stray cat is getting tamer by the day. I'm glad the milk you gave him was cat milk. My friends cats love that stuff. Giving him tuna for his tea, I'm sure was a real treat. He's very cute. I hope he builds up his nerve and decides he really would like to join your family. The rose garden is a really lovely collection of such pretty roses. Bet they smelt beautiful. Xxx
OMG! More jedi skills?!?! Wall repair is beyond great! Strength and patience (and an eye for a straight line) Absolutely brilliant Gail. You two can set up a landscaping/garden business at this rate. I am very inspired and encouraged to get busy with my own small projects that I keep putting off. Thankyou for your fab posts from Scotland. Xx
I’m always learning something new watching your channels. Love stone walls and never knew there could be a hidden valley of stones filling in the center. Looks marvelous, thank you for sharing.
I love to see your wall! It will look great when you finish it and, of course, next year the ivy will come back and hide it all again. You look like you enjoy a good puzzle. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I keep hoping to see Alex's bedroom finished. I hate to think of you in the guest room or couch. You are both amazing and strong tackling everything you have. Love watching you but, get exhausted just watching. Protect your hands and arms more Alex.
You are doing such a lovely job of rebuilding the stone wall. In the past, I have tried, my wall was a disaster. It collapsed within a very short time.
The wall is looking beautiful, great work Gayle. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the wall really is the lost tower? All along it was right there, sheltering you. Kitty boi will be a spoiled rotten brat in no time! I love how the Peacocks are your constant audience; then again, you are the only show in town.. lol
Impressive work, Gail...and impressive results!
Alex, you'll have PusPus inside soon and curled up by the fireplace!
It took a good few months of patience for a wild cat to trust me enough to come inside and be comfortable, 11 years later and she's the boss of the house 😅
Gail, that was absolutely a fantastic work with the drystonewall!!! What a dedication! 😎👌
You sold yourself short, Gail-the wall is looking great. And what a wonderful find in that chamfered edge worked stone block! You and Alex have an uncanny knack for finding treasure, even when you’re not looking. Thank you for sharing!
Gail you are such a hard worker, an inspiration to us all.
So happy to see the tabby is slowly but surely becoming more trusting! And cat safe milk!! What a treat!!
Oh my gosh… the roses & poppies are beautiful!! Your hard work and green thumb is evident!! The stone wall is certainly a labor of skill & love!! You are amazing, Gayle!! ❤
Impressive work!!! Looks professionally done!

Alex’s new friend is really settling in I see. Lovely.
Start a channel about the old ways and preserve history forever! 😊❤
The wall looks terrific. Heavy work for a lady. Requires a lot of fortitude, patience, and determination. Bravo, R..
Yes. The work would be much lighter if she was not a "lady"
My back hurts from just watching you stack rock. I hope you aren’t too sore tomorrow ❤️💪🏼
I’m very impressed, no job phases you ladies. ❤
Gayle, you and Alex never cease to amaze us. The wall looks great.
It makes me laugh so hard at how ruddy nosey the shroos are😂😂😂😂 they have to get involved in everything so funny... huge huggles from falkirk ❤❤
Nice work. You sure have a beautiful homestead
Wow, Gail, you have mad skills. That wall is becoming so beautiful again, thanks to your patience and artistic eye. Looking forward to the before-and-after pics when it's finished. 😊Thank you!

Well done Gail!
Your little kitty has the sweetest little face
I love the look of dry stone walls and you did a good job on the restoration. The physical demands of building them is immense.
Well done Gail! My husband built several dry stone walls on our property over the past 20 years. It's hard work but it takes his mind off his day job. I've helped some and learned that, the stone I expect to fit, often will do upside down from how I planned it to. 😄
Gayle, your drystack is better than the original! Great!
I know absolutely nothing about building stone walls, but Gail, you have done a beautiful job!!
These walls and the work that goes into them really isn't appreciated by many driving past them. Well done Gayle, fantastic job, you earned that cup of tea!
Fantastic job on the wall Gayle 😊
Great use for an old bucket! Awesome job on the wall Gail!! Thanks for another wonderful video.
The finished wall is a masterpiece. So beautiful.

Beautiful restoration, I love it with NO ivy!!
You can admire the stone craftsmanship with no ivy obscuring the beauty.
Good work, Gayle. It just occurred to me, that in the years to come, future residents of the house will be blessed with the results of all your hard work. And let's hope they take care of the old place as well as you have.
Very well done. The wall looks good.👍
Wow that wall is amazing ❤
Ivy and lime trees ,not good for stone walls. Great rebuilding job. Beautiful wall and lovely flowers. Cat is doing well.
When a woman becomes one with her wall...art arises. Maybe that floppy rose is a rambler? 🤔 Those poppies!!!😍. 🤗❤️🌈🙏🕊️
Yes! It would be great on a trellis, fence or wall!
Fantastic job!
Amazing to watch you rebuild the wall. The strength it takes to lift all those huge rocks. If you could, would you please share a photo of the tower before it was lost. Your garden is beautiful.
Nothing you cannot do 👍so much patience! Would love to know your History Gail, great work ethics you passed onto Alex☮️🧚♀️💜
I too was curious! I’ll give you one clue that I found, Hey Hey 🐒🐒🐒
This mother daughter is a dynamic duo!
That wall renovation looked very hard but very satisfying! Good job!😊
Love the cat. She looks just like our Sissy cat that we had for 21 years.
You picked up another rock that had a part of lost tower shape. Maybe you put it in the wall but it was sort of shaped square with squares at each corner.
