I was blown away by Big Screen. Its really an amazing experience.
I just thought it was a paid movie experience, looking back now and currently using it. I was wrong

@@pongchannel. Renting a movie is paid, and 3D movies are paid. But you can join servers hosting movies and tv shows for free

If they are able to add an IMAX screen (or size) or the AMD Dolby Cinema screen (or size), that would be amazing as the app almost has every theater need.
An IMAX type screen would be great too.

A great feature to add would be if the video player had bookmarks to restart a video where it was stopped previously.

big screen is amazing! awesome experience! looks real. AND THE COMMUNITY IS GREAT!!! every person in the theatre is awesome and they will vibe with you and have normal conversations instead of screaming in your ear!

They do need to add the 4DX. It's like, moving seats, water, and wind AND also fog! It's a real cool experience.
Are there going to be any other movies on ? Plus in the lobby arcade can you put some playable games like air hockey or hoops for basketball or a duck hunt like game.

It looks like Job Simulator is becoming a reality, except with movie theaters instead of a workplace. It's sad that most theaters are having to close during this period in time.
Do you need virtual desktop to show your screen or watch custom videos or do you just need to connect it with the charging cable?

How do you accomplish the split screen like gameplay where you can see both you and your friends screen?
you have to allow screensharing in your room and then they will have the option of putting their screen on the big screen
Hope they would have explained this since is kinda hard to find around how that works
A great feature to add would be to turn off controllers so I don’t waste my battery lol
You can already do it, just press the home button on each controller and keep it pressed until is off

i think you guys should make a theater where the screen isn't so big. i find I have to move my head to see the edges of the screen. or add a feature to zoom out a bit.
just stop sitting so close to the front of the screen lol... you know the optimal seeting in a real cinema is the middle seats in the 3rd or 4th row right... lol...

For some reason i cant move my hands that far, so grabbing things aint easy. Im not sure if i clicked on something but yeah, been struggling to figure what is up with it
BigScreen looks great and I installed as you recommended. But I got strange color if playback Hi10 HDR movie that on my local network NAS. Also, is BigScreen can make use of Quest 2's XR2 chipset to do hardware decode HEVC H.265 .mkv movie file? Thanks a lot!
Why are you guys continuing to promote the idea that you can use this to play splitscreen games with players all over the globe, and then I see your developers saying it was never intended for this and input lag is going to be over 100ms?
Because the upcoming update to our feature "Remote Desktop" has ultra-low-latency screens with sub-20ms (10ms) of lag and IS intended for gaming. Those are old comments from 1-2 years ago.
This is a tutorial we display for PC VR and Quest users, so some features aren't always the exact same on mobile. But with our upcoming updates, the goal is to make everyone regardless of their headset (Quest, Rift, Vive, etc.) as capable and powerful with the same featuresets for everyone. Just give it more time in order for these updates to launch!
@@DarshanShankar got it, thanks for the reply. I saw the Fall Guys segment during the Quest tutorial and then got excited to try it with a friend and it was frustrating trying to figure out what was wrong. Looking forward to the update.
@@TylerHansenVideo sorry about that. Stay tuned, we have some big updates for Quest coming out over the next 2/3 months. I personally played Fall Guys on my Quest in the upcoming/unreleased Bigscreen updates and it feels incredible.

in the quest 2 bigscreen 3d films are small, how do you increase screen size?
Is there a way to move where you are in the too. Without physically moving, like when using stationary boundary ( I’m on a quest 2 if that matters)

I'm hoping to use my quest 2 to watch movies and play traditional PC games as if I was sitting 18 inches from a 100" monitor.
Exactly what i want
Virtual Desktop is another option, I'm learning how to use it myself, the screen doesn't follow your eyes but you can grab it and put it wherever you want (ceiling, floor, whatever) and you can resize the screen, make it curve, it's pretty great IMO
A 100 inch monitor? Or is that cm?
You can do this now and way larger then 100 inches try fifty foot screen or 360 panaramic

For some reason no matter what I do I can not get remote desktop to link with my OQ2. Pretty much tried everything I know of and no luck.

Love Bigscreen but Quest - Up to 4 Users ( 1 for yourself, 1 As my Audio in the room ) I have been only been able to see 2 people in my room not a true 4 or 5 including myself
it was beautiful if i can have button for giving access to work on my pc, move cursor, write text, or press combinations, it makes up work progress, because you dont need make what your friend said, he can do it by self

So when you start watching something in Big Screen and decide you would rather watch something else instead, how do you go back to the menu? The only way I can figure it is you have to exit and restart it. That can't be right?

How to unsigned up
If I move from a seated position (facing East), then to a reclined position (facing North), how do I recenter the screen so I can see it? It stays stuck in the East. I can move the menu but not the screen.
Edit: Just restart Q2 and Bigscreen and it'll re-orient the screen.
Just hold the quest button on the right controller and it recenters your view

It doesn’t work for me. I use oculus quest and a windows laptop i go to steam and launch from remote desktop. It force quits and then i try launching the game normally no Remote Desktop or vr and it says “Requirements not met” Please help I wanna finish the final episode of cobra kai “IN STYLE!”

try using the cable i have the same problem if i host a room i cant here anybody and they cant hear me but have just been told to use the cable and it will work
@@paulsheriff a link cable worked, but it didn’t last long my cable got coiled too much and is glitchy now. I want them to hurry up and update it
