I changed my alternator and battery light is still on and i have a new battery too ideas? When i have no stuff on with the car on about 13.6-13.89 volts never seen 14volts! when i have the headlights on and the ac on its 12.6-13.3 volts is it my alternator that went bad again? lol battery light has been on since the old one went out
The fan assembly/ radiator should really be removed first to make it this job way easier to remove and install the alternator , you can re use the old coolant if it’s clean.
I have a 2005 Acura MDX and the 120 amp Battery fuse keeps blowing when I place the positive cable on it. My battery light came on and the the car kept cutting off because loosing power. I’m about to change the alternator to see if that works any suggestions or has anyone ran into this problem.
Perfect DIY video. I replaced mine yesterday. The biggest hurdle was to aling the new alternator back into the lower bracket.
How did you end up getting it? had to take a break from it since I couldn't get it to fit in the bracket.
Nicely done video with very clear verbal directions at each turn. Thank you!
Thank you for showing us what we need 😭 I’ve looked at 5 different videos before this and couldn’t tell exactly what I needed before this
out of all the 2000's mdx alternator replacement video, this one is the best i've come across. Thank you for the clear angles

thanks. good video. i'm replacing my alternator tomorrow and you've helped me.
Great video! One thing I would add is to remove PS fluid reservoir bracket. Only one screw and makes maneuvering alternator much easier

One reason I won't buy or even borrow a Honda and Acura. The motor bays are ridiculous
