Great video! Thanks for the info!
agree with you. it can drive IEMs easily but not many bigger headphone, particularly plannars
doesn't the apple dongle volume lower when used on android phones if I recall correctly????
You can by pass it through some apps
The answer is at 1:44
Yes, you can get USB Audio Player Pro app to allow the Apple DAC to operate at its best.
It's crazy this stupid thing has better audio than my motherboards audio
Yes it is half volume on android. I dont want to buy the usb audio app. Im returning the dongle
Apple dongle it a great dac amp dongle.. If you are in a tight budget & you are using only earphones & iems then this is a no brainer.. But if you are aiming for the best possible audio quality for the lossless hi-res music listening experience & you have highend iems & full sized high impedance hesdphones then that is when the more expensive self powered headphone dac amp is a must & it is way more better than the apple dongle.. but the negative side of self powered dac amo is the size & the weight of carrying it with your player or even a dedicated dap is a pain when you have to carry both you phone & a dap.. but if you always have a body bag then the problem is solved.. For me I carry 2 iphones & the old model is for my apple music only.. Together with it I stick a velcro to attach my mojo 2 to my iphone that is always in my body bag..
I want to use this dongle with an android phone and home theatre. Home theatre has an external power supply and separate volume control. Will this dongle go well with this combination.
i'm trying to avoid using bluetooth ear buds for making phone calls with a pixel 7. i got one of these, and although the audio (through USBAPP) can't play bit perfect, or able to handle above 24/96 audio (that's fine for driving around), it sounds ok.
but i want to be able to make phone calls with my wired headsets that i have used for years with my lg g8. the mic isn't working when i try the apple dongle. i had read it's supposed to work.
are there any settings that i need to make/change in the menus? or am i just chasing something i can't really do.
again, i'm trying to avoid using bluetooth ear buds.
thanks
edit: i found out the phone capability works if you don't allow USBAPP to take over the sound output. that is a drawback, but for now i'll deal with it.
I just ordered one to use iem on my pc as someone told me even good motherboards dont give the same audio as this apple dongle but im in the eu i didnt know the us one was different and the person who told me is us should i just send it back as its eu version is half power ?
Hi can I use these with any iPhone like a iPhone 5/5s or there is a minumum I'm talking about lightning version.
You either need a Lightning or USB type C connector on your phone
@@kinemosstech So I can use it with a iPhone 5s since It’s using a lightning port.
@@erkamyasirsimsek2300you can use the lightning to 3.5mm adapter. They're the same price
@@erkamyasirsimsek2300 Pretty sure
Apple sells a lightning version and a USB-C version.
I'm new to headphones, I'm planning to use these to drive the HE400SE wdyt?
Hello there, Do you know if this adapter can be used to boost the audio from a DT 990 pro to connected to a laptop ?
Good for an I pad and Audio Technica MX50X headphones?
Haven't personally tested it with those headphones, but should work fine!
so if i use the Lighting to 3.5 and plug my IEM into it, that $10 thing acts as a DAC?
Yes. It is a tiny DAC/AMP
@ appreciate the reply🫡
would this work from my bluetooth headphones with type c port to my pc
No idea what you are trying to achieve :)
@@kinemosstechI think he means headphones taking only input from usb-c or bluetooth. A few headphones dont come with 3.5mm input and i think he just wants to know if he can run usb-c through the adapter to add a 3.5mm input to the headphones
Excellent video. Will there be any downgrade compared to bluetooth mode on my Sony CH720N?
Very fair
Thanks a lot!
