One of the first times Jaime ever does something nice for anyone else, and he immediately after has to pay for all his past sins.
Just like when he killed mad king. He has been named Kingslayer and oathbreaker. ( I mean he is kind of but cmon.. You know the circumstances.)
Moral of the story: Don’t help people
Dude, that's Jaime's _story_ man. He killed the mad king, saving _thousands,_ and everybody denigrates and mocks him for it.
@@comeatmebro8120 no good deed goes unpunished
@@Trepanation21Too bad DnD spat in the face of that story in season 8 even though they were so fucking close to it.
Brig was in the middle of saying " They always get threatened but never-" and then Jaime's hand gets cut off lmaaooo
😂😂
I ate my words realllll quick 🤣
@@brigandrusGoT will get ya every time 😂😂 they know we learn the patterns and they let it happen a few times and then flip it
@lka9900 they were the most in touch w their audience...until they weren't. George's script lifts the load here but they did shoot it well and chooses the episodes and how they end etc for maximized effect
18:50 The start of a great relationship
It's so cool that Iwan Rheon and Alfie Allen are good friends in real life too!
Yes best bromance
👀
loved their dynamic ❤
Those two are going to reek some serious vengeance
He crippled Bran. Now he's a cripple. Jaime was the second greatest swordsman in Westeros and now it's over.
better to be a rich cripple ;p
😊Of 0000⁰00⁰😊😊0p⁰ppl😊p😊p😊pp⁰0000l0000😊
Who's the first? Arthur Dayne?
Idk if anyones said anything, but Brotherhood without Banners started when Ned sent Baerick Dondarion to capture the Mountain. So some of the Brotherhood are Ned's men.
not some. most of them had black/brown hair so they're mostly northmen.
21:23 Hands down one of my favorite scenes.
i see what you did there
it does turn out one of his hands was down
Got to hand it to u, that was good
Jaime is the most talented sword fighter in Westeros, especially with Barristen Selmy out, it was basically a fuck you
Sucks that the show never really gave them great fight scenes and even mistreated their characters.
I'm living for McKay's big ass smiles, when shit's gonna go down in a sec 😂
I wonder if they'll catch him making a face in the future haha
that edit of his face after theon gets saved was hilarious
Has McKay seen the whole series already?
@@quinnmach535yeah i think he did
And so begins Carter's desensitization 😂
Finally the Legend of Pod the Rod has been brought to light
Jaime losing his hand is just as shocking as Ned losing his head.
Way more shocking
That goat is the "Black fish"...and to put things in perspective, he was Jaime Lannisters hero growing up
Yes that’s important to remember later on
That song name is the Bear and the Maiden Fair a famous song in Westeros, also a metaphor for Jaime and Brienne
It also actually sounds pretty good.
👀
I've never heard a more funny description for Theon's rescuer than "Theon's new road mate."😂
Theon is so lucky to have him 😭
@@kaivalentine9664😂
Just two travelin' buds
@@kaivalentine9664so clutch 😂
Pod the rod.
You really think the full time prostitutes were impressed with his “rod”? 😂
I love McKays face reactions😂😂
"If you think this has a happy ending, you havent been paying attention" -(?)
2 more eps I think lol
18:55 “I know, he’s sick” 😂 well… technically yes
Yes!!!😂😂😂
i was cryinggggg 🤣
Y'alls reactions to the Podrick part was hilarious and then the absolute shock when Jaime got his hand cut off! Brig needing to stand up for a second was probably the best reaction, since he didn't think anything was actually going to happen. Great reaction, can't wait for the next episode!
Bighead Mckay is officially one of my new favourite effects :D
Also Podrick the goat!
LOVE IT!!
facts
13:00 Rhaegar was the Mad King's son and Dany's oldest brother
And just like that, Jaime’s only skill is gone lol
By the way, the show doesn’t do Edmure (Robb’s uncle) justice. In the books, it’s due to Robb not communicating well, and Edmure is one of the few lords who actually cares about the smallfolk.
Brutus 😂
Brutus 😂
On top of that, in the books Edmure is just so grief stricken about the death/funeral that he’s just unable to aim the arrow correctly. And the Blackfish takes over because he sees how difficult it is for him.
I think it's a brilliant scene, characterizing him this way without sympathy is how to foreshadow his choices missing their mark
A commander is not obliged to explain every detail behind his orders. They're called orders, they're to be followed. This is why discipline is important in the military; you can't have junior officers just deciding they're going to go it alone. Lord Tywin Lannister s one of Westeros' best commanders and he plays everything close to his chest, he doesn't explain everything to his subordinates, they just follow orders. Edmure should have followed his orders, he shouldn't be second guessing his commander.
“You little bastard” I love that part.
Can’t wait for the next episode. One of the most iconic scenes in the GOT history
You guys getting unexpectedly sad at the Hot Pie goodbye scene… same 😭
You're right Jackson, it must really reek in there.
nice
The big ass head zoom ins BAHAHA i love the editing
Carter is starting to yearn for the violence.
NO ONE:
BRIGS: DrowCOWIS.
Lmao true.
Someone should teach him how to say it.
Dont roast him like that😂. #DONTBULLYBRIG
he predicted it tho 😂
They did Edmure dirty in the show. In the books he missed aswell but because he cried and drank the night before because, you know, his dad died. The blackfish wasn't rude about it either
I was always a little confused by that scene. Just a rare opportunity for comedy I guess.
He was good as Brutus in HBO Rome.
Me relying on your got reaction releases every week to smile 😭
The guy who saved Theon's actor is a music artist as well, Iwan Rheon. He was also in the main cast of the UK show 'The Misfits', which was a great show.
There are so many musicians starring in GoT!
Osha (Natalia Tena) sings and writes in _Molotov Jukebox_
Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) writes and performs under his given name
Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) sings and writes as _Raleigh Ritchie_
Bronn (Jerome Flynn) sang and performed in _Robson & Jerome_
Hodor (Kristian Nairn) is an accomplished DJ and guitarist
Melisandre (Carice Van Houten) released her own album in which she sings and writes
Jojen Reed (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) is in a band called _Winnet_ with other members of his family
There's probably more!
Oh, and *many many many* musicians/artists/bands have appeared in the show as background characters!
0:01 ok, but in perspective, a kingsguard to a commoner is like beign in the board of directors of Disney vs the guy in the Pumba suit at the parks.
That scene with Tyrion, Bronn & Pod after Pod comes back with the gold is genuinely one of the greatest scenes in the entire show and no one will ever convince me otherwise 😂
23:43 You can see the darkness growing in Carter!!😂Then you can see the shock on Cannon’s face as he sees his brother turn to the dark side🤣
And the era of liking jamie begins
I was a scaredy cat like Carter too. This show definitely made me numb to gore and random nudity.😂
Theon’s new road mate ❤
Rhaegar was Dany’s older brother (much much older, he died when he was in his twenties and she was born after that). Some characters loved him because he showed them kindness and inspired loyalty and others hate him because he started a war by kidnapping Lyanna, Ned’s sister who Robert loved, which resulted in her death. He was a very similar character to Daenerys and in the books she even has a dream where she sees him in his armor and lifts his visor but the face inside is hers and not his
Dude I still remember being stunned at the end of this episode when I was like 14 and playing it back a couple times. For some reason I remember a different much more somber end credits song with the singer from the National, but maybe thats a different episode.
I need the rest of this season to drop asap!
14:50 if someone gives you everything you ask for during a bargain, then they plan on offing you soon
The song at the end is giving "YoU aRe My SpEcIaL" after yuji saw what sukuna did😭
They already mentioned Jons mother. King Robert asked Ned about her, Ned told him her name was Whyla and he wasn't going to talk about it anymore.
Damn, that was solid. Imagine just being on top of it like that… and by accident.
I like the different colours of yours t-shirts
I remember feeling so shook seeing Jamie get his hand cut off. Glad to see you guys just as shook. XD Just when you started to think he's a decent guy for protecting Brienne. XD
That Theodore Bagwell reference...T-Bag...🤣🤣🤣🤣
Next episode arguably has the best scene in tv history. Stay tuned! Don’t wanna spoil it lol
The big head look after the “cheeks clap” comment took me out!!! 😂😂😂
He knew what was coming and they got NO f’n clue!!!!!
i need the next episode reaction asap
"He's sick!" .... oh boy
i'll repeat someones comment from years ago. "pod in the streets, god in the sheets"
Tywin's first meeting as Hand, and everyone is rushing to sit close to him, Pod is a king with the ladies.. Starting with missing the flaming arrow, this is a low key funny episode.
I’m always watching McKay because I know when things are coming up and it kills me seeing his reactions, especially when he looks right at the camera 😭😂
Cannon in absolute shock at the end of the episode 😂😂😂
The dumb rock song at the credits was so weird and now I found out it was the first episode D&D directed💀
Tbh, I am so surprised about the song cause I remember that a few years ago when I watched GoT and got to this scene at the end when Jaimie's hand is cut off it went this way that we could hear his scream, the screen went black with his prolonged scream and then there was a complete silence, no music and after few seconds final credits appeared. I have found out about this weird song only recently while I was watching reactions to GoT. Idk if I am trippin or what but I swear when there were reruns of GoT in country (I am from Europe, not USA) the ending looked like I just described- with no music and in my opinion it fits the atmosphere of the series much more. The choice of song was terrible and completely out of touch.
@@Aleex111 You're tripping. Silent credits appeared only after Red Wedding.
The accidental predictions in these are so funny-especially Mckays reactions to them lol
Carter wanting to see the gore again? That was truly unexpceted
No sweet summer child anymore. 🤔😁
lol carter's pycelle impression was perfect
Lol McKay’s face when the others thought Locke was falling for Jaime’s talk.
I saw Jamie’s behanding with a couple of friends over Xbox live. One person in the parting wasn’t watching, he just heard Jamie screaming and the rest of us losing it… he kept asking what? What just happened?!? We couldn’t answer for a good minute. That’s when he started watching this show. 😂😂😂
Rhaegar is dany’s brother
Oh these gentlemen, truly the knights of summer, and winter is coming soon
This time i vouch for jackson that we dont know the exact location of were they are playing with theon.
8:13 IS THAT TOMMEN????
Ok, the actor was recast and does both roles, apparently
Wow never noticed!
yep, very sneaky
You have been introduced to the most beautiful character in the show.
Cutting Jaimes hand!! This scene Traumatised me I thought Ned’s death is the event that set everything but never saw that coming! This season is brutal lol season 3 is sooo good 🔥
HERE IS POD THE FREAKING ROD.
I hope the Gek crew react to Peaky Blinders someday.
27:50 I love that Carter immediately understands the implications of a Dragon being the relative equivalent of a WMD. Love these post-episode discussions and brainstorming.
Rhaegar isnt the Mad Kings son. He is his oldest living child. He is the bigger brother of Viserys and Daenerys
I love your reactions to this show, it feels nostalgic seeing it through someone else’s eyes again! Winter is coming ❄️
I love how we saw how similar both Tyrion and Jaime act the moment they are in trouble both just think their father's money is the answer to all their problems
Robb is so in the wrong in the situation with Edmure. Edmure isn't psychic. If he sent a message saying to wait he could have added he wanted to draw the Mountain out.
He’s not sooo wrong. He’s a little wrong. If it was so important to the plan, he should’ve told Edmure why to wait. But also, Edmure had his orders and ignored them for personal glory.
@@matthewmarkham5096He ignored them because he saw his people being slaughtered by the Mountain as as Lord Parmount of the Riverlands he saw it as his duty protect them, Edmure is one of the few lord of Westeros who actually cares for the smallfolk.
If Robb wanted to lure them further in he should have told his commanders that.
With your new Patreon upgrade, you guys should definitely upgrade the audio! Everyone should have their own mics ♥️
"Lets talk about jaime", kmao
Love your reactions
“Imagine if jon snow is not even ned’s son” wow
why are you all so smooth?
RIP JAIME’S HAND
The next episodeeee!!! Cant wait!!
What was that music after the end scene? lol
For a sec I thought The Boys credits were rolling lol
The bear and the maiden fair by The Hold Steady
It's part of the actual episode it's insane 💀
Just listening to them this episode i already know what they are gonna say abt Dany in the end 😭
0:38 he is a genius. This is exactly right. The downfall of GOT was that the creators fell for exactly that trap. Its almost impossible to notice it this early.
Btw, maester aemon is not the brother of the mad king. He would be the uncle of him & the great uncle to dani
Pod.. Greatest mystery in Westeros
Lol, I forgot how many people in this episode alone almost get assaulted.
Dude Carter's gotta stop overthinking. He'll spoil the show for himself at the rate his mind's wandering to places.😂
The Pod scenes are so great! 👌😁 So funny how y'all suddenly feel bad for Jaime, after everything he did being a Lannister. 🤔
Daenerys part was cool, the translator is a real chad for not translating all the insults.
One of these days we gotta get a Leg Slap Lore video
My guy kept expecting Pedro is a cutie pie. Come on, expect Bella too next time.
I always have a hard time concentrating on any scene, as I’m so distracted by Jackson’s twitching and tics always in motion( lol). I’m pretty sure, the dude in the hat, who’s seen this before, was not supposed to tell them it was Bruce Bolton, that has not been shown yet to Theon or the audience. Him and Jackson are two loose cannon’s, when it comes to spoilers, mark my words.😮
CRACKS me up on the side eyes 😅😅😅
Yeah, do it! Watch it again! WATCH IT AGAIN 😂
Poor Jaime. Give the man a hand.
Man that reaction with the hand 😂
Mckay's face!!!! hahahaha i'm dead!
He hit him right at the tendons and ligaments and joints, so it wasn’t clean through full bone
Did my man say “drake oris”?
