I don't think there was one thing in this clip that was true. I don't know where to start. The first thing is that when Jesus is speaking here it was before day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirt was going to be poured out on the early Christians. Jesus had not yet died for our sins and risen again. Consequently, the Holy Spirt had not yet been given to the new believers. Now, if Jesus is just a prophet to you maybe you can explain why he is Allah's word in the Koran and why he is still alive while Muhammed is dead?

Major Signs of the Day of Judgment

The Holy Spirit is Angel Gabriel. The Holy Spirit was already with Jesus and disicples and other Prophets in Old Testament.
The Spirit of Truth mentioned is Prophet Mohammad
"Muhammad is the Spirit of Truth"? The Spirit of Truth is not a man it's the Holy Spirit. So, if Muhammad is the Spirit of Truth, Is that why the Quran tells so many ridiculous lies about Jesus? Jesus did die on the cross, he was crucifed by the Romans, and No, he wasn't a coward and made an innocent man look like him to take his place on the cross so he could escape death, and No, he wasn't a sadistic A-hole and laugh about it because he thought it was funny to trick the Roman's, that isn't who Jesus is, that's not why he was born through a virgin birth, Islam acknowledges that Jesus had a virgin birth, does Islam also acknowledge that his father was God? Would God allow Jesus to hurt anyone? Would God allow him to be selfish? God said he was very pleased with his son, and when Jesus was a baby he was saved from the wrath of Herod, when so many innocent perished, was he saved to just run from his fate? That just wasn't the character that Jesus showed everyone that he met from his childhood to his adulthood, the story that Islam tells about Jesus is obviously a twisted blashemous lie told to discredit him and remove his divinity. Islam doesn't know Jesus, Muhammad didn't know Jesus. Almighty God is a spirit, he came in the form of a man named Jesus to die on the cross as an atonement for our sins, he was the final sacrificial lamb for sin, all of our sins, we are all sinners, and if we can only humble ourselves, confess our sins and ask God to forgive us and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we will be saved. Jesus doesn't merely sit at the right hand of God, he literally is the right hand of God.
God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whom ever believes in him shall not parish but have eternal life.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and only through him is the way to the Father.
Prophet Mohammad was the only one who heard and spoke the words of God. Its the same as Deuteronomy 18:18.
Deuteronomy 18:18. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

This is what John 14 says : John 14:16-17 (KJV) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Brooklyn 's logic poses a few problems...for Islam.
1st
If the term Comforter and Spirit of Truth both refer to the Holy Spirit, then this passage, and the one you quoted, Brooklyn, make sense. God is spirit. The Holy Spirit is spirit, not like us created beings.
2nd... If you look at the first few chapters of the book of Acts, what Jesus promised his disciples in the passage Brooklyn quoted was fulfilled in Acts, on the day of Pentecost. I have never met one Christian believer, one Muslim believer or one secular scholar who would say that the promise given by Jesus in John (the passage Brooklyn quoted) and it's fulfillment in Acts must be interpreted to mean that the disciples of Jesus were filled with Mohammad.
3rd
Look at the words of Jesus in John 14, when Jesus speaks of the Spirit of Truth and the Comforter as the same person.
Jesus says he will abide with you forever. The Holy Spirit can abide with Jesus disciples in the 1st century forever. Was Mohammad able to abide with Jesus's 1st century disciples when he was only born in the 7th century? Nope!
And was Mohammad able to abide with them forever? Nope!
Jesus said the world could not see the spirit of truth. He is invisible. The Holy Spirit is invisible. Was Mohammad invisible to the world in 1st century Palestine when he was only born in 7th century Petra (yes, Petra, not Mecca; check the latest from Pfander)? Nope!
"But you know him, he dwelleth with you and will be in you", Jesus goes on to say. When we apply this statement of Jesus to the Holy Spirit, it makes sense. Jesus's 1st century disciples know the Holy Spirit, He dwells with them and soon will be in them (on the day of Pentecost).
When applied to Mohammad, it makes no sense. How is it that the 1st century disciples of Jesus know Mohammad, how is he with them and how is it that he will be in them. Does this make sense? Nope!
Is this mubeen? Nope!
Do me a favour my Muslim friends. Check an online Bible for all the references to the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter and so on. See other references to the Holy Spirit. Check the account of Pentecost in the book of Acts. Can you logically come to the conclusion that the person referenced is anyone other than the Holy Spirit?
