You are correct, if you use a standard monitor, it would have to be removed off the desk before using the bed. Laptops work best. We've also mounted a few monitors to the face and then they can stay. For the cords, there is a 1 1/2" hole with a grommet that can run wires through the desk and an option to have a power outlet under the desk.

actually reply is incorrect - the lift mechanism is an adjustable spring mechanism which I believe is our design. It is freely available globally and enables precise load adjustment when installing so that it performs as shown. Gas lifts cannot usually do this as they are non-adjustable and often lack power for heavier installations.

We don't use particle board. It uses a spring system. If your springs ever wear out we office free replacement.

It’s a wall bed , you sleep parallel to the wall , not the other way , unless your a dwarf , are u a dwarf 😃
