Interesting to learn especially as I am a train fan, including Thai trains. I’ve only tried them to the South and on to Malaysia. A 4 hour journey to Pattaya is a bit if a turn off, though.
I tried the train between Bangkok and Pattaya twice. First time it was a big failure: I travelled from Bangkok to Pattaya in the afternoon by bus to Pattaya, stayed there overnight, and took next morning a taxi van to Baan Phlu Taa Luang, the terminal station. From there I wanted to go back to Bangkok (scheduled was around 2pm (? - I don't remember it exactly). But the train had problems, and was delayed for 1½h or so. On the way it had already before Pattaya a lot of problems, and on a bridge around 8km north of Pattaya the engine suffered from a breakdown. As it was already evening now, I left the train and climbed down the embankment (haha, always afraid of snakes in the vegetation...). The some Thai guys took me by their car back to Pattaya. Next morning I took the bus. Second time I took the other way round from BKK, and it worked smooth. But that journey is really only for train fans like you and me. 🙂
Hi, Sawadeeka. I recently travelled to Pattaya from Bangkok by a Cabbie (Driven by Mr.Don) I had no idaea that there is a train service. Maybe will try in my next visit next year. "Kaapunka"
I love your channel. it is what i want. it is all adventure. lovely. by the way if you could say where the train station is in bkk that would be great.
Hi mr. Christ would you mind to make a video about how to get to big buddha, laser buddha and view point of pattaya pleaseee... 🙏 because i have a plan to visit Thailand next month.
Most people take a van or bus from Mo Chit. I think there's a shuttle from DM and SBoom that takes you to either Mo Chit or Ekkamai bus/van terminals. I plan to figure out the bus way to go. I did it a long time ago. The problem with the train is it's very early in the morning according to what I've found on the net.
Id rather take a taxi from Bangkok straight to my hotel in pattaya. Ill pay the extra price. ........are we not going to talk about the lady in the black bra????❤❤😅😅😅
felt like to be disciplined like you bro..... if i was you, the entire scenario would have been in reverse...... late night party, booze, woman, and ultimately weed.......

But why did you not give the time that the train gets to the BTS station? This would surely be a more reasonable departure time than 06:55...

It sucked hard to find your seat number
Which station in Bangkok should i start going to pattaya?
I"m guessing Hua Lampong, the old main train station.
Exactly! At least when I went there. But I am not sure about the future. Maybe the train will leave from the new bang sue station instead.
