Bangkok Airport Rail Link is a commuter rail line connecting Suvarnabhumi Airport to Phaya Thai (BTS) station via Makkasan Station (MRT Phetchaburi).

The Airport Rail link operates daily from 06:00 to 24:00, with commuter City Line trains departing every 10 minutes during peak hours (06:00-09:00 and 16:00-20:00) and 15 minutes off peak and weekends.

Suvarnabhumi Airport - Lad Krabang - Ban Thap Chang - Hua Mark - Ramkhamhaeng - Makkasan (City Air Terminal - interchange with MRT Blue Line (Phetchaburi Station)) - Ratchaprarop - Phayathai (interchange with BTS Sukhumvit Line (Phayathai Station))
Bangkok Airport Rail Link Fares
Standard fare for the City Line is between 15-45 baht depending on distance.
Suvarnabhumi Airport to Phayathai Station
(BTS - skytrain interchange) fare is 45 baht.
Suvarnabhumi Airport to Makkasan Station
(MRT - subway interchange) fare is 35 baht.
Suvarnabhumi to Ratchaprarop
From Makhasan Station (interchange with BTS) going to ratchaprarop??
When see the airport, it reminds me first time arrives in Bangkok last April 2022. From airport stop at Makkasan and transit to Huai Khwang. By now, already visit Bangkok 3 times. Next visit will be February 2023, i miss Thailand, i miss Thai people so much. Sawadeekrup 🙏🏻

The Airport Link Express was stopped a few years back. My hotel is in Ramkamhaeng so I just need to travel from Suvarnabhumi then stop at Ramkamhaeng Station. Cheap, reliable and comfortable. From Phaya Thai, just purchase a Rabbit card then you can travel by the BTS. I have the Airport Link card, MRT and BTS card for my travel in and around Bangkok.

Vasu exchange on Sukhumvit is best rates in Bangkok. Very close to Nana station
I recommend you to exchange your money at Superrich Thailand (green label), you will get good rate there. I always exchange money from there when I travel abroad.

Get a taxi. Make sure they turn on meter. A ride into Bangkok incl expressway fees should cost about 300-400ish.

Every time I get to travel back to Thailand with my mom and/or with my sister, we always arrived at night. It sucks we have to wait at the airport until morning and book our flight to Udon to visit families. That's because I didn't do much research and my mom always wanted to fly on Korean Air. After that, we started looking for other airlines and still ended up at night..lol. However we took a taxi meter to Don Muang Airport for 15 bucks 450 baht during 2016 in December the week of Christmas.

I didn't know there was an Express Line from the airport 😃I thought only the ARL City Line existed. The ARL is truly a blessing to travelers who wish to reach downtown Bangkok in the fastest, most convenient, and cheapest way possible.

I often visit Bangkok Thailand and I always took Grab from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Chit Lom since I am bringing my parents (and I am the only navigator who read maps and lead the way).
I love the Bangkok BTS Skytrain system. I just came back from Bangkok last month.

This is very useful information. I have my fingers crossed that the express line will be open in november. It is probably quite a bit faster, and I need to go to Phayathai station and the BTS for my hotel.
I see others using taxis or even meet-and-greet cars that are SO much more expensive. I am really looking forward to saving money on this and instead spending that money on delicious foods in Bangkok!

First time I see one of your videos. Very interesting and well explained! It's also interesting to know as a European that the first floor is actually ground floor. In my country ground floor is called floor 0 and not floor 1 like it is in Thailand. One time I was in a hostel in Chiang Mai and they told me my room was on second floor but I couldn't find it there because I was actually trying all doors on the third floor😁
