Thanks for the great video. Some of the new EV offerings are amazing. The big question is where on a safari will you find a charging station? It is too bad Ford does not offer a tow option for other North American Mach-E vehicles. The EV9 looks interesting. A friend has a Kia Niro EV. I got a chance to drive it for a couple of days before buying the Mach-E to see if I would like an EV. The Niro EV is a nice car. According to the website, Hyundai Disney100 Platinum is coming early 2024 with extremely limited availability. Starting at $59,250. Dealers will likely add more $$$ on top. The first time I saw the Mustang Mach-E was at the 2020 New England Auto Show and it was under glass. So the test drive of my current vehicle was the first time I got in one. I am glad that I liked it. One of the advantages of EVs is being able to do indoor test drives. I do see the hearse with the ZDX. Old ambulances were similar, but had windows on the side. You might spot an old ambulance on an episode of "Emergency". Eventually they went to the box style of ambulance.
Great job with the copyrighted music removal. Go Pixel 8 Pro! Thanks for the auto show tour. Ford paid for my charger installation through Qmerit for my Mach-E. It should be standard for all buyers though.
39:35 - You can tell it's the long wheelbase because it's 3-row. The European models are only 2-row, the North American models are only 3-row. Great they have the 3-row there! At Fully Charged Live they only had the 2-row Euro-spec.
37:55 - not too fussed about the Hearse appearance (people have been saying that since the 4th Gen/2011 Odyssey Minivan) but what's with the 3-tone paint...? that silver rocker panel is gonna make me lose my sh!t. either paint it black or paint it body color like everyone else.
I have been going to the LA Auto show for 30 years, except during the pandemic. Post-pandemic, the LA AutoShow is now a shadow of what it used to be. So many manufacturers no longer exhibit. The concept cars used to be common and are now a rarity. I hope this is only a temporary situtation.
I hope so too. I think auto shows serve a really important purpose of providing people with access and freedom to explore vehicles in one easy place. I hope this Show grows back to its former glory - Liv
Hyundai N-Line is not the same as N. N-Line is just a performance trim with no real increase in performance. N is like the M BMW performance division. Sad to see you covered very little of the Ionic 5N which to me is the most exciting BEV since ever.
It's an exciting vehicle, I agree! We really wanted to cover it. I actually reached out to Hyundai and tried to get into their press event for this the previous night but they didn't bite. We would have loved to be there and cover this since they did a deep dive at their private event. In this tour video, we try not to spend too long on any one vehicle but we definitely would have loved to cover this properly too. - Liv
23:47 - It's hilarious to me that Nissan will keep selling the Leaf even after they've transitioned to NACS. "See, we told you CHAdeMO would outlast CCS…."
I do. They're a popular option and it would be good for people to have easy access to them there. They were actually there in the form of test rides/drives in the test ride area but we didn't go out there - Liv
Been waiting for this one! That bug-eyed Rally Mach-E is cray-cray! I'm sad that Ford is dropping the CA Route 1 model. Yes, gotta have "grabbies," Liv! I hate that my Model 3 doesn't have them: my next EV will! Frankly, I'm not that keen on automakers prioritizing 7-seat behemoths. Haha! EVgoat! Like these? ua-cam.com/video/iT1oRCNiuk0/v-deo.html I think the Ioniq 5 N's intrusive console is awful compared to the sliding one in the Limited model -which I predict would be much easier for Liv to drive. The Disney edition is "cute," but I'd be embarrassed to own one. Forget the H2 cars: they're too energy inefficient. Waste not, want not. I don't think Genesis is continuing with the GV60's green color; they really are nice, however: lots of whiz-bang features, like massage seats. I think GM has hit the brakes on its EVs, and now needs to romp on the accelerator. Can't stand the interiors of the BZ4X and Solterra. Tsk. The Honda Prelude looks good. I agree on that hearse look! The Pebble is fascinating. I just wish they come out with a smaller version for just a camping couple.
Hahah adorable goats. Ya you're totally right about the interior of the Ioniq 5 OG vs N. We really need to spend some time in the OG model and give it a good run through. - Liv
The design of these electric cars is too outdated, no different from ICE. To see the electric cars currently on display at the Guangzhou Auto Show. It's like a car from two centuries lol
The Mach-E Rally looks pretty awesome.
I totally thought hearse before you even said it. So yes, it reminds me of a hearse.
Omg what a great walk-through! Inspired to do the same for when the Chicago Auto Show happens!
Thanks Merchy! Yasss do it! Would love to watch your walkthrough! - Liv
Acura ZDX reminded me of a hearse right before you shared your comment.
hahaha whew glad we aren't the only ones - Liv
I know a lot of people support Toyota’s “Beyond Zero” movement, but it’s really a load of greenwashing. 1 EV in a lineup of combustion vehicles.
Yeah Toyota is a joke.
Ooh, I wish i could get a grabber yellow Mach-e. One can dream.
I know right?!💛 - Liv
Agreed. I definitely see hearse styling in that Acura ZDX.
Great video. Thank you should have been 4 separate videos

The Audio Eraser is a great feature and so easy! And this was our first video in HDR thanks to Pixel 8 Pro.
10:38 - damn clever bit of marketing. who needs pricey Super Bowl commercials when you think up something like that.👌
That Tjin Safari looks like it's the same color as my mom's original Barbie Austin Healey convertible.
Glad to see all the EV at the show!
🤢
It was a really good tour around the auto show! You are so considerate of others. Great job!
Aw thanks Macsterguy! - Liv
I see a hearst 😂

GV70 EV is a mini Bentley. Love it too
100% the Acura looks like a hurst

They should make a Audi Q8 rally truck
That would be sick!

Acura made an electric hearse!! No thanks 🙅🏻♂️

Yes, the ZDX looks stupidly like a hearse and the other Honda is as boring as the Solterra.
Really don't like any of the colors VW uses on the seats of the ID. Buzz. Hope the U.S. version has something different - and a leather option.
Do you think Tesla should be at auto shows?
I do. They're a popular option and it would be good for people to have easy access to them there. They were actually there in the form of test rides/drives in the test ride area but we didn't go out there - Liv
Seems Bmw, Benz, Audi are giving up LA. Wonder what is going on 😂

Evs are expensive to operate it cost ,17.00 per gallon verses 5.00 a gallon for ice vehicles.
Keep believing that. I pay about $100 per month for my solar panels and that provides enough electricity for my house and all of my driving.
