- Hey everyone, so I have finished Xenoblade 3 and like all Xenoblade games there were some very funny moments, so I thought I'd put a bunch of them together in this video, like I've done with other games.
And I have plenty of clips left over, so will definitely be doing a part 2!

I nearly fell off my couch laughing when I saw that in the affinity chart, meaning Bitchqueen can be considered a real word.
Yea, I thought there would be some word/term to describe their relationship in the Affinity Chart. But instead, they just put bitchqueen, the most straightforward description 🤣
But in the end, this is no longer there when their relationship started to get better

The fact that the entire party is around by chapter 1 really helps with the chemistry that they have with each other as they spend more time together. As opposed to when you have characters joining half way through and end up feeling under developed by the end.
Yeah I agree, there were quite a few bonding moments early on that set the characters up well.
Nah nah man, these characters are around from the start but they start having deep coversations alling the way, as appose of bringing characters and devoting a chapter to them, both can be efective, just make the characters interacr
100% this..not entirely done but i hope the party is together almost all the time.. splitting the party up for narrative reason can be a lot
@@seankock7649 I agree. There's nothing wrong with Zeke or Morag being introduced late into the game, specifically Zeke, but I think those 2 got some characterization. I just really wish they'd interact more outside of specific heart to hearts. Out of the cast though I feel Morag was the one that needed more development.

I love that Sena and Lanz are so quick to just buddy up as Muscle Bros while Eunie and Taion are still bitching at each other until half way through the game lol
That's just how they flirt.
And then we have Noah and Mio who have practically reached 3rd base after exchanging names.
@@rowletthejowlet6241 Well, I suppose it's not that hard when you have a damn near instinctive roadmap on how to navigate the base paths after God knows how many lives together.
@@rowletthejowlet6241the camping scenes are great story telling. Sena often does pushup with Manana sitting in top, soon after Lanz does the same with Riku on top. This happens as early as chapter 2. Then after Taion gave tea to Eunie, you see them drinking it together in the camp, and after chapter 6 Noah and Mio plays happy tune with their flute but before that they only play alone with much more somber tone because both learned in the city that music can be used for happiness.
I also find it sweet that Noah and Lanz often sit leaning on each other’s back, because they are great buddies from training. Wordless storytelling is of the highest quality in this game.
Nia was amazingly written. It was such fun to see her struggling keeping up that "behaviour" but when noones around, she goes full welsh mode
She's got less then 2 hours of screen time but they still brought her up well

03:05 I've played many JRPGs over the years, and never before have I witnessed a character get sucker punched mid maniacal villain monologue. The world needs more moments like this.

8:25 is probably my favorite moment of the entire game. Nia finally gets called out and just goes full-on welsh
Nia was by far my favourite character in XC2 and one of my favourite characters in all of media, so hearing her acting like herself again gave me the biggest dumbest grin on my face

Second biggest smile this game gave me was Nia dropping the act finally.
Biggest smile was Poppi.
Wanted to see more of nia being herself but eh I can't complain too much 😂
3:10 The one weakness of villains prone to gloating: the Shut-the-Fuck-Up Punch
Android 17 did it in the ToP too and I’m glad he did.

Honestly though in the millisecond before the punch connects you can actually see the look of pure surprise on their face. As if they're thinking 'I looked away for one second and now I'm getting punched?'
Mio punching the interlinked Moebius characters is fucking hilarious every time. I'll never get tired of it.
I know now to not tick her off.

One of my favorite moments honestly--
Not only did she interrupt the villain's gloating monologue (fantastic by itself) but she did so *unarmed*, and didn't just make them flinch she sends *an interlinked moebius* fucking *flying*
like god *DAMN* girl, where was this strength when we were getting chased by the giant gorilla not all that long ago? LOL

My favorite thing about that mio punch is that in a line, I forget whether it's a camp convo or a side quest one. Lanz mentions that the agnians are way stronger than the kevesi and kevesi have to compensate with their gear. I figured it was just cause they could use ether more efficiently on account of them being part blade. But mio proves that it's just raw bloody strength.
Yeah I remember that also, but my god that punch had some major power behind it 😂

Agnis and Keves are made up of Races from Bionie and Alrest Agnus coming from Alrest Which I thought on the map I mostly have blades and humans while Keves has high Entia and Machina along with Homs/Humans Mio appears to be a blade And the game appears to be hinting she is Rex and Nia’s daughter so….yeah
Or just pure anime moment. Sure she aced her military training but that was just something else😅

So many times during this game I was smiling like an idiot, the amount of chemistry this cast has truly is amazing. Eunie & Lanz had me laughing constantly.
I really needed a game like this right now, it’s just the most fun I’ve had with a JRPG perhaps ever.
I can totally relate to this as well, it was a real feel good game, all Xenoblade games are to be fair.
What a brilliant trilogy!

This game is a masterclass on writing characters
I think the the best moment in the game is when the doc asks who wants to know how babies are made.

Also a great thing to note about that: Riku and Manana both raise their hands despite Nopon not following the same life cycle as the humans birthed from pods. This implies that Nopon, for some reason, don’t reproduce sexually and somehow don’t know how sexual reproduction works
@@brandonhughes4076 Really can just mean they have no idea how humans actually do it. After all, most Nopon in XC3 would only have exposure to the capsule birthed humans.
2:15 that note she held on “spin” was short but perfect.
3:05 the best part about this monologue is that mio punches them without interlinking. She's so pissed off that she can punch a being much larger than her multiple feet, with just fists.
There's a cutscene early in the game where Lanz talks about how Sena can carry her huge hammer despite not needing a power frame which is basically what those blue glowing circle accessories on the Kevesians are. So Agnusian (?) soldiers are naturally physically stronger maybe because they're mixed with Blades and have core crystals on them, at least Sena and Mio have.

@@freshlymemed5680 most agnians have some indication of being at least part blade, whether they have core crystals, markings, or crystalline growths somewhere on them.

TBF It's highly likely they'll meet, Mythra is her best friend's mother-in-law.
Tho in all fairness I bet Eunie'd get along with Nia a LOT better.

Mio punching an Interlinked Moebius in the face mid-gloat is in contention for my favorite moment in any video game.

I like the part at the beginning of chapter 6 where x asks where Noah got the sword and riku gives the eyebrow raise.
Can we all agree ghondor would’ve been 10x better if she were a nopon?
That would have been hilarious 😂 they probably thought about it to be fair, but wanted her to be Monica's daughter I guess.
I still really liked Ghondor though, the way she sat there with her two henchmen 😆
Ghondor is the worst character in the game, I don't think noponizing her could fix that.

Ghondor at the very least can walk the walk and take responsibility. When ouroboros basically sacrifice themselves to get Ghondor out, she tries to mobilize everything she can to repay them. Even if her attitude gets annoying, she proves to be a capable leader, even staying around and helping out the Agnus castle folk. And she’s intimidating enough that the prison guards refuse to mess with her.
Valdi is none of those things. He is a bad commander who abandons his colony. He barely (actually he might never) thanks the party for their assistance. He ignores every responsibility as commander and throws it onto his poor lieutenant until the party specifically calls him out for it. The colony 30 nopon are irresponsible because Valdi cannot hold them accountable. Heck, even his “act of defiance” against the consul gets nothing done, and it just makes him a damsel in distress. He causes nothing but problems and suffers no repercussions for his actions.
If you switch to Japanese voices, ghondor’s voice is very different, and that might make you hate her less.
5:06 Sena , you literally fused with the guy that swears the most in the game ! ( in the main story alone Lanz swore 48 times , Eunie 39 and Ghondor 38 )
In Lanz's defense, Ghondor got a lot of swearing done in just 2 and a half chapters compared to his 7. Also, are you counting all the "Queen's [placeholder]" as swearing? I think that would be appropriate. :)

No, you're not, but in the name of fairness, I find her adorable every second of every day so...
3:10 Mio takes more after her dad in the personality department, but you can see some traces of her mum in moments like this.
Nia and Mythra would be the ones to ask if the their kid won if the kid got into a fight

After the spoon scene I called my sister a “Fucking Spoon” and she was surprised and confused and a little offended (despite not knowing what I meant) but laughed it off after I explained lol

One of my favourite things about the Xenoblade franchise is how much British slang it's taught to other countries. "Can't tell your arse from your elbow" is a great turn of phrase and it's criminal that only we use it

It's hard for me to choose my favourite, all 6 are amazing in my eyes!
Character dynamics are pretty strong in this cast. The voices sell it.
And the returning characters are a sight and sound for sore eyes and ears.
For such an emotional game, Xenoblade 3 is very funny.
If you wanna make someone cry you first have to make them laugh
Chapter 5 is what makes the game emotional the most.

When the spider like creatures showed up in the Urayan Tunnels by the elevator, I was like “Oh great, more spider creatures” because I have a bit of arachnophobia and Manana took them out in the cutscene, I was thankful that I didn’t have to fight those guys

I can’t blame you; Arachno have a tendency to be problems in Xenoblade (glares at the Arachno Queen in Tephra Cave).
Whenever I see the Antols (especially the bigger ones) they make me shudder and/or cringe in fear. especially, *ESPEIALLY* ones that appear by dropping by a thread or climbing up or down even if I clearly expect them after rewatching a Let's Play of the original game and later owning a copy of the Definitive version.

I've played XC3 exclusively in JP dub until now... Never knew Riku sounded like a salarian born in bloody Kensington

The moments when Nia's true way of speech came out were definitely my favorite ones
Yeah, same for me, I just wish she had a few more of those moments, at least one at the end of her ascension quest. I remember only the one in this video with Melia, and then when the party goes to recruit her and catch her humming and being all happy with her old clothes.
It's been eight months and I'm still not over "Let's thrash these goons, Melia"
I never understood why this series uses UK accents, but it definitely enhances the comedy, and yet somehow doesn't take away from the more serious scenes

The reason why is bc Nintendo of Europe localizes the Xenoblade games and not Nintendo of America I think bc Nintendo of America didn’t want to bother with Xenoblade with the first game so Nintendo of Europe did and it just stuck that way since. Which explains the accents

Honestly, I can't make up my mind if Sena or Eunie's my favorite character in this game.
Most of the comedic moments have Eunie and Lanz in them, which is very expected hahaha.
Supporting/Side characters that are funny are Ghondor, Triton, Ashera and Nia

@@Tharja-iBW No. If that were the case, Ghondor would be born earliest when Monica was 16 and 3/4. That plus Ghondors 18 years equals 34 and 3/4. So the age when she conceived her child is most likely 15 but could also range down to 14 and 1/4…
But now you got me looking into this a little more:
We have Garrett (50) and his daughter Joulietta (19).
Joulietta is trying to marry Romero (19).
Mei (23) and Mizuki (27) just got married.
Boomer (70) has a grandchild neon (7).
Clara (63) has a grandchild, cory (24), which makes her a grandma with 39.
This all looks „fine“ to me, compared to monica. It just feels like to me, that she should have been in her 40‘s anyway. (I feel line its a typo and she should be 43🤷).
oh yeah, and Gray‘s (60) wife, Rozana, is only 30 🤷 Though i havent played his ascension quest yet, so i dont know if they are a normal couple.
