- Hey everyone, so I have finished Xenoblade 3 and like all Xenoblade games there were some very funny moments, so I thought I'd put a bunch of them together in this video, like I've done with other games. This is part 2!

Definitely up there, I was glad that he didn't die and even joined the party.
Plus his mechanic is pretty game changing.

I don't think I've done that one yet, so it probably won't be in my next funny moments video , but should be in the one after 👍😆
Triton is just a fusion of a bunch of character types i love. He’s a pirate, he’s a member of the enemy faction that’s actually a good guy, he’s a silly old man, and he’s funny. Honestly, what’s not to love about him?
I a huge grin for the entirety of his hero quest, I just love him so much!
@@breakfastsquad9871 Triton is by far my Favorite hero. His ascension quest is top notch too. It helps that his class is one of the strongest classes in the entire game.
Seeing Nia, Queen of Agnus acting like her old self had me smiling so so much.
“Oh it’s been so flipping long! Uh eh what I mean to say is....ughhh forget it.”
She’s terrible at keeping up the facade I love it 😭
"SCORE! Uh, what I mean is, what good fortune!"
She’s still the Nia we loved back in Alrest.
Makes me wonder what happened to the rest of the alrest crew.

Found this out, but Triton's VA is the same person that announces the "Driver Combo Orbs" from Xenoblade 2

Lmao wow that's actually cool honestly voicing those combos also suits his personality minus the obvious pirate speech but either way I can just imagine him in Colony 15 just playing xenoblade 2 and making those announcements as he makes the combos
The moment Nia woke up and she started going off, I started laughing so hard. I'm so glad she's still the same Welsh cat from 2.
The very first ouch she did when she awoke was already the same nia
It’s even funnier see Nia trying to act like a queen and the party is “WOOOW she’s to wise, she knows everything” when you know how she really is thanks to Xenoblade 2, I love how she says “Nia old fox” 🤣
Maybe I'm reading too far into it, but did that line confirm that Nia was not an actual cat but rather a fox disguised as a cat?
@@angeldude101 A: blades are weird. The form of Nia we see now likely closely resembles what she truly looks like, however even that form likely isn’t what she was awoken as… due to reasons…
Also the moment they tried to make us think they killed Nia I was like “Pfffft no shes fucking fine. Not only is that *not* where her heart is… but she’s one step away from *wolverine*. She’s gonna get up either midway through the fight or immediately after like ‘Owwwwwwww’”
Which is exactly what happened
@@jakehamilton4053 Between her being Flesh Eater letting her live unbound to a Driver and her powers as the _Lifesage,_ Nia is pretty much one of the most immortal characters in Xenoblade. Even if becoming a Flesh Eater hurts their natural regeneration, Nia's boosted healing abilities pretty much make said regeneration obsolete.
In a game about "Life," you can bet someone called "Lifesage" would be pretty dang important. I also personally referred to her in Xenoblade 2 as the "Goddess of Life" when giving various Blades divine titles.
@@angeldude101 so this might or might not be related, so take it with a grain of salt, but in Vietnamese, we have a saying that roughly translated to "old cats turn into foxes," which is essentially the equivalent to the saying "old birds are not caught with chaff" in English. On one hand, Asian cultures are relatively similar, so there might be something there. On the other hand, I have not actually found directly translated idioms to that effect in other Asian languages. So, again, just take it as a bit of a fun fact.
I think they played the party reaction joke with 10 seconds of affirmation and gasping each time two too many times.

@@MrMarvell Triton ascension quest started rather weirdly. You need him in the party and at the camp you must give the party Manana's battle soup. It is weirdly repeating the past, all I can say is the story on that quest are basically food before bros.
I mean lanz has 15 tp for a reason. He and sena both do.

I love how there’s an entire cutscene based on the characters ordering burritos.
They’re probably more like crepes considering Taion was listing both sweet and savory ingredients when he was trying to decide what to order.

My friend told me that triton actually didn't forget how to transform, it's just an excuse for not doing it because the transformation takes other's life energy. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I think it's kind of a fit to triton.

What is even funnier is that both the reason Triton gave (he forgot how to) and your theory (lies so he won't hurt his crew) are in character for Triton. He is capable of both.
You know, it’s not until you say it that I realize how Triton is far more intelligent than he seems. So him holding back is possible, especially seeing his Hero Order might possibly be him holding back
He probably just didn't want to use it, then forgot how because he never used it.
I love Triton, a moebius that denounces their eternal life after seeing so many soldiers passed is so good.
Eunie was literally the life of the party haha
Eunie would pick bar fights whenever she got the chance and still win after downing a few pints. She just has that energy.
Triton in general is such a fantastic character, and his whole intro just threw me for a total loop the first time I saw it
Man I wish we'd gotten more of sena out of this game, just the whole party in general honestly, I really miss heart to hearts.
Heart to hearts would have been amazing!
I really enjoyed the chats with Sena and Lanz and wanted more, but I guess a sign of a good game is when you want more 😃
@@MrMarvell there's so many person to person relationships I would have loved to explore more, rather than the whole party as a unit. Eunie and sena, Noah and Lanz being bros, Noah and mio talking one to one about little things. Eunie and mio, taion being more socially awkward. Ah, it would've been so good.
Yeah that's so true damn, well I know the expansion pass doesn't mention this sort of thing, but they might include some with each update, but maybe I'm grasping at straws haha
Especially after Chapter 5! It felt like there weren't any character moments between party members in the last two chapters and so they felt more...shallow? It's hard to put into words. Like the game decided that character development was done and so ran at a full sprint towards the ending.
@@Laterose15 yeah, and it doesn't help that the last mission before you enter the final major area is basically the wind waker go around the world collecting the things with like zero personality from the characters and the actual last area is a long as heck gauntlet to the final boss. The game is amazing but those last two chapters could have been better.
Triton is basically just a big Thames Captain reference from Xenogears and that makes me so goddamn happy.

I can't think of many moments where Taion isn't adorable, but that's just me.

The counsel of the sea is easily the best character in the game. The fact I knew what the joke was going to be the millisecond I saw him and still enjoyed every second of him is a testament to how amazing he is.

This Video game is an example of what peak game design is. Amazing story (has its faults, but those flaws don't take away from the overall narrative.) The combat is awesome. There is a certain spoilery weapon that is so op that battles with regular enemies can end in less than 3 seconds and it is so much fun to be the bringer of destruction to my enemies.

You get unique dialogue and it results into a draw, as both parties brought the same thing. Triton does claim his is bigger though and should've won

Yep. Everyone is born from a pod at around the equivalent of age 12 or so and then spend the rest of their lives which is exactly 10 years, fighting in constant war. Nobody has any concept of sex, family, or anything other than what's necessary to be a killing machine. Go to a beach in Europe and you'll quickly realize your way of thinking is an exception, not the norm. Play the game and you'll understand.
