One of the most interesting videos I've ever seen. I'll definitely use some of Cam's exercises as an inspiration for my gym sessions. Great job, thank you for the awesome insights!
Excellent video. The video analysis and back insights were incredible. Can’t help but think the back/pelvis problems started with the high mileage in college.
Everyone talking about the mask but why can’t we talk about the actual contents of the workout? I’ve been looking for good workouts for my lower back and I got a lot of different ideas to add to my routine
range of motion of this runner on that m.soleus press machine is quite minimal :D would be better to work the weak parts of ROM rather than fatigue more the same you use in the running sport...
The tech at the end is cool, lots to be desired in that workout routine though. Sexy exercises but he’s going to need some internal joint work rather than all the external stuff shown. (Moving joints in full range rather than so linear seeing as he runs over 200km a week already).
@@hassonmusic so all of this is with external load and in one exercise motion. Interval training is specifically focused on moving a joint as it’s designed in its full range. For example, instead of training hip internal rotation as one linear exercise, and an exercise for hip flexion separate, extension separate and so on, you work the hip in rotation as it’s designed. You might lift you leg up while standing into flexion while externally rotated, abduct the leg, then internally rotate and extend the leg behind you, whilst potentially having a weight strapped to the ankle. Hopefully that painted a good picture. This way the joint works in every degree possible, rather than just left right on exercise one, up down exercise 2 etc.
Dude had the national championships in a week and just in general, if Cam or one of his other Athletes get sick, even just from a cold, that can mean no paycheque, loss of sponsors etc etc, just for missing a race.
@@ryanfriedel8788 so you mean like he will have to wear a mask in any confined space when with other people? Isn't better to make sure your immune system is strong enough so can fight back and protect? The mask gives you only false sense of protection.
from 4:48 to 5:44 you can see what an amazing athlete he is. total control of the body not the slightest movement.
😂
Cam has so much control, he even managed to control time and pause it.
I thought my net was slow, I had to call customer service for it LOL
This was one of the best videos yet!! Just awesome information for us normal runners!!
Information demonstrated here is priceless! Thanks to all for this! Go Cam!
is there a glitch at 5:30 mark? screen is just frozen or is it just me

BRAVO! Fantastic video. So valuable to have this kind of access to these two men who are both at the top of their games.
Incredible insight. It's also very hopeful that even top athletes bodies are not perfect and use different strategies to get forward!
Crazy depth and very insightful! Thanks!

I would love to see more Gym sessions of different Athletes 😊
Wow, great video! Those contractions in the calves around minute 17 are crazy. What a physique.
Very interesting to learn about all those tests and different exercises. This is a video to be rewatched. Thanks!

Analysing the spine in motion and then creating a tailored gym plan to compensate for the actual defects in his running form. Insane
Wow - what an amazing biomechanical analysis - awesome to see how that's incorporated into his specific program too
I have no words how good this was! Ty sweat elite!! Keep the good worck!
25:50 Oh my God. That is AMAZING! The level of detail and pinpoint accuracy in targeting any movement. Holy crap.😮
Awesome video and an amazing compilation of exercises and how to sequence them
Def one of the most interesting videos you have done. Amazing content and insight into what elite runners actually do !!!
A videos about his nutrition would be awesome☝️
Love!!!!! More of this gym stuff please!
Great video. Really in depth
Fantastic stuff, love Cam
Saved. Absolute gold!
Hugely informative. Let down slightly by poor audio. No radio mic? Keep up the great work!
Awsome video, dose anyone know what that software is that they use for the analysis? Where to get it or anything similar?

"This is the only machine we have" - 11:48 huge second machine...
whats that blue rectangle he's standing on around the 11 minute mark and where can I get one?
lol at the number of average joes in this comment section coming after a high performance athlete for wearing a mask
Fantastic presentation!!
Great video👌Thanks
Hello, should a warmup be done before the pre-workout mobility exercises, not sure if the mobility itself is a complete enough warmup. Thank you.
Is their running lab open to amateurs? Can one just book a consultation and detailed running style analysis with David ?
Waiting for that information too.

That KB is too much weight for him on the RDL.

When is the athlete special due to?
Wow
serious 👀
Cam probably caught a little cold so he's trying to keep from spreading it around.
You are probably so disconnected that you don't know long Covid? Cam is very cautious.
He's a week out from the Ottawa 10k race. He's clever to stay safe!

Wearing a mask with 2 other healthy people in a huge room in May 2023 as an elite athlete. Truly unreal! 😂

@@ryanfriedel8788 and you think that mask is going to prevent all that? Tell me more about how you’ve been paying 0 attention to “the science”.
Wait, are you seriously shaming an elite athlete for doing all they can to keep theirselves healthy?

I hope this is not the actual training because this, by literature, it's a waste of time. Unless the time in the gym it's recovery time.
the mask "come on man" lmao
that is easy to understand. As everybody who has a friend with long Covid knows.

Mask on, mask off
