Most Carlos Santos lasts are a little oversized and you need to size down by a half, though I'm not familiar with this particular last. The Vibram Vi lite is one of my favourite soles for everyday use, Very lightweight and surprisingly hard wearing but it still manages to maintain a fairly low profile. I do find it a little shallow for proper mud plugging but certainly more than adequate for inclement weather and muddy fields etc. Regarding Carlos Santos, they punch well above their weight for the price (due to lower labour costs in Portugal) and currently owning four pairs of their bench grade boots (plus a couple of pairs of shoes ) I would put them at the level of the very best Barkers or standard Cheaneys though they do tend to be a little less substantial in build than the traditional English style. They also do a hand grade range that I haven't tried but are supposed to be very good indeed with closed channel stitching. That range though is mainly dress shoes
At this point Herring Shoes should be paying you, if they're not already! Those look very nice except I feel like they've left out one set of speedhooks. Lots of nice stuff coming out of Portugal these days. I wonder if that's C.F. Stead suede?
Am I colorblind? That looks brown to me, not dark green.
It is a fairly earthy green, but definitely green, it can be a challenge to get great colour under LED lighting
