    Today's episode will be... glum.
    Let's just say, through a number of events Shirou and Rin go through today, they have to be pretty open with one another in their most vulnerable states.
    Sorry to have you guys waiting on Part 29, but we gotta go through two Bad Ends tomorrow first!
    =============================================================
    SPOILERS FOR TODAY'S EPISODE AHEAD
    =============================================================
    Wow, you gotta feel bad for Rin after this one, she really went through an
    entire whirlwind worth of emotions here.
    Immediately going into battle after learning more about Archer's tragic history, hoping there was even a chance at stopping Caster here. Then after that, being betrayed by Archer at such a pivotal moment. Then, when all hope is lost, seeing the wounded Shirou come out of nowhere to save her as Kuzuki's about to kill her.
    The "...It's more painful for you, right?" from Shirou at 1:07:59 really solidified my thoughts here.
    Looking back around this point too, she also mentions how the entire town's being sacrificed here too because she didn't do anything about Caster early on.
    I suppose I'm trying to say that I don't envy her position, that was a lot for anyone to go through in that short amount of time.
    I'm going to be speeding up my pace regarding UBW's episodes in preparation for the upcoming Silent Hill 2 Remake on October 5th, so expect both Bad End 21 and 22 to be coming out later today!
    Thank you for your patience!

    Even if it wasn't mentioned, its implied that the wedding dress of Saber could be actually a Mystic code based in the poisoned gown of Medea.
    The same poisoned gown that Medea gave as "wedding gift" to Jason's future wife, as revenge for abandoned the former princess of Colchis, leading to that the bride ended dying.
    Meaning that the wedding dress was actually harming and weakening Saber even more, that adding the Command Spell and the awkward posture, implied a brutal torture for Saber 😢

      Thanks for that bit of lore, I have to add reading up on the history of the Argonauts to the list of things to do.
      Going back to our chat from the other day, maybe that could be another reason why Saber was so subservient to Caster in Bad End #20.
      We can't say for sure how long it took for Team Caster to get the Holy Grail, but maybe at that point, it had been long enough to mentally and physically break Saber using the Command Spell and the poisoned dress?
      Some extra lore that I may look into and also recommend to you as well, Medea's lore gets expanded a bit in Fate/Grand Order with Medea Lily, her younger, more naive self. It shouldn't change the intentions of what was originally written here, but perhaps Medea could see bits of her old self in Saber, adding to why she's fixated on breaking her.

      @@BackloggedYGO Well, regarding Bad end #20, to consider that Shirou "joined" willing to Caster, as theory, maybe Saber was more willing to obeys Caster in this bad ending, as her original Master pledged loyalty to Medea, making that Saber hadn't the same will force and interest to defies Caster like in the normal timeline of UBW, as Shirou and Caster "belongs to the same team".
      Making me think that if Saber was more willing, albeit reluctance to obeys Caster, perhaps Medea hadn't even need to torture Artoria to makes her obedient. Though that maybe Caster still spent one Command Spell on Saber, to keep a leashes on her, in case that Artoria could tries to disobeys her or attack her in retaliation. At least as theory.
      And regarding the reasons to that Medea is obsessed with Artoria, i agreed that perhaps it could be because she see her reflection in Artoria; a royalty member that had to deals with hardships and tragedies.
      Though that while Medea ended disgraced and as outcast, Artoria ended dying with honor, fighting until her last breath for Camelot, making me think that maybe the reasons to that Medea want to tries break Artoria, is that she harbor envy for Saber, making that the witch want to put Saber to her own level, like a betrayer and a disgraced royal member.

    You mentioned to another poster of looking up medeas backstory and researching. Don't bother. Hollow ataraxia wil give you absolutely everything you need that was not explained in FSN for almost all servants. Its such a peak game

      I'm for sure getting Hollow Ataraxia when it comes out, I wasn't sure since I heard it was more fanservice, so I wasn't sure plot-wise.

      @@BackloggedYGO yeah it has tons of great fanservice but I can promise you there is an underlying plot
