Group Gravel Bike ride with the buds. We start on Mount Hood and descend all the way down to the flats of Dufur Oregon. Eat some snacks and head right back up the mountain. Is this drop bar mountain biking? Gravel bike Riding? All road? Groad? Either way it was one hell of a good time. Cycling, single track adventure with plenty of humor to keep us going. How does the Jena climb by the way? Porky or responsive?
Fender time is coming! And a dynamo is not the worst choice for winter rides. It took me years to put a dynamo on my Trek 520 but since it's been installed I really enjoy long rides and don't care about dusk etc.

The few that ride gravel in this area are roadies that use it for training and when they passed you they dont even say "hello" (and we are in the middle of nowhere!).

Whatever I wear, my feet and palms last an hour, maybe two in the cold. Getting going after every break is always painfully cold. It's under 2 hour rides season.
Iodine is added to table salt because many of us have too little of it in our daily diet. It was one of the first diet supplements.
