My numbers for 2020: 10,662 miles. 48 century rides two of which were double centuries. Not much elevation in the South Carolina lowcountry. Here's to 2021. ☮
Hey Dustin! I just wanted to say thank you, I discovered gravel biking this year because of your videos. I had only ever ridden crappy department store "mountain bikes" before this and never really got stoked on the whole cycling thing. It was just after you posted the video on the fox gravel shock that I started playing around with the idea of getting back into cycling. So, after a ton of research and self debate, I went out and found a used gravel bike and started riding it. 2 months later I went on to ride 75km for charity and have been getting in as much rides as I could ever since! All because of one video I happened to stumble upon. Wishing you a happy new year and much more awesome rides in 2021! -Steve from Niagara falls, Canada
My Strava year by the numbers. My first full year cycling. 233 hours 2084.3 miles 39,509 feet of elevation-not bad for southern New Jersey. 146 days active Longest ride 63 miles Have a happy new year 🎊
And by the numbers ...277 days active , 512 hours , 8,335 miles and 120k of elevation.... live in one of the flattest states (Illinois ) ... but thank you DK for the awesome content you provide us all !! Actually my beautiful wife is a fan 😂 HAPPY NEW YEAR
I got a used road/gravel bike in August and started bike-commuting again. That slowed down because winter, but I've been riding any chance I get. My 2020, by the numbers: 33 hours, 372 miles and 6,950 ft of elevation. Looking forward to many more next year. *Edited to add: Thanks Dustin for the awesome and inspiring content. A lot of us turned to or went back to cycling as a distraction from 2020's woes. Content creators like you made our days much more enjoyable and motivated our bike adventures. All the work you put into your videos is much appreciated!
What a great way to end the year. Thanks brother. This year I put down 2413 miles and 102,000 ft of elevation on the bike. Started running this month and have logged about 70 miles of trail running. Those 70 miles were infinitely harder than all 2400 on the bike.
My year by the numbers, well I wanted 5000 kms but because of a dodgy knee and a Christmas fever I fell short by 145 km!! So 4,865 kms, 273 hours, and 26,674 m of elevation. And Dustin I just want to say the youtube highlight of my year was discovering you, great content mate. I love your rides, but please more camper van adventures also! Happy New year from the Englishman in Poland.
I had a great year (for me)! Ride by the numbers... 459 hours, 4,703 miles & 346,361 feet of elevation... Whoo Hoo! Thanks for all the fun inspiration. Let's get it in 2021! Happy New Year!
Dude, I have been watching you for more than two years. This last ride reconfirmed my interest. You guys are in the flow. Best wishes on the new year. I just got back to Finland and there is plenty of snow now. I last (two winters ago) used the Continental Crossride 42s, snow on top of ice, no problem. Scott Addict 20 Gravel easily accommodates them. Only drawback to this sporty bike is no fittings for fenders. BBB neoprene shoe covers a must. Lobster claw gloves, Castelli Nanoflex bibs + 2nd layer long tights. I rode in temp. as low as -8 C. You guys have it too easy. Finland is too flat but farm roads w/o any traffic, old growth forests and pure lakes everywhere. Lucky me. Peace and adventures, guys. Ride, ride, ride.
I rode 2090 miles this year (pretty much all off road). Really pleased with that as did about 500 last year. A small victory in a pretty crappy year. Will ride all of next year in my cool protagonist t shirt!
I can’t wait for your 2021 content. I was able to reach 2,800 miles with 86,000 feet of beautiful elevation this year. You have been a big inspiration!
Cheers to you Dustin - Happy New Year my Zwift numbers were 1,687 miles, 123,950 feet of climb...connected to Strava late in the year 831.6 miles, 66,393 feet of climb and a partridge in a pear tree (you normally have to pay extra for that). A toast...and then we jam.
5:03 "dates and almonds" -n- pocket pizza ... and that (momentary) look of disgust on Ron's face w/ the tequila -n- cheese comparison .... F'n priceless. All the Very Best to You in 2021. Thanks for the positive (ride'n) vibes 😎🌠💛
Dustin, as always fabulous. Nice ride. I had 3721.8 miles in 2020, it was cut about 200 miles short by a freak collision with a car at the start of December. And amazingly 194,072 elevation, 99.8% in Delaware. Safe riding my friend.
Happy New Year to you Dustin, and the gang. My numbers. (-: Retired, 69 yr old , 2020, post major health blah blah, and surgery year, rode all year till 10 days ago, didn't die. Here's to life on two wheels.
Fell short of my goal but 189 hours, 2877 miles, 86,235' Joined MN Randonneurs group at the beginning of the year and was hoping for some big rides but only got in one with them before everything was shut down. Hoping for more miles and smiles in 2021. Cheers and happy new year!
Thank you for your hard work this year producing great content... it has provided something for my daughter and I to look forward to watching together, fostering meaningful conversations.
Nice elevation. I wasn't too hot this year: 3,225mi, 111,998ft of elevation. Good to see a Breadwinner in the mix there. I have an Aufderheide (canti tourer). Happy New Year.
Wow, that's some real commitment my year by the numbers: 307h16m, 4553.8miles, 107,377 feet. No tours, no big gravel rides, and no commuting. Here's to next year, with more rides, more smiles, and more good times.
Crotch Pocket for the win!! We had a super slush-fest in Spokane, so I rolled out 100 miles doing neighborhood laps on main streets because everything else was super slushed in. I came up with 6300 on the nose for the year and 44 miles short on the Rapha Festive 500. Crab legs and cheesecake at the 7PM feed station did me in.
Thanks Dustin for all the amazing stuff you do. This channel is my favorite 2020 discovery after I got a bike for lockdown in Singapore. 2020 by the numbers: 360H 24M, 5,289MI, 176,115FT
Happy New Year Dustin! my ride by the numbers are....... Distance : 4350 miles Time : 280h 18m Elevation : 219,152 ft. Looking forward to 2021 and riding all those miles again and again. and who knows maybe ill finally do a century myself ! cheers to many more!
Pretty much every ride there's a line that just cracks me up. From this video it has to be, "I came for the water, but stayed for the giardia"....... Classic 👍 Happy New Year to all you players, I look forward to following your adventures in 2021!
Hey Dustin, really enjoy your channel! Here are my cycling stats for the year according to Strava: rode 6,313 miles with 375,659 feet of elevation gain spread out over 306 rides and completed in 414 hours and 48 minutes. That basically breaks down to a whole bunch of 20 mile rides each containing about 1200 feet of elevation gain. Strava shows me active for 343 days, but that also includes just over 197 hours from some combination of running, hiking, and walking...
Happy new year Dustin! Great vid once again. Broke my ankle back in February and now recovering from compression fractures in my back from November... ugh 2020. Still knocked out 9,000mi!
My Last Day of the Year ride, about 70 km. On some roads I was not sure what I was riding on. Is it gravel road, or paved road covered in a layer of dirt? (Loggers). Frozen over in most parts of the route, thankfully. Muddy in other. Fallen trees, fallen branches in the woods (yes it was very windy recently). The bike rode like a dream. 3 inches, decently nobby. Happy New Year Everybody! Dustin, Thanks for this video. Outstanding!
Man I did it again! Lost all track of days! Thanks to all of you for keeping me sane this year - been a bit of a struggle at time but EBD/SOC etc has been a godsend. Thanks Dustin for great humour and content and all the ‘regulars’ - I’m having a beer before making sure 2020 has truly f*cked off! Happy New Year everyone! Ash x
Stoked to share and hold myself accountable for next year...gearing for 8k. 280 Days Active, 427 hrs, 5,659 miles (predominately track bike miles), 150,274FT!
Happy New year DK!!! Enjoyed the sht out of the video! Way entertaining as always!! Love love love my 17 Diverge. .... Wait What!!?? Was that a new S Works Diverge I saw? Oh, I didn't keep track of my miles but probably somewhere around 2000 Billy from Philly.
2020 Totals: 97 rides 214 hours 1,942 miles 160k elevation 100% on a fat bike. Makes the legs very strong. I think Tequila will be added to some rides in 21’... Fun video as usual.
5473 km, 93122m, 240h from Veloviewer ... not quite as I planned, but better than nothing and I had some quality rides. Looking for a better and healthy 2021 for everybody.
Awesome to get those last miles in before the new year. However, why the wider, nobbier tires? It was all paved roads...with some debris but nothing a road bike with 25 - 28 wouldn't be able to handle. I was expecting to see some gravel/trail riding mixed in the video. I guess it was mainly for comfort?
I now feel much more ‘normal’ about getting 150km in this week so I could get my Strava goal. Yeah, Oregon cyclists are a different bunch. Thanks for inspiring and entertaining.
Can't figure out how to tag you in Strave...but 2,688 miles, 160, 619 feet of elevation, 295 hours...56% cycling and 34% walking/hiking...all that and I weigh more now than when I started. Happy New Year!
hahaha awesome Dustin, I went out and did a gravel Fondo today just to hit my December strava challenges lol , as aways great videos man! Happy New year
It could be a great tool--for anyone who has ever bonked bad. You can push it and not worry about dropping at the end of the ride. Also, you can just cover more ground and have a more interesting ride. You can fly over bad/boring sections of your ride. It could be a great tool for cyclists who might be recovering from health issues or surgery. Could help them get back on their bike faster with an easier curve. I am curious how significant the increased feeling of speed is.
Ur vids doesnt appear on my notifications even I already turned on the notification bell, anyway great videos man, more power to you. Shoutout to all Filipino viewers 🇵🇭 Ride safe everyone!

New GoPro? It looked more stable than usual : ) even when going over the ob-stack-les.
I might be getting better?
My 2020 was 13430mi. 11 century rides and least number of care stops ever...not surprising!
