I really don't know who's my favorite character in the mummy, it's a tie between Jonathan and Rick. Rick has the strengths and techniques of a barbarian and while Jonathan is easily frightened sometimes, his goofy antics and knowledge of hieroglyphics saves the day.
They’re great with the little character moments, like when Jonathan grabs Rick’s guns. It’s such a Jonathan thing to do but it’s just a small moment. Really helps cement the characters’ personalities

Or not so randomly, mostly cuz it is introduced to a heat source (torch) or its very dry and ignites from rubbing heat ? With that short of a fuse it extremely dangerous to even ignite with a match, not to mention a torch.

i love how just the sound of a gunshot is enough for Evy to be like, its "O'Connell". Like shes gotten used to Rick constantly using his guns first for every occasion. Its a sweet moment when she realizes that Rick has come to "rescue the damsel in distress."
The scarab should have been covered in blood after coming out of Jonathan's shoulder. But this was '98 so they did the best they could with the tech they had. Probably was an over sight. I liked how even the humble Megi was in awe of the treasure room once it was illuminated.
