    I replaced the PCBA inside my LM2100 mower yesterday following this video. This video helped a lot, as there are a lot of steps involved and its hard to remember how exactly you took it apart. Unfortunately the PCBA is expensive, if it fails again I am thinking of putting in a generic DC motor controller that can work on say 60 volts.

      @@matterwin8635 Does a high lift blade extend run time as well as increase performance?

    Note for others- you will need a soldering iron to assemble the same as how it originally came. Otherwise, when you detach the pcb wires from the mower itself, cut the long red wire close to the old pcb so you have some wiggle room for your wirenuts/ whatever other method

    Hi Matt, I am trying to repair a lm2100 unit. When you try to activate the motor, it spins momentarily, then stops and the light blinks orange indicating overload. There is no obstruction to the blade. There is a troubleshooting video on this channel that gives 2 tests for the PCB. The first test is within spec. The second test, multi-meter on diode mode, negative lead to the black wire on the motor connector, and positive lead on the negative battery terminal give an open lead reading. technically that would be out of the acceptable range. But no reading at all has me concerned. Before I spend the money on a new PCB assembly, is there any other checks I need to run? Motor amp draw maybe? what should it be at what voltage?

    Hi Matt. I have got Ego Lm2100 for the last 5-6 years. I convert it to two blades from one blade because it was not picking up the grass in the grass collector. But now it was doing well with the only difference that it consumes more energy. Today suddenly when I was mowing the lawn suddenly smoke started coming out of it. After removing battery and after an hour when I tried to start, smoke startrd again. I thought that motor has burnt. Then I dissassembled it and found that motor was OK rather the electric circuit unit has burnt down and the wires leading to the motor burnt from the electric unit. Then I saw your video, which is for Ego Lm2100SP. I just researched for that electric unit for LM2100, which says ego electric assembly #2830119001. Should I replace this part to fix my lawn mower, because I don't know whether this is the correct part to be replaced. Please advise me if my lawn mower is fixed with this part whether I should stick to two blades or one blade. Thanks.

    Hello , can you tell me if the headlights are controlled by this PCB you have replaced please ?
    My headlights are stuck on.
    I’ve tried removing the battery hoping to reset everything but that hasn’t worked.
    I’m not sure if I need a new switch assembly or a new PCB A.

    Hi Matt, since the 2100 power unit is a bit expensive, I found the power unit of the 2100sp model on eBay for a better price. I'm wondering. If I install the 2100sp circuit board in the 2100 model and leave the self-propelled system sockets empty, will it still work?

      no the SP has the circuits to run the self propel.

    Would adding a fuse between the motor and PCBA help protect it? If so which color wire help (blue, yellow, brown)?

    • @matterwin8635
      @matterwin8635  Рік тому

      Wait wait don’t do that. Those are the motor control wire. Each one run a phase in the motor circuit. Doing that would not help. What issue are you having. Also this is a lm2100 brushed unit so what model are you working on

      @matterwin8635 SNT2110. I have to replace both BMS PCBA and Main PCBA and I was trying to figure out a way to try and prevent a voltage spike from destroying both sets again

      It's the snowblower. Which is different but similar.
