    i feel bad for the people that paid for this and got ripped off, i was sitting here watching this saying to myself that I cant wait to see what kind of base boards youre going to use to cover up the gap from the old ones. Sure enough you used the cheapest stick on plastic baseboard you could find, in some places its not even flush with the wall. Would love to see how much its going to cost the owner to remove this crap and put down proper flooring.

    if you make the paint can of part A slightly larger, part B fits in with it. then you do not need an extra bucket. if you put part B in a bottle then you do not need a special scraper. and if you take paint cans without a border you can easily take out all your paint.

    This could look good in one single colour. To me this "faux marble" look is indeed a bit too faux. I find this an interesting product though and I have a couple of questions:
    - Is it possible to create a hard line in between two solid colours (black and white for instance) instead of having them flow into each other?
    - Is it possible to make it look like a tiled floor?
    - Can it be used in combination with in-floor heating/cooling? What are the thermo-physical properties like R-value or lambda-value?
    - Would it be possible to use this on the risers (vertical plane) of a staircase, to create a continuous, flowing staircase where tread and riser become one element?
    - If used for a counter-top is it possible to create a drip, or rather anti-drip, edge?
    - Is this available in or do you ship to Europe?

    I think the effect y’all were going for should be in the title or the description or as a pinned comment. Was this supposed to be an Ariel shot of the sea/ ocean near Martha’s Vineyard or something specific like that? Because it almost looks like sea water but....the grey is ..unexpected. I'm just curious why you chose to roll out the matte finish coat instead of using a notch squeegee. I'm not second guessing or Monday Morning QB'ing. just curious. Wouldn't a notch squeegee give the uniform thickness and then back roll it to smooth it out? IDK,....just an old guy watching videos. LOL

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  Рік тому

      Hello! Our WB Urethane isn't designed to go on very thick. Our notched squeegee spreads the base coat of epoxy at the right thickness it needs to be to completely cover the substrate but the topcoat does not need to be that thick to be effective 👍 Check it out here if you'd like! 👇

    I too noticed how there were no footprints when you were stepping on it while applying. Why is that? It would get kind of hard not to step on it while doing it all at one time. Love how this style looks on counters and floors. If in the garage how would it hold up with say gas oils etc getting spilled on it?

      He is wearing spiked shoes so he does not track the epoxy everywhere. Our epoxy is 100% solid resin and cleans up very easy and can withstand oil, gas, etc.

    im confused does this replace the process of grinding? no one got in to depth on it. And was the base coat hardened already it looked like the grey was already dry. how long is the window with the base coat being on the floor.that you can throw another color in it.

    • @LeggariProducts

      Hello! In the case of this project, we did not shotblast the existing substrate like we would normally recommend but we did grind it lightly so a bond could be created between the substrate and our prep replacement primer. Learn more about this product here 👉 leggari.com/product/prep-replacement/. In some cases, our Prep Replacement is all you need to prep the floor well enough. And no, the base coat is not hardened when we add the highlights. It needs to be fluid to be able to blend the highlights. You have some time but simply want to get the highlights down and blended as quickly as possible for the best results. You can learn more about all of these products and floor kits here! 👉 leggari.com/order-flooring/#metallic-epoxy-kits Our youtube channel has many other epoxy floor videos that go more into depth
