Great tip on the window replacement. I had to replace the front middle on my old Lunar Clubman. It cost me £50 to get a guy to fit it.

Try ECCO Windows in Halifax, you may have to send them the old window for them to make the exact mould.
Nice to see an Elddis on the Pitch there is a lot that is good with Elddis Caravans compared to certain other brands.
I had a problem with windows dropping off a Trigano Rubis at quite a shallow angle. Cured it by gently peening over the top part of two of the hinges with a small hammer.
Mark do you have any tips on changing the white rubber trims on the back and front of the Bailey unicorns series 3 please, as on the Córdoba.
@@juliewebber5791 prima leisure do the soft rubber trims, these are easier to change than the hard plastic, it's just a case of working away slowly, if you spray some soapy water on the edge and on the trim this should help to start from the widest point and slide them on if possible, the only other way is to remove the bumper but that can be a nightmare. 👍

@@juliewebber5791 they can be a real pain, it's very tight between the body and bumper, but the bumper should have a bit of flex, which should give more room.

I watch nearly all your videos for the tips and know how,my daughter has just bought a compass rallye 490/4L 2001 with some issues, I need to do a repair to the front quarter as there was a leak I’ve been looking on the internet for the wall boarding for the colour and where to get the sheet , can you give me any advice as to the colour and where’s best to get the board

Possibly better to use a matching wood colour, the original boards won't be available and any copies will be out on colour. Some vans also used a fabric covered board in the 2 front corners, so if re doing curtains or upholstery, then matching corner panels in the same material would look good. A Google search for caravan wall boards, ebay etc it's normally the postage that's expensive, so maybe asking a local dealer what wall board they can get. Hope this helps 👍

Hi just looking for some advice usually in the winter I put the heating on in the caravan I store it at the back of the house I use a 19 kg bottle of propane can I use a 47 kg bottle too save running Back an forward from gas dealer
What about the cris number on the window ?
@@StuartLaw-q5o Cris can supply you with the stencil and the pen to add the Cris number if required. Most new vans only have a few windows etched now, so not every one has to be done.
