my college was in Chongqing for 4years ,I missed the food here.The weather is so hot，and people work there need more sault and Carbon to overcome the tempreture. by the way ， Chongqing as a port city，so many people living for carry heavy gooods， so the food here is spicy and heavyn. I used to go to that boboji all the time when I was studying around that area, omggggg I'm stuck in Canada due to the ridiculously high plane ticket price now from everyone rushing back to China cause it's one of the safest place from covid-19 now.... Thanks for uploading these videos to relieve my homesick problem a bit, sigh...You should visit some of the other district in Chongqing, there are a lot of options, I haven't even explore all of them yet and I grew up in Chongqing , keep it up, thumbs up for the editing skills again haha, video looks amazing!
i like the diffrent dishes and snacks they have. The best dish i adored was the XIAO MIAN which they eat for breakfast, the tea place also which reveal the simple life they enjoy! a cup of tea can bring happiness and gratitude ! thank you Nico for the wonderful video 💝💝💝

Think the tour guide could have give you a break in between otherwise you would definitely have a running stomach the next day lol. But those snacks are really authentic and highly recommended Chongqing flavors. (BTW it is Ma Hua rather than Mao Hua.)

It's not a food channel but we do every now and again focus on food in different cities and areas as it is such an important part of Chinese culture and travel. Our food videos never do that well but I certainly enjoy making them hahaha
Since I was there I can't get enough of this special spicy pepper oil what they put in each dish. The Hotpot is a dream with that. 10:43 this guy's with the sticks you can see a lot in Chongqing. I guess it's for carrying things around and make it easier to walk all the steps and levels

I also love Chongqing and Sichuanese food, but which is the spiciest city in China? Maybe you can reconsider the answer by exploring more in Hunan, Jiangxi, Guizhou. Glad you've discovered the meaning of "guai wei hu dou", cos "guai" means strange or weired. A little advise for the spelling: tang yuan (not tong yuan), and ma hua (not mao hua).

I've always heard how spicy Sichuan cuisine was. Having lived in Jiangxi province, I personally felt that the food there was spicy. But yeah... I think Sichuan wins! Great video 😊
i have to say that jiangxi cuisine is more spicy than sichuan cuisine，since i born and grow up here. but sichuan cuisine also got numb flavor as well as spicy.
