- Today, we are back with the BMW E60 Project and we are replacing the Rear Window Seal! The window seal on our project car was completely TRASHED! Years of sun and age has degraded the rubber seal down to nothing! All the rubber is gone and the seal is not functioning. We take on the task of replacing the new seal with a new piece to improve the looks and function of our BMW! Check out the full video and see our start to finish project of replacing our worn seal!

With some lubricant, such as a silicone dashboard cleaner, it enters very easily, friend, and for those who ask if you need glue, you don't, the rubber already has the aluminum rib and it remains strong.

What about if I've got glue in there I couldnt install mine because of glue.?
Start with the upper corners first. Much easier.

BMW has amazingly poor quality not only in rubber but also in electrical components. Do they have them made in China?
Others said to use a screwdriver 🪛. I knew better & used a trim tool.
