A young boy known as the Avatar must master the four elemental powers to save a world at war - and fight a ruthless enemy bent on stopping him. - Розваги
The fact that they did the ladder stilt thing and it actually looked really good and not goofy, great job 👏
This kid was the perfect Aang & he's the cutest thing that has the cutest smile! He looks just like the cartoon.
Yep, I agree
less eyebrows and im with you
Better line delivery and wish they let him be more childish n definitely. At least let him do his air trick with his beads
A kid ain't a thing you fool!!
@@jenaratefilms7519"Less eyebrows" 🤣🤣
That mask is like straight out of the cartoon. I love it.
It looks better then the cartoon version tbh
@@superbabedbroxd8799 why? Because it’s real?
@@eduardomagana3858 no cause it looks angry which makes it look more cooler
Ngl I don’t know why but I jus feel like seeing it be real and not animated just feels so much better maybe I’m trippin
@@lhype1748 that too lol
1:56 is so beautifully filmed and choreographed, the music swelling and the emotion behind seeing these two "enemies" working together, chefs kiss
😙🤌
That whole scenes looks like dogshit…

MY FAVE SCENE. MY FAVE EPISODE. EVER. I NEED MORE OF THIS DUO.
YESSS
Watch the original series. Not only is it wah better but you'll get plenty more of this duo (and other great ones)
@@coatrak1357 bold of you to assume no one here has already watched it 🤦♀️
yaaasss I'm a huuuge fan of the original series and have watched it more than a handful of times, so I think that's why I crave more of this duo because I know just how CHAOTIC and funny they could be hahaha@@coatrak1357
The Changes I liked:
I liked the fact they change the event that Zhao didnt find the Library, which on how on earth they can access it so easily. But gathering information with the sages made it more sense.
Aang and Zuko's conversation after this is extended. And no more frogs.
Iroh explained the scar with the addition of Zuko saves the "expendables" division and traveling with them
I mean tbh when it comes to the frogs what actor are you gonna find to suck on a frog 😂? How do u cgi sucking on a frog exactly I’m guessing that department didn’t want the headache so they cut it out and I’m not mad at it 😅 I feel like the series is good because it has the heart of the show remember this is the first season things can get better if this was released in 2010 as a film we wouldn’t be mad back then compared to that other film that should not be discussed ever 😭
@@chrisking003what frogs I don’t remember any frogs
I semi-agree but the shortness of the conversation is vital to the subtext and relationship building though? It's the fact Zuko gets bothered by 2-3 philosophical sentences from his "enemy" that sets up so much. It also gives more perspective on Aang and how he isn't prejudiced even now.
@@UndeadSlayer5Aang needed frogs to heal soma and katara so when he goes to find them he gets captured then zuko has to free as the blue spirit
@@UndeadSlayer5exactly
Animated Series Zuko as the Blue Spirit must've had so much willpower that he won't scream while falling from such height, grunt while fighting or even groan in pain after being hit just to not give any hints it was him.
Right lmao. Zuko was ALWAYS grunting while fighting in book 1 and 2 😂
I like how it kinda sounds like Zuko’s grunting as he’s blown back from Aang’s attack in 2:07
Like even he’s like ‘damn…’
good point. this scene in the animation Zuko was dead silent 😭 i actually like that u can hear him here though
This was legit a worthy attempt at a live adaption of this show and Netflix deserves praise for it despite some of the drawbacks.
Make Season 2 immediately!!!
Renewed for 2 more seasons
Best thing about this scene is that it’s almost 1:1 with the animated series!
That's the results you get when you actually follow the source material instead of doing your 'own' thing. Unfortunately we can't say the same for the rest of the show cos it's crap
literally the only scene in the series probably that matches exactly to the animation
@@mfundo6619why would you want an exact copy? all you nostalgia nerds would just compare it scene by scene and say "iTs nOT gOod eNoUgh" anyway cause you love to complain about everything. also episode 6 (this episode) was done better in live action, that's just a fact you nostalgia nerds gotta accept. i've watched Avatar and Korra 5 times over so i'd say im a fan. and honestly i watched season 1 of the OG and live action back to back and they were just as enjoyable as each other. difference was the live action just didn't have all those boring filler episodes
I was hoping they put the blue spirit! And they did! Yes! Look this adaption! Amazing!
Literally the best episode of NA:TLA I hope they’ll improve on the next season, imma give it a 7/10 a mixed bag.
same rating for me. between this scene and the Kyoshi scene in episode two i couldn’t even hate on it fr
3:26 that crossing hands over chest made me laugh 😂😂😂😂
They did this scene perfectly! This show is honestly so overhated and it is a pretty good adaptation of the original. Can't wait for season 2!
Best adaptation of All time
Nice joke
???
Agree
@@Bluebeetle1824I wouldn’t called it the best adaptation of all the time but I do think better adaptation than m night Shyamalan movie was
@@Bluebeetle1824Not perfect but it’s quite enjoyable
Great Fight scenes, nice changes to fit a live action adaptation, character development was on point overall I’d give it a solid 8/10 they did there best next season I hope we’ll be even more successful.
Netflix please please give us a season 2 season 1 is great but 2 and 3 is where it shines I love what you all did please give us the blind bandit aka the greatest earthbender in the world in season 2
Renewed for 2 more seasons
This is one of the few moments I enjoy how the blue spirit and aang moment for escapades
It still would’ve been nice to see a yuyan archer chase scene before the rescue. Changes so far are great 👍🏼
3:19 I don’t know why Aang’s face when he says “What… what are you doing!?” makes me laugh
Aang: I don't wanna kill anybody
Also Aang: (knocks like ten guards off a several-dozen-meter high wall)
They really recreated the cartoon beat for beat here
Yea only this part lol the rest is ass
@@Bluebeetle1824damn, you really just must not have been watching for most of it then
@@mastere6115 nah I watch all of them and real…..”Real” avatar fans know this show f’ck up and could have done better.

When I first saw this as a kid, I was just stunned to learn it was Zuko.
This incredible complicity.......that we don't often see in original version.
They did this scene perfectly. Just like the original.
Prince zuko is my favourite 🔥 👑
Aang in season 3: "I've never killed anyone. Trust."
Omg I love this episode “The Mask” I actually cried 😭
I do not understand the Jank complain/ dislike videos on this series they nailed this flawlessly!

He’s Green Lantern but white opal overall and the Last Airbender. His work, with Leo = St Foy ❤

Aang: "Yes, sir."
Mimir: "Now this takes me back."

season 2 now!!!
Finally. We saw a real blue spirit after terrible Shyamalan movie
All of this looks quite good, but I'm a little scared to risk watching it😅
Don't be Netflix did a great job especially with the final episode it looks gorgeous
If you go into it expecting shot for shot from the original then this isn’t for you. Just watch the original. Accept that these are little kids acting for an adaptation then you will find it an enjoyable and nostalgic experience.
@@Sandals578 I'm mainly worried about two things: losing too many details by trying to shorten the story too much, changing the feel of bending too much (mainly downsizing) because it's difficult to adapt some of it realistically into live action format.
@@ibrahimozgursucu3378 surely you must realize that to shoot all three seasons within the timespan of a single year is impossible right? Because that is the timeline for the original. One year.

Zuko doesn't want Zhao getting hand on the Avatar
Love it !!
I need season 2 😢
nice movie
It’s actually a series
What’s the theme when aang takes off zukos mask, the theme in this part of the franchise is legendary in every adaptation even the movie
Fan's: Aang and zuko never killed anyone before.😶🌫🤓🧐
Meanwhile: 2:03 and 2:30 now.😕😈👻
Me: That's rough buddy.😎🖤🤍
I wonder how many people died from falling here and how Aang cope with that? "It's not me, it's gravity"
Where is the frozen Frog?😂
Omg that so sad the fact they cut aang batle in air bender practice 😢
2nd: 1 - 3:30 best change. Shows how serious Zuko after a REASONABLE suspicion from Zhao, whereas in original & in 2010 movie Zhao just believes the blue spirit.
2 - probably the only good thing from the 2010 movie is when Zhao asked 'why are you doing this? Who are you?' - great questions.
A - No one from Earth Kingdom or Water Tribe would wear a mask (unless they were somehow spies or something).
B - No one fighting for fire nation would try to rescue the avatar.
C - No fire nation 'traitor' would be willing to kill the avatar.
Zuko is in a unique position as the only fire nation 'traitor' willing to kill the avatar. Therefore, Zuko is the unique solution to the question as to who the blue spirit could possibly be. Genius!
3 - 4:50 scar wrong side. Haha ok seriously using right hand to lift mask forward not upward means covering scar on left eye so it's not readily apparent
super faitful to the source material
They gonna show the whole movie?
Does Zuko use ZERO firebending as the blue spirit? I thought maybe like 10% to deflect fire with swords and make it seem like a martial arts trick to the untrained eye.
Yup, he always used nothing but martial skill as the Blue Spirit
And it's enough. Like Sokka, he was trained well by Piandao.
It is very close to the source marerial which I really like. The cartoon was better but that is as close as you can get with a real version of it, so heads up. The only thing missing is the original sound track but that one is also not bad
idk why zuko's swords here look like daggers
Comander Zhao is best caracter and acting..🎉🎉🎉
Deja vu
#Thats why you need a mask... for covert ops. 🤔
And new clean slate... including new clothes and personalities for solid disguise... 🗿👌🏻
And new set of new skills... 🤔
UA-cam ..... PLS UPLOAD HOW AANG IS CAPTURED
The mask is the firebender
Bro what is Avatar even about 😭👍‼️🔥🔥💀💀🙏🙏🙏🙏
I’ll tell ya, if your not really interested on watching it,
Katara/ Narrator:
Water. Earth. Fire. Air. My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar (Roku) mastered all four elements. Only he could stop the ruthless firebenders. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed and the Fire Nation is nearing victory in the War. Two years ago, my father (Hakoda) and the men of my tribe journeyed to the Earth Kingdom to help fight against the Fire Nation, leaving me and my brother (Sokka) to look after our tribe. Some people believe that the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads, and that the cycle is broken. But I haven't lost hope. I still believe that somehow, the Avatar will return to save the world."
Next narration:
A hundred years has passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an Airbender named Aang (main character), and although his air bending skills are great he has a lot to learn before his ready to save anyone, but I believe Aang can save the world.
Your welcome sir/ ma’am.
Gotta look at the original avatar the last airbender animated series so it makes more sense
It's about going to another planet called Pandora where blue aliens live.
@@PunkPaine hahaha nice one 🤣
It's about the firenation kills an entire race so they can take over the world with no one to stop them. And they succeed for 100 years until the avatar comes back. He's the only person who can stop them.
Is that zuko?
Bretman is zuko
Huh ... well placee cuts .... an actual choreography which looks believable ... TAKE NOTES, SHYAMALAN!
Halo from Ukraine🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

I think we can all agree avatar The last Airbender TV anime series was absolutely masterful what Netflix is trying to stay true to the core of the story by rewriting it and put it in the morning and realistic tone to it I have no problem with any of the interpretations of the characters I've seen so far remember one thing anime is hard to adapt to a live action feature film and make it look realistic for the fans who want to see more mature version of the show stop watching we don't need lukewarm fans. word fan divides from fanatic or fanaticism pretty neat huh😊😉 just ignore them and enjoy the show
This was the best episode of the show, extremely faithful to the original and the fight choreography and Zuko’s movements were spot on. It’s too bad the rest of the show is very mediocre
This fight was great cos they did it almost exactly like the source material. That's the results you get when you follow the source material, not when you decide to do your 'own' thing. This show is still a crap adaptation of the original
2:55 cheap looking CGI 😂😂
3:29I like how zuko puts the blades on aang against the soldiers like don't make me fucking kill this kid I will do it that's my favorite scene
I don’t like this
Meh I liked how the animated show did the whole ‘take him alive’ thing
Zuko in the animated show was like ‘oh word?’ and was on Aang’s throat in an instant. Aang didn’t even get a chance to talk the blades were so close.
But here Zuko straight-up hesitates. Not to mention Aang saying something as if they’re actually partners. The thrill of the animated show was the Blue Spirit might’ve actually done it.
Still tho the touch of showing Aang’s throat start to bleed is nice.
Overall…..meh. Not totally unwatchable.
Horrible acting 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ the 2010 movie was a lot better
This looks horrible lol
horrible acting if you watch the original
bitter, find an actor kid can adapt the animated series without flaws.
Not really. Not a perfect one but at least it's better than "my name is ONG"
You really want real people to act like a cartoon huh?!
If your og is referring to the animated one, of course it isnt! These are real people! 😂 If you meant the movie, sorry not sorry but there's no ONG in Ba Sing Se
dear god it looks like a bad larp session
Clearly this was made for everyone who isn't a die hard fan of Avatar the Last Air bender.
This is hot garbage.
