Dude, I just started learning how to play bass after switching from guitar and I love your channel and what you've done with your attic. Any chance you could do 'I Am the Highway' by Audioslave or something from their first album?

I've only just seen this comment so sorry for the very late reply! Unfortunately the attic is no more as I ended up moving house in August last year. That also kinda explains the 6 month hiatus from my channel. Audioslave are great, I love their debut album particularly. Mental note taken to cover something by them!

Bro you are a pro. You got that cover skill down. I don't hear many people playing cover's w that perfection. I've got ocd about my cover's. Ive never posted tho. I've been playing ton's cover's on bass and mostly guitar since 1995. Im trying to find an old boss hyper fuzz to pull off some NIN. i had a hybrid marshall. The old valvetronix. For guitarist trying to find NIN tone. It's hard to find that hyper fuzz. Anyway's I was wondering what gear you're using here????, Your tone is crazy perfect. I used to have an older friend. He had every old junk pedal, sans amp gear and old tube head for bass, his house was packed. He sold me an old roland guitar synth. If you go w any synth bass or keyboard gear only go with analog. Most digital synth's are pure crap. For real. Also Im trying to find bass line for NIN "hey pig", awesome song. I realy wana know what gear you use. Ive discovered most tube amp's are garbage you gota have a tube rectifier for real sound. By cranking all the knob's up on various pedal's on an old 62 class A Harmony guitar amp, One power tube, pre amp, and one rectifier tube you can alter your sound in amazing way's, and no one thought it was even a classic amp. Harmony central" no relation to the amp brand" give's the old crappy lil amp serious high rate's in sound quality. For anyone reading this, try it. Get an amp w tube rectifier. I originally Bought that 62 and a strat for my old school cover's, I also kept modern gear for modernish metal. That 62 amp changed it all. I was able to pull off "spirit in the sky" and in-a-gadda-de=vida madness I've never heard on any other amp, every guitar, bass, and pedal's come's through unique. And w an old Russian big muff perfect cherub rock pumkin's madness fuzz, dist, OD. But what my point is, That insane lunatic fuzz sound. You gotta use all AC high voltage gear for the most part and that tube rectifier. I wan know if anyone has been doing anything simular on bass. Anyone who has any awesome bass or guitar gear wisdom message me here or an leojrdowney@gmail.com. I'm always on the quest for the holy grail of great tone gear. Ive tried most stuff out there. Analog always get's the best feedback from peep's.
