Yeah, I guessed that fight would be determined by Phoenix energy as they have only enough for 4 lifts each, and a lot of Phoenix deaths wouldn’t use all of their energy or even one full lift duration.
Phoenixes get less and less efficient as the numbers grow, as lifting Phoenixes get gunned down before their victims die. Honestly i'm surprised by how many Hydras they killed.
They do win. The AI was just coded to make way too many lifts at the same time so a lot of DPS was lost and a lot of energy was also lost. This has been the theme of the episode. Or the stalkers being manually controlled at the end so they make the most ridiculous blinks while DSs getting 1 blink and it is at the start hammering them in a clump so a bunch of them cant' attack. Or the last fight where the protoss casually didi as much damage on its own forces with storms and balls, while phoenixes used their lift addiction once more to lower dps and put tanking ground units in front of the Terran air to ensure the protoss lost the air war and the whole battle.
