- Timba music in Cuba uses lots of different influences from other styles. The patterns used by conga players are different then the traditional salsa patterns. This is a lesson about Cuban timba for 3 congas. I hope you like it.
I will create more tutorials on / michaeldemiranda and I hope you will join me there.

Thank you for taking the time to allow a chance to work it out clearly. My Timba collection is growing.. Greatly appreciated maestro
You're welcome, Paul! I'm glad you can use this rhythm too! Good luck!!
thank you very much for you lesson you're the best teacher!!!! don't stop it's gonna pay!!!!
Thank you, Livio! Well, it doesn't pay money, but so many people are enjoying my videos and that is rewarding too!
When Tomas Cruz did it on 1, 2 and 4 congas I could follow, but not on 3.
This video breaks it down nicely and makes it quite understandable. Thanks!
great great great...
you are the best teacher of latin rhythms on youtube . thanks so much .
Thank you so much. I am glad you are enjoying my channel!!
I Really like this pattern. Tomasito Cruz's books are great. Nice breakdown and explanation. Well done Michael.
I don't know his books, but he plays great!! I'm glad you've enjoyed this rhythm.
Dear Mr. Miranda. I would be exciting if on the next video you invite Mr. Nippy Noya, the legendary percussionist of Holland. Perhaps he can teach us from your channel here about his strategy or tricks to orchestrate congas and/or bongos along with the drummer in modern music, especially the latin jazz music. Thanks before.
That would be great! He can teach us lots of stuff. He is always welcome to come to my studio and share his knowledge with us!
great
Thanks!

Hi Michael, thank you so much for your videos. I respect you so much as a teacher.
You mentioned a while ago that you were considering incorporating music accompaniment in your tuition video's.
That would help so much at the end of your lesson.
