    Version B cuts through the mix and fills in the high end nicely. I will dig out my own washboard necktie from the bottom of my percussion bag and give it a go.

    I like A better. It goes well with the conga and bells. B has a little bit more "ping" and clashes with the bell pattern

    i am build a set of travel congas but cant find any information about traditional rim hoop sizes and flesh hoop sizes, can you let me know what are those diameters for a 12.5 inch , 11.75 inch , 11 inch conga drum thanks.

    hello sir i hope you're doing well i have a djembe drum i use baby bull skin for its head but i cant get a thick sound like original djembe ..could you guide me to choose right skin for my drum

    I liked both, but I vote for B
    A great Conga lesson. Have you seen the UA-cam video of Bo Diddly defying Ed Sullivan and playing a Conga beat on Ed’s 1955 show? Ed wanted him to cover Tennessee Ernie Ford’s current hit”16 Tons.” It was a breakthrough for African inspired music. Check it out, if you like. Easy to find.
