What an awesome video. My daughters and I have been thinking about starting our own micro greens business and the information in your video I believe will be very helpful. Thank you for sharing 🙂
@@Hat0r1Hanz0what steps have you taken so far in the process I’m begging mine now just got a nice rack with grow lights for a good deal so I’m pretty stoked
Just started due to high grocery prices honestly and im about to crop my first harvest of spring mix. Its probably the easiest thing i ever tried lol as a weed grower theese things are fucking nothing to grow.
How have I not found you sooner. Im impressed with this presentation and look forward to exploring your videos for knowledge and inspiration for my aspirations.
This was outstanding!!! Loved the content & just they way you presented very down to earth. Congratulations on your success & much gratitude for sharing your experiences. Takes guts to start up, takes heart to keep it going.
Hi I just wanted to let you know I truly appreciate your videos they've been extremely helpful in developing my business. If I could ask you the question regarding pricing with restaurants. I have a restaurant that would like me to grow cilantro for them. And was just wondering if you might share with me what you charge for a 10x20 tray of cilantro. It takes quite a bit longer I didn't know if you charged more because of that or not.
Loved the video! Great content. I would like to know what’s your pricing for each container you sell your microgreens? At the end I heard you say $6 per container but didn’t say what size. keep sharing great information. Thanks!
Love the all the info. I have a few questions on the legal aspect. 1.) When is a business license needed? , 2.) Is a agricultural license needed? 3.) What payment methods do you use(cash app, PayPal)? I saw you mentioned squareD 4.) What do you use to sell micro greens online?
When dealing with restaurants, do you expect money at the time of delivery. I’ve heard restaurants are notorious for being ‘slow payers.’ Thanks for sharing your wealth of information.
hello, I'm following all your videos from Italy and I really thank you for all this fantastic information, you can see that you put a strong passion into your business and I will try to do it too, much more luck for your business! :)
At min 21:25(ish) you said that you make "a couple hundred dollars" a week from 5 restaurants and said "probably like $3000 a month from a handful of restaurnats". There was a communication breakdown somewhere because obviously that math doesn't add up so how were you doing $3000 a month from a handful of restaurants, can you break it down a little for me. I might start going to some restaurants to sell as well, so I'm interested... Thanks
Peter, Great video. I was wondering what size containers those are on the table? Can you please go over pricing of the sizes on the table, what you sell them for (ie) per ounce or per container and also what you sell your top 4 microgreens for? Say Pea, radish, sunflower, broccoli? Thank you so much for your information. Regards, Glenn
I appreciate the insight on selling with this video. I grow all kinds of microgreens, but I live in a town where people have shriveled buttholes and dont like to spend money much. I'm hoping some of your tactics work for me as well. Thank you
You can be flexible in your prices. My little town in Florida is not going to pay New Jersey prices. And I'd rather allow them to buy it for good health. I'll still make a profit.
Thank you soooo much for all your videos!!! This one was the one that actually persuaded me that the business could work where I live. I just googled and emailed 3 farmers markets to see how much they d charge for a stall per day (they all are opened once a week for a minimum of 4 hrs, luckily for me different days 🥳) and was surprised to find out that there were no people selling microgreens - so that looks to me like doing a step into the right direction!! 😊 all the info provided in the video gave me sooo many ideas and I can't wait to start! Ordered a starter kit for broccoli microgreens to see if I can actually grow it, as well as the book on growing microgreens that should be delivered tomorrow 😀 can't wait!!! Thank you so much for giving me faith! PS. One little question: when you are selling in the market how many boxes and how big of a variety did you have when you were starting? 🙏
This is so crazy. I was literally thinking of putting a picture portfolio of all the microgreens that I could sell. I already do this with my curb painting, and it helps 20000 %. Most people don't want to hear the yeppung, so they just focus on the visual.
Hi Jennifer, I can so relate to you. I too, was thinking about curb painting. I had mine painted several years ago and I absolutely think it’s a great idea. Did you put your painting tools together from scratch? I did see online where someone was selling it as a kit. Microgreens I would like to start growing for myself and then possibly do more.
Great very interesting and useful video. What about cooperation shops, something common in Europe, where small producers of organic products can sell into a network of retail shops?
Thank you for the information. I am currently living in the same state as you. I live all the way up north. I know I don't need a license from the Department of Agriculture. What type of license is needed from local health department? Do they come to my house for inspection? Can you please advise. Thanks a bunch! 😀
The NJ dept of agriculture is part of Rutgers. I spoke with them and you do not need licensing or anything to grow/sell microgreens. Just make sure you have farmers market and business liability insurance, along with a business license.
@@PrincetonMicrogreens Do you have any suggestions for how to find out what one's particular state's requirements are? (Or do you happen to know anything about Utah's requirements? ;) ) Great videos - just subbed!

May i ask you what you charge on average for a pound of microgreens or 8oz to restaurants
What is in the containers behind you on the shelf? Freeze dried microgreens?
May I ask what the jars of spices are on the black shelf?
Do you make the spices or do you buy bulk and fill the jars and sell?
I believe these are the seeds he use in growing the craps 😊
