I've always seen big songs from the real world make their way into movies, but I've never seen a song from a movie, especially a Disney movie be so big It spilled out and took over the real world. Good Job Disney!
I'm 23, and have goosebump listening to this. Almost cried as I remember how wonderful my life was in the Lion King era. Those kids will feel the way I feel twenty years from today when they listen to this song. Salute to Disney.
The fact that one song can have such an effect on so many people... I guess that's why I was crying. Kind of helps you to see some of the beauty in humanity. Then again, it also proves that we're fat people that like Twinkies and Disney movies. Not that there's anything wrong with that. All hail Queen Elsa.
i’m a choir student just like lexi was. i’m a former choir student with the puyallup high school choir from my school. i’m gonna be a choir student in seattle where i can continue doing what i love doing.
I got teary eyed, I don't know why people can every hate on disney. I don't even care if the plotline is similar look at what one song does to the entire world. it's truly beautiful!
There's something about the world coming together to enjoy and sing a song that just brings this warm feeling to me. Even though some of the singers weren't the best, and it wasn't that well timed, the fact that one song from one movie brought together so many people is astounding.
Love this! it's not about vocals, it's about coming together and sharing the universal language that is music! amazing :D...over here singing loud, and off-key
When the shot went to the If/Then cast my first thought was "What is Rent doing in this video?" It truly took me a second longer than it should have to read the title.
Disappointed that Idina Menzel was not more involved. After all, it is her song, her version, that everyone loves. One thing I find funny, the dvd/blu-ray is coming out soon. But, some theaters are still playing Frozen.
Everyone singing the song all together made me cry tears of joy to see everyone together like that it makes me forget about the cruel things in the world
I might have cried :P Something about sing-alongs like this always get to me, I can't help it! I don't remember the last time a Disney song was this big of a hit, not to mention it's a great song. So fun to see everyone's different takes on the song. :)
I agree, I hope Frozen wins Best Animated Picture, and "Let it go" should win best original song. However, don't forget about "Get a Horse" that was awesome." Get a Horse" should win best animated short film.
***** Not just kids, millions of people in general would be heartbroken and enraged if it didn't win! So it better win. PLEASE, Oscar voters, make the right decision and have Let It Go and Frozen take home the Oscars they rightfully deserve!
All of the cute little kids singing along. And then you've got me, almost a legal adult, singing louder (and far worse) than any of them. And losing it when Avenue Q popped in at the end.
This is so cute and lovely. So many great versions from the original of Demi Lovato and Idina Menzel and cover version by Sam Tsui, Alex Boye & One Voice Children's Choir, Pentatonix, and the recent instrument version by The Piano Guys :) Theyre all great. I cant believe I miss watching it this morning :(
Lexi is by far the best of all of them. They should have let her be the only soloist. Also, this performance sounded a mess because everyone was featured.
So, four years ago Fans of Lexi Walker completely missed the point. I hope in the four years since then, he/she/they worked out that if you want to listen to Lexi's solo then go and listen to her solo videos. The entire point of _this_ event was to include *everyone* - and it was wonderful for it.
This song has no words. It’s hits u in so many levels n the way this was done was just… mind blowing. Yes we’ve had songs from movies become a hit that we can’t stop singing about but this was n is a different level. Regardless of age
Is that Lexi Walker? Ooooh wait, never mind. They're soooo good. I was waiting the whole video to hear the last ''Let the storm rage on'' and it got ruined by the muppets. :(
if you want the original you have it this was made to celebrate the nationwide impact of the song and it did that that being said they needed to turn George's Mic down a bit (or have him not sing into it) and Josh needed to hold his cell phone right for the end part
All the recordings/videos compared to the live stuff outside are in different keys. Outside they're singing in a higher key than everyones videos, since everyones videos are to the original recording which is in a lower key? it just sounds really muddy and its a shame :(
Well...considering it's the kids who got it right and the technicians who selected the backing track who are in the wrong...yeah. I'm in the backstage business, so i know it's just an accident but it's a shame since it could have sounded even better!
dude i've already said THE KIDS DID IT RIGHT, all of them, it was the tv crew who messed up, and what i'm saying is as paid professionals its a shame they didn't realise and make this sound 1000 times better. no need to swear
All good! Let it go!! The key they picked is the same one from Lexi's cover (akex boyes), so I wonder if they chose the key based on the three singers preferences.
It looks like Idina is going to make us wait till Oscar to hear her sing it live. I can't wait three more days! It would've been awesome if she showed up and sang with the three girls. They didn't show her for even a minute, not mention that she wasn't singing alone. This one is cute but it's clearly messed up. Some of them are even singing Demi's pop version, they just lost the meaning of the song. But children here are happy and I guess that's what they wanted.
She performed it just as she did in her video, but her video was more or less a solo act. This was supposed to be about unity, all these people coming together to sing a song they love, and she was definitely showing off a bit. But I don't think it was on purpose. She just has a very strong voice and she's only 11, after all.
I've always seen big songs from the real world make their way into movies, but I've never seen a song from a movie, especially a Disney movie be so big It spilled out and took over the real world. Good Job Disney!
I love how the world loves this song. Not only that, but the message is awesome too! Optimism is the way to live life.
True.
:)
This song has literally brought the whole world together!
soo true!
True that! :D
True, it's amazing :')
What about if the whole entire world sang it and we would have peace
I pray to see that day come!
the girl in the middle was the best for me .. very lovely voice
the girl on left side her voice still naive, Lexi Walker has much more mature voice then the rest of them
The girl in the middle did a cover of this with Alex Boye. It was an Africanized version and it was amazing
Love how Idina gets embarrassed singing ''it looks like I'm the queen''... She IS a true queen, whatever she does.
I'm pretty sure that you have never seen this movie when you were a kid 🤔 😕
@@jim306able I first saw it as a grown-up because it came out when I was already grown-up. So what?
I'm 23, and have goosebump listening to this. Almost cried as I remember how wonderful my life was in the Lion King era. Those kids will feel the way I feel twenty years from today when they listen to this song. Salute to Disney.

:o feel free to send some twinkies to Japan :D I miss them and they don't sell twinkies here I don't think... :(
Tbh its Pretty amazing how one song can join together so many different people
Dang, that Lexi Walker can SING. I'm so jealous of the way she can belt it out.
My middle name is Lexi to 😽
i’m a choir student just like lexi was. i’m a former choir student with the puyallup high school choir from my school. i’m gonna be a choir student in seattle where i can continue doing what i love doing.
OMG!!!! LEXI AND GRACEEEEEEEEE!!!!! AND MUGGLESAM!!!! OMG!!!!!!! AND ANNALISE!!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!! ROCKING OFF MY CHAIR!!!!!
All UA-camrs that I love
OMG this just makes me cry because it's so beautiful how so many people are united through this song.
I got teary eyed, I don't know why people can every hate on disney. I don't even care if the plotline is similar look at what one song does to the entire world. it's truly beautiful!
"Let it Go" will definately take home an oscar.
Cool!!! I wish I could've gone to New York and sang in the crowd! Not to mention meeting the amazing Idina Menzel in person.
The girl in the middle.....i love her voice
Yeah, she is amazing!
cute also
She had a cute voice but i liked the first one
Is it weird to start crying in the middle of this?
I love it it is so delightful and loving
Courtney Sherrell
I did too. OMG
no, i also was crying
Always for me... lol
Why did this make me cry? 😭💛 I’m so happy to see how one song brought so many people together. It is the good in the world and made me so happy!!
There's something about the world coming together to enjoy and sing a song that just brings this warm feeling to me. Even though some of the singers weren't the best, and it wasn't that well timed, the fact that one song from one movie brought together so many people is astounding.

I love how one song can bring so many different people together. They and we can all forget our differences, join hands, and let it go.
I think Frozen made history
When the shot went to the If/Then cast my first thought was "What is Rent doing in this video?" It truly took me a second longer than it should have to read the title.
haha i said the same thing i had to rewind to see what it said haha
This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! I actually cried! Faith in humanity restored! :)
Idina Menzel is by far the best at this song, no matter what.
This goes to show how something so small can bring a whole country together :)
Well hello Newsies! I seriously screamed in excitement when they came on!
wow that many people singing Togther at one time...beautiful
Kimmy O
Kimmy O yes it truly is
Brings tears to my eyes while I had goosebumps
No
Disappointed that Idina Menzel was not more involved. After all, it is her song, her version, that everyone loves.

the little girl at 1:54 is SOOO CUTE!!
Everyone singing the song all together made me cry tears of joy to see everyone together like that it makes me forget about the cruel things in the world
Im so really proud of this song and the movie! This is so successful than any movie I saw! #frozen #letitgo #elsa #anna
***** It is only 4 hashtags. :|
I can't believe it's almost 3 years since Frozen was released. Time flies fast!
"Let it go! Let it go!" The new national anthem of the United States of America.
Replace "the United States of America" with "humanity" and I think we're good. :)
This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my entire life
I'm literally in tears right now :')
3:15-3:42 idina menzel is the best
I might have cried :P Something about sing-alongs like this always get to me, I can't help it! I don't remember the last time a Disney song was this big of a hit, not to mention it's a great song. So fun to see everyone's different takes on the song. :)
Let It Go had BETTER win that Oscar tomorrow for Best Original Song, and Frozen for Best Animated Feature!
I agree, I hope Frozen wins Best Animated Picture, and "Let it go" should win best original song. However, don't forget about "Get a Horse" that was awesome." Get a Horse" should win best animated short film.

So it better win. PLEASE, Oscar voters, make the right decision and have Let It Go and Frozen take home the Oscars they rightfully deserve!
Guess what? Our dreams came true on the night of the Oscars! Frozen won both awards: Best Animated Feature and Best Song!
I am crying so much I can t stop.. Tell me I am not the only one
You're not the only one :')
Join the club I did to
bloody onion boss wins again!
Your not the only one.!
You're not the only one. I cry everytime I watch this video
the little girl at 1:52 is sooooo adorable :)
"the perfect Girl is GONE..."...that is what the message is...! lets embrace imperfection and love it as the perfect Creation.
Exactly. And to never feel like you have to hide or suppress who you really are to please others or make them comfortable.
Amen to that!
It's "THAT perfect girl is gone"
Brooke Katz "THAT" is referring to the conception of "THE" perfect girl....!
+Rui Martins I know, but the word Idina said was "THAT perfect girl is gone", meaning Elsa's evolved....
We were in NYC from Liverpool UK and stopped to watch this live. Was fantastic and I spotted my pops and Hubby in the background x
All of the cute little kids singing along. And then you've got me, almost a legal adult, singing louder (and far worse) than any of them.
And losing it when Avenue Q popped in at the end.
Love that boys like and know the song too!!!!!!!! And all of New York City singing along- won't lie, made me tear up.....
5:02 A little bit of Idina there!
Lol
,a
I JUST HAD THE BIGGEST ON SMILE ON MY FACE EVER WHEN I SAW IDINA LAUGHING WHEN THEY TURNED TO HER WHEN SHE SANG THE LYRIC QUEEN AGH
I'm honestly not sure why I'm here
it's so amazing it's such a great song you have to keep coming back even though it's been sung to death.
Chelsi Irvine Yeah... never seen Frozen, but I've somehow managed to learn every word. -insert sarcastic smile here
+Brooke Winchester 😂😂😂😂
Lexi's voice is so amazing I love her and her voice💕
1:09 Translator Pedal: The Wind is howling like this swirling storm inside.
This is so cute and lovely. So many great versions from the original of Demi Lovato and Idina Menzel and cover version by Sam Tsui, Alex Boye & One Voice Children's Choir, Pentatonix, and the recent instrument version by The Piano Guys :) Theyre all great. tried to fight back the "heart warming happy tears" because i'm a grown ass woman but i failed so badly XD
I've gotten chills... It's wonderful *-*
This made me cry because of the the fun and happiness they had May god bless them and let the let go all the hatred
I dont know why but i am crying... this is beautiful
Lexi is by far the best of all of them. They should have let her be the only soloist. Also, this performance sounded a mess because everyone was featured.
yes she hit the high notes the others couldn't hit
strangers xD dont say that everyone is different by their own way😘
Good
So, four years ago Fans of Lexi Walker completely missed the point. I hope in the four years since then, he/she/they worked out that if you want to listen to Lexi's solo then go and listen to her solo videos. The entire point of _this_ event was to include *everyone* - and it was wonderful for it.

I FEEL LIKE A FROZEN FAILURE FOR NOT SEEING IT LIVE
This song has no words. It’s hits u in so many levels n the way this was done was just… mind blowing. Yes we’ve had songs from movies become a hit that we can’t stop singing about but this was n is a different level. Regardless of age
Idina Menzel, the New York City Children's Chorus, and viewers around the country, that amazing
1:38-1:41 OMG I think she made me deaf XD
I love lexi's voice and hairstyle :)
"Can we do that again daddy?" So cute!
Loved how they showed Avenue Q at the end.
This was amazing! It was heart touching in some ways! Thank you!
That girl in the middle with the crazy hair, that I'm hoping, praying, and assuming is a wig, is my favorite singer out of the three.
That's Lexi Walker. And yes, it's a wig.
Claire Nope I realized that after I watched this video, when more videos about her showed up, I clicked on them, so....
+Night Shade lexi walker and yes its a wig
I don't think Lexi hair is crazy!
The fact the just this one song brought so many people together gives me chills
The girl in the queen costume is from the African version of the song! Who knew?
Epic indeed. Frozen for life.
wow so amazing! SUCH A POWERFUL SONG I MEAN THIS IS BECAME INFLUENCE! Thanks to the composer! :D
Lexi has such a beautiful voice. I love to listen to her songs😍
That make me smile soooooo much!
I'm gonna start to cry
This song will never let me go away from it.

Who's watching this in 2016?
IT'S FABULOS. I LOVE IT. I CRIED♥
So much goose bumps ~
This made me cry and gave me chills ! :D
The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway, The Storm Sucked, Daddy, Can we do this again?
Wow it is almost 2 in the morning and I'm here crying and have a bunch of goosebumps
Is it just me who thinks for the first time in forever is that bit better than let it go?
And George's face is like "I am a journalist what is this BS I'm getting paid to do right now"
Lexi Walker + Us The Duo = perfection.
THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!
All the recordings/videos compared to the live stuff outside are in different keys. Outside they're singing in a higher key than everyones videos, since everyones videos are to the original recording which is in a lower key? it just sounds really muddy and its a shame :(

The backstage crew at the tv people are grown adults and professionals, the kids did wonderfully, the adults are in the wrong.
dude i've already said THE KIDS DID IT RIGHT, all of them, it was the tv crew who messed up, and what i'm saying is as paid professionals its a shame they didn't realise and make this sound 1000 times better. no need to swear
Well sorry but I just uuugggghhh I just wanna scream and shout and let it go
All good! Let it go!! The key they picked is the same one from Lexi's cover (akex boyes), so I wonder if they chose the key based on the three singers preferences.

it amazing I love this song.
Its nice to see how everyone came together for this

Tears coming out. Soooooo sweet
Who is the girl in the middle? She was amazing!
Lexi Walker, isn't she just amazing!!
thank you & yes! how old is she? she looks quite young but her voice is amazng!
Lexi is 11 or 12 x
Rebecca Leech she is 12
Lexi Walker
6:10 omg it's "US" the duo! i love themmm
I love Lexi's voice, but I think she was trying to hard to stand out and to outperform the other two girls. Am I the only one that feels this way?
She performed it like she does in her video, so no.
She performed it just as she did in her video, but her video was more or less a solo act. This was supposed to be about unity, all these people coming together to sing a song they love, and she was definitely showing off a bit. But I don't think it was on purpose. She is just the better singer and that's why she stands out more !
I almost cried because how amazing frozen is. I love it sooooooo much!!!!!
