Thousands of Mullet Under Pensacola Beach Pier

Hello to all and welcome to my channel after my long hiatus away from fishing and making videos.
Out on the Pensacola Beach Pier in Florida last winter to spend a few hours to see what was swimming around the pier that day. Was in Pensacola for about a month to help my Dad as he just had a serious medical emergency (my Dad is doing much better now). And lucky for me the mullet and redfish were moving in huge schools up and down the beach passing under the pier while I was there. Sorry for the minimal video content this time around. I tried to make the video interesting with my new computer and new editing programs, everything is new and I hope I get better at this as I add more content to my channel. Didn't have my go pro and only used my iPhone X when I wasn't catching bait or the Spanish Mackerel pictured at the end, so sorry for no fishing video content.
Great day overall as the two Spanish Mackerel were the largest I had ever hooked up on the pier over my many other fishing adventures on the pier, over the last few years of vacations to see my parents. Hope to make another trip out to Florida when I can in the near future.
Used old spinning fishing rods my parents had in their garage, but bought new 4000 & 5000 Penn Pursuit III reels loaded with 15lb & 20lb monofilament, along with an SV-65 Okuma Stratus V spinning reel with 25lb mono, using large circle hooks, Tough Bubble floats, and 30lb mono leader.
