- Kaz's upbringing, man this guy had a really sad childhood then he gets killed by Liquid just like that? That's the problem with prequels, you know that the characters being introduced are already dead or became the enemy (i still can't believe that Para-Medic, Sigint & Major Zero were corrupted with greed & power) Well at least he got married and had a daughter (eventhough he was divorced).
props to Mr. Robin Atkin Downes for doing a great job with Master Miller, the young Miller is perfect after what we heard from Cam Clarke's MGS Miller (eventhough technically that's Liquid) & he portrayed perfectly the Master Miller we loved in the first MGS.
I feel really sorry for him. He never had an easy life. His childhood, the early death of his parents, he loses his arm and leg, his marriage did not work and then he is killed.
Also the last sentence is even more depressing after TPP. But in PW he is still a funny guy who knows how to have a good time.

@@user-en4eo1cc4t He felt betrayed yet again when he realized that venom wasn't big boss. Did he deserved punishment for his crimes? Yes. Was he wrong to support solid in order to take revenge on big boss? Nope.

I really like the backstories in MGS--especially The Boss and Big Boss--but, I don't know... Kaz's felt the most real. Things that totally could have happened. Definitely makes it well, y'know, depressing.

Miller is a part of Snake's personalities. This is why he had a similar upbringing to Naomi and was impersonated by Eli, Solid Snake's other persona. Miller is to Big Boss as Solid Snake is to Liquid. it's the biggest foreshadowing of the series no one has yet to understand but me

Believe it or not, but this guy has the same voice as the Medic from War-Themed Hat Simulator.
He ended up training Solid Snake (with 1 arm and leg) to kill Big Boss who was once his, probably bestfriend. Well, like Miller said War is just a business and it's good business and it also means it's not personal. It's sad that the bad guys won, Liquid ordered Ocelot to kill Miller

Ocelot would never betray *BIG BOSS* he was so obsessed with him that he even used nanomachines and phyco therapy to make him self believe he is Liquid, so he could fool the system
Ocelot wouldn't have a problem pulling the trigger to Miller
But in the end Miller won, Solid Snake managed to defeat every son of Big Boss and he himself became the strongest. In the end the one who saved the world multiple times was Snake the man he trained.
@@pixytorres7117 Also, it's a bit far fetched, a line thatvhas stuck to me from mgs 1 was Solid Snake saying, "Just because you're at war, doesn't mean you have to end a friendship."
I like to think he caught on or heard such words from a jaded Miller who had time to reflect on things after he was taken out of the game between Patriots and Outer Heaven. Basically, he hates what Big Boss has done, but he refuses to end their friendship, same thing Zero felt for Big Boss too. If given a chance, they either reconcile or try and look past old faults.
Miller deserved better.
Good Lord, after listening to this it makes me feel absolutely horrible for him in Phantom Pain. Kaz is a broken down shell of a man who will never return. And after the kick in the balls he got after learning the truth about Venom Snake, he still lusted for revenge even though he admitted it didn't bring him peace. Then to die in cold blood right before MGS. His only real accomplishment of pride was training Solid Snake.
I feel so sorry for Kaz... He had the perfect body for a solider, losing his arm and leg as a result for the torture, it's just brutal, he had his whole life ahead of him, and I think he had gone a little bit chubby( maybe lack of the ability for movements?) in TTP. Anyway, wanna give him a big hug.
Damn, that's sad. Even though he was named for peace, war and conflict was written into his DNA. Worse yet is that he never really found peace in his life, between watching MSF be destroyed, losing his arm, leg and his sight, Miller couldn't escape war and violence.
Many people with sad childhood are killed, day by day, still, near us, Kaz is not exception. There is no peace on world. Great fragment, thanks for sharing!
This is almost one of those Disney stories at first where a kid learns they're royalty or something.

this is 9 months late but Miller didnt betray him, he was assassinated by Liquid and Liquid assumed his identity. It explained at the end of Peace Walker and in the first game....I don't know what bullshit others were telling you but there wrong....
Supposedly his mother got syphilis when she was young. But that would've transmited it to him, wouldn't it?

@Iforgot276 Actually, in the official timeline, Big Boss goes back to FOXHOUND. (Late 80s, early 90s.) Since Snake joins the unit in the 90s and received training from Miller, it's probably safe to say it wasn't at MSF since Miller was known to train other various groups. That and during MG2, he calls Big Boss a monster. So Miller probably left Outer Heaven somewhere after PW and some time before the first Metal Gear.
I wonder if there will be any inference to Liquid killing Kaz in MGSV - like for instance how he managed to learn to mimic Kaz so perfectly

@lalluprasadindia because their ideals clashed, as BB wanted to throw the world into perpetual war, taking in war orphans only to feed them back into the battle field, while Miller wanted MSF to be a business. Either wait for it in the next game or don't worry about it.

@@sambridgers9543 I think he hates it because in this recording Kaz talks about such a personal issue and he does it with such confidence that it shows how much he appreciates and trusts Big Boss which makes Snake's betrayal so painful and that is very sad because it seems like Snake never cared about Kaz so Big Boss can go to hell
@@bigsoss1144 Kaz betrayed Big Boss so that's why Big Boss didn't cared about him. But still Kas got revenge and trained Snake who ended up killing Big Boss.

@Iforgot276 The point I was trying to make was that Snake wouldn't be part of/learn at Outer Heaven/MSF. As for the CQC, I don't think he explicitly stated that in MGS4. ... It's not really that strange, even if he does know it. CQC was just developed by Big Boss and The Boss, not strictly for them. So even if he did learn it from Big Boss, it's possible it was while Big Boss was in command of FOXHOUND just before the Outer Heaven Uprising in 1995.

@lalluprasadindia Well throughout PW he says that he wants to maintain a business. When BB becomes a warmonger in MG2 and wants to throw the world into perpetual war, going against the ideals that Miller was going for with MSF. Hey, if Zero and BB can go from good friends to bitter enemies the same can happen between these two friends. You know there's gonna be another Peace Walker-esque game, and they've got about 25 years between PW and MG2, either an answer will show or Kojima has forgotten.

That answers that then. If they did make another entry or a remake, Snake would be training, yes. Just in FOXHOUND like I suggested as opposed to MSF/Outer Heaven like you originally stated. We were both technically right, just on different matters.
ummm.....kaz was part of the patriots...he sold out big boss and helped create liquid and solid snake. im not saying solid snake is a bad guy, but as big boss said, "the world would be better off wthout snakes"

the kind of cool thing was that Kaz kind of right and kind of wrong. In terms of war, he survived all of them. But by aligning himself with big boss, he ended up getting murdered by his clone...crazy
