- Made some more progress on the Aquazone diorama and wanted to share. I'm taking my time with the monorail to make sure everything works well before I start building around it. Also pulled all of my minifigs out to see what I have.

Wow this is looking awesome!! I cant wait to see all of those crystals and massive trans dome pieces incorporated.
Also never realized those hazard tiles were a gold mine 😂 rare lego be weird sometimes
I have to find my bag of crystals first 😅. As far as the hazard tiles go, it's one of those things you can find cheap here and there but never in quantity. They are fairly common but there are usually only 4 or fewer in any given set. Any seller with 10+ for sale is charging at least 20 cent each (in the US) and that can really add up!
Looks cool!! Love that you take us along to see how your creative process is. It is the same with me, clean desk gets the project started, messy desk gets the project finished 😂
6180 Hydro Search Sub was one of my first Lego sets so glad to see a few Hydronauts show up!

Plenty of time, take advantage of the good weather! I've been bust with Brick Fan Expo all weekend, it was such a blast! Definitely picked up some inspiration while I was there and got to meet a lot of great folks

Aquazone was always my favorite theme, I'm so glad I made it a point to buy as many Aquazone parts as I could over the past decade or so. So glad to finally put them to use!

Thanks! It was only a few months ago those parts started being sold in the US. I had been watching people's 4D Brix videos for years and was so upset they went out of business. There are printers in Germany, Australia and stuff but getting them made and shipped here works out much better. The diagonal straight pieces are incredibly useful, that was the piece I wanted more than anything. Not to mention $10 full straights 😅
You know, back when Aquazone was going to be called Seatron, they had plans to make a monorail for it.
Yep! I actually debated on making the monorail more in line with the design of the Seatron monorail. Due to space constraints I had to make mine much more compact.
