How can you use or avoid dropping names from the company or people you know in an industry and not sound like “name-dropper” and more like an insider.
Why did you use four fingers when saying five and seven fingers when saying five,I was waiting for you to explain that
Like your confidence in speaking even when u show the numbers wrongly with your finger✌️
I think this was done on purpose.🙂
That shows how confident he is. What a legend!
@ Joel Chris 😂I thought that was hilarious.
😁😁😁😁
Yes hahahaha
The incorrect counting is hilarious and only adds humor to the fabulousness of this man. I’m not personally looking for a job, but my adult son and several of my nieces and nephews are in the market and I’ve sent every one of them a link to these vids. My son just landed his top pick for a job. A+ content on this channel.
Everything you say is golden! I got the job I wanted after binge watching your channel. Thanks a million
Way to Go, Alec!!
Agree 👍
I like this guy. An authentic human. Thank you- you are appreciated
Legit one of the most authentic dudes on UA-cam
Wow!
Bill, other than not knowing how to (finger) count you are the best in the genre. You give the very best advice. You're AWESOME.
I noticed that too, he said number 3 and showed 4 fingers then he said number 4 and showed 5 fingers. What the hell? First time could have been an accident but the second time was a blow out.
@@walkerchino Yeah, but if you are looking for a job he gives the very best advise.
@@walkerchino Am sure you are not just here to count fingers. Be less judgmental bro
@@walkerchino "number five" and showed 7 fingers 🤣🤣
@@walkerchino he clearly did it on purpose man, how can you not tell
I got hired today thanks to you! I THANK YOU!!
Congratulations, Tiya! You should be very proud.
This guy's teaching is very comprehensive! Helps you to understand a lot of diff aspects!
Love the passion, energy, truth and humor you bring to this challenging topic...
I thought I was the only one obsessive enough to be distracted by his spoken vs hand number mismatch, then I read the comments... :).
I love the little switch-ups -- different microphone, counting down from two -- and it makes the video more enjoyable to watch. An audio podcast, this wouldn't matter, but video is less forgiving of boredom and routine.
I binge watched your vids before a recent interview and they really helped me to relax and prepare properly. Thank you
And you are awesome too Bill!!! Thank you so much for making these videos and taking the time to record, edit and upload them to UA-cam!!! ❤️
Thx for your videos! A few days ago despite having no work experience and being 20 y.o. Economics student, I’ve got a Product Analyst Internship in IT
Keep up the great content!
That's awesome news, Daun! You deserve to be proud of yourself!
You are awesome, Bill. So many positive vibes coming out of your videos 👍👍
I am learning more and more from your videos and your spirit .
This begging of the video tips sounds very similar to the process what I was practicing for a citizenship interview ! It ook my memories 10 years back .. Thank you much !👍
Lol this was great, but the hand geatures were the best part
Thanks for your channel. Loyal follower of your advice and it works
Thank you for your encouraging words, I am again fueled to search for more jobs, been hopeless lately. thank you for your videos. keep uploading. God bless
Thank you for uploading. Very helpful. Haven't done it for a while.
My practice was going to many job interviews.
Thank you!! You're so right!!!!
i'm very much enjoying seeing you on your videos ,you are very impressive . your videos are skillful and down to earth
Hi there, I just wanted to say that you are awesome. I've watched almost all of your works. These are so helpful. I've learned so much from your videos. Recently, I've faced two interviews. And guess what, all of these learnings helped me to perform really well. And I'm not even from your continent. As you know, interviewer mindsets differ from region to region. However, the basic philosophy remains to same. I don't know whether I'm going to get the job from the two interviews. But I know that I performed really well. Sometimes, it's not about the performance or how good we are professionally. Sometimes, it's about something else. I've seen several times that the final candidate is preselected. In situations like these, interviews are just to show off that the company followed process and fair while recruiting.
Anyway, pardon me for such long comment. Bottom line is... I'm really grateful to you. You are an amazing person 🙏🏼
Thanks, Anwar! That's a very, very nice thing to say! You obviously have impeccable taste! I hope you have a very successful and prosperous 2021
@@TheCompaniesExpert im going into an interview nextbweek, I know I meet all the requirements however like anwar mentioned they may have already preselected the candidate and the interview is just a Sharade. How can one deal with this situation?
This is an awesome confidence boost video!! Thanks
Thank you , I wish you all the best🌿
As always Big Thanx for your video . ; )
Thank you your videos are very helpful!
This video was very helpful, thank you so much!
You are awesome too!! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for boosting my confidence sir
Now this time I have to admit that you're AWESOME.
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!
YOU ARE AWESOME !
Very helpful, thank you
God bless you Bro. !
Thank you, this video is very helpful.
No, YOU are AWESOME!! THANK YOU 🥰😊👏
The way to connect with interviewers is to recall they are just people. They can be often as good as floundering as you. I’ve run into nervous HR recruiters. I do recommend a quick icebreaker statement if you can fit one in. Chances are if they don’t seem human, they probably aren’t and you might not want to work there. Robots are not great to work for. This takes practice. Upbeat, positive, energetic but not overly so. Be assertive, but not aggressive. Good luck out there everyone! I’m getting practice myself as of late, having just left a pretty decent job. I just want something more.
Great video.
Your videos got me an offer!! You are amazing. Thank you so much for the advice !
Congratulations, Mike! That's incredible news!
Thank you so much for your tips. I got the job before I even left the interview!!! Thank you so much. I appreciate you!!!
Congratulations, Mollly! Way to go!
This is great advice! Thank you for sharing. I just missed out on a job interview that I have been working up to for a year now, and the hiring supervisor even acknowledged that I can definitely do the job, but the overall panel rejecting my application due to "poor interviewing skills" so that's what I'm trying to work on and your videos have been very insightful. P.S. Why do you hold up the wrong number of fingers when announcing numbers?
Thanks for sharing sir
Thank You 🙏
You are awesome!
Thanks ♥
Bill, thanks so much for your advice.
Especially, you're awesome.
Had an interview today in a non-native language.
It went well.
I don't know if I'll get the job or not, but you're awesome.
Thanks, Alex! Being able to do an interview in a non-native language is no small accomplishment. Best of luck!
Gold Advice 🏅
You are awesome too 🤗!
I have no confidence at all, to the point where I have a Master's Degree (Suma Cum Laude) in a specialized field, but am working in a job far removed from that field, for less than $15 an hour because I don't dare even try for something in my own field (long story short, I have had some bosses a long the way who just killed my passion for my original path). Now, I am trying SO hard to get my foot back into the door toward what I really love. I had one interview last week I thought I nailed, and as it turns out, I was awful, apparently, because I didn't get the job (I hadn't seen your videos and discovered I'd made some bad mistakes). I have another one tomorrow and I have been working and watching these videos so much and writing stuff down. I hope the work is worth it! I really want to do what I was meant to do.
Excellent tips. I just had a client come in that is nervous about this first interview. I will pass these tips on to them. Love your counting skills!
thank you sir
You are Awesome :)
Your videos are so helpful! I had my first interview a few days ago and I got the job! Thanks for all the tips, I definitely took advantage of them in the interview
Way to go, Jacob! You did a a FANtastic job!
I’ve just found your channel. My interview is tomorrow morning. I was feeling pretty confident after watching loads of videos until you’ve just said “This will take you days and days and days to practice….” How about hours and hours? 🤞🏼
OMG I have an interview tomorrow and Im really scared and stressed please pray for me
You have a good stuff maan😍
thanks so much for the advice and learning sir 😊👍you are a fantastic mentor💯👍👍👏👏👏 😊 sir applying for a position of call center is it good or bad? thanks sir
Amazing 👋
Thanks for your tips I got two job offers this week!
Congratulations, Des!
Bill,
Great tips for sure. Especially to never stop looking. I have to ask about the obvious intentional mismatch between fingers being held up and numbers spoken. Is there a subliminal message you’re trying to send? Are you okay? Are you being held against your will? Blink faster in the next video and we’ll send help. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice very practical approach, I learned a lot from your videos, just wanna tell you that in this Video when you are mentioning and signaling with Tip no 1, you show 2 fingers, and when you say Tip no 2 you show 3 fingers, and for the rest. I am not arguing anything but showing you my interest and paying attention to your videos. Thank you so very much for that. You can reply here I may need your help for an upcoming telephone interview.
I am waiting for my final interview result with top management. it was final interview with top management, after brief introduction GM HR said you have given brief introduction and it was not your words but it was your dedication, hardworking conveying your message to us, your hard work and dedication reflect in your introduction He said you want to achieve more in short time by using your learning appetite and hardworking skills, and also comment competiton is tough and recuritement is purely based on merit.... The last statement is very confusing.... Could you please explain.....
Thank you so much Bill! Ive just used your interview video material to land my first ever internship in a field i love!
Great job, Jordan! You rule!
Sick. What field?

The worst job interview I had was when I went for a Pre press Graphic Design and Print operating job at my local print store here in NZ the site Manager then asked "how old were you when you arrive to NZ?" and I was like hmmm wtf hmmm I just said "I arrived to NZ as a little kid", man I didn't want to reveal my age during the job interview haha!
After almost 2 months of waiting, I got a job offer but after 3 months of service I decided to part ways because the site manager was very rude and disrespectful towards me and even worse my work colleague, who can't speak eng properly 😡!
You know your Job, but… you must learn how to count with fingers! 😂👍🏻✌🏻
How do i trust a guy whose tip count don't match his fingers? LOL, love the tips and your style of teaching
Right?! Haha. I kept waiting for some sort of punchline at the end of the video explaining why he was doing it.
Think you you help me so much i owe you everything im going to cry😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Like this More Videos interview Freshers ?
Thanks 👍😊😊❤️❤️🙏🙏
Thank youuu
Very nice video. Is there any reason why he finger counted in a wrong way?
he says number 2 and holds up 3 fingers xD
Hi sir
Can you please make a video explaining how we can contact a company for job through their email or contact number.
I'm an electrical engineering student and looking for a remote internship. I tried sending my resume and portfolio to some companies related to my niche but no response. Can you please guide me about the right way to reach out to them.
Again thanks for your response to my every comment.
So useful!Thanks
Just one thing you said 5 things and you showed 4 fingers and you said number one and you just showed two fingers?maybe I am not good at counting numbers? Is this all confidence?
I've had an interview yesterday
This channel helped me to handle the situation well..mmm May be I should wait for the result first. Haha
how did it go?
@@tonychen8175 it went well
Still waiting for the results
@@mundhermuqbali3525 and???
@@Procarz super well
Done and nearly flying to UK soon
I'm on fire, thank you so much
thanks for the tips... really appreciate that.. one question... if I have interviews lined up and the interviewer asks my if I have other interviews going on, how should i respond to that? cheers
good evening sir 😍😍
can you please talk about what to say in the application email
The seven downvotes are the recruiters.
The only way I've ever been able to get a job is start as a TEMP. It doesn't matter my qualifications, I get passed over every job I interview for, been out of work since 2016.
Being a casual worker is a good starting point to build up work experience
I've been having interviews but today I have an interview for my dream job, investment analyst so I'm more nervous than usual.
@vincentkingsdale8334 unfortunately, didn't get it. The hiring manager did tell me that if I became a CFA Level I Candidate it would help my chances better. I have become one but it's been challenging trying to prepare for it because of time constraints.
Do I like thes videos because the content is realy grat or the presenter is realy great guy?
...........AND that stuff does match my work experience!
👍
♥️👍👍👍
Watching this 30 minutes before my first online interview. 😅
I GOT THE JOB!!!! 🤩
You obviously did a fantastic job! Congrats!!
@@TheCompaniesExpert Thank you for helping me calm my nerves beforehand. You are awesome!
amazing video. I love listening you talking. But Initially i was wondering if you knew you were using the wrong number of fingers for your number, than I realized you were indeed doing it on purpose. Why?
did he say 5 while holding up 4 lol
Why did you hold up an extra fingetlr and two extra for 5 when you said the number?
My interview is today, am Nervous. Other wise i cant practice. I didnt know about it
Hi. Why did you show the wrong number of fingers to each numbered question ? i,m intrigued.
3,4,2,4,8,5 or thereabouts ....
I was waiting for you to explain the finger count thing? Was that suppose to be a subliminal message or... To ensure viewers were paying attention?
Whats about the numbers and fingers?
I like how he puts up the wrong number of fingers for every number he states.
What about a number finger ?
❤️♥️🧡🙂
I’m confused with the bullet points and his hands numbers
LOL to the last part about never stop applying even if you're in your 3rd interview. I did 3 interviews and then didn't get the job after my 4th interview.
