Theres issues with this amp internally but thankfully there are Mods that can be done and were created by Jason of HeadFirst Amplification Im not completely sure If he is selling the PCB board yet but has designed one so if you go to his UA-cam page you can see what he has come up with for this amp
Before master volume controls and cheap effects pedals were a thing, if you wanted gnarly tone from your toob amp, it was customary to dime all the controls - at least among the backyard rock casualties I cultivated. Sounds to me like this Marshall is best dialed with the same strategy... which makes it a valid entry in the "just like a vintage amp" line-up, methinks.
I have the 20watt combo and I love it. It's GREAT for pedals and I think Marshall did an excelent job at recreating the JTM 45 in a more compact form! I want to get the hand wired re-issue JTM 45 combo next.
Awesome to hear! I need to pick up some more pedals, the origin took a boost quite well and I have a bunch of overdrive pedals but not really any delays or reverbs or anything like that, I’m sure they’d sound great in the loop though 🤘

That thing is decent but I play through a 1977 Mark 2 100 watt super lead Marshall head, halfstack .. Bought it from my brother. He had it "cross channeld w/ series overdrive?""... *like 2 inputs merged?? Half stack original speakers... AMAZING SUSTAIN with that tone so many 60s thru 90s guitarist attained. ... I set the two volume nobs on the right maxed, the the master volume at 1... Try to turn the master to 2 = ear damage loud. I have a deaf chihuahua cuz he loves the power. Shalom from Tehachapi.
