Well, it’s not THAT fast, since it’s not just roll going on. Rudder is the key. All 109s have good and responsive rudder, so all of them can enhance roll with it in a big way. Like, an 109 which uses the rudder can easily outroll a yak which for some reason does not. The only drawback is it demands some practice to apply just enough rudder into a roll and not overuse it so you can use that in controlled manner, either maintaining enough energy at the end of an overshoot or keep your nose on target and not impede your aim with excessive sideslip.
@@level30boss27 Don't swear, it really can! I know, it's not an F-86F-40 in arcade, but the situation isn't that bad. In fact, it's not bad at all. You must be doing something wrong if the aircraft doesn't roll for you. I suspect you either use your 109 at sub-optimal speeds or you engage a rolling game against the planes you shouldn't even considering. Or both. You might be surprised, but the aileron roll rate of G-14 doesn't differ all that much from E-1. If you compare them at _equal speeds_, you'll find out both have pretty much the same roll rates. And if you add some gundops (you really shouldn't but the option exists), all of sudden E-1 rolls better than G-14! The reason why E-1 feels sluggish for you is simple: you are more likely to find yourself at slow speed in E-1 as opposed to G-14, the latter has a hell of a power-plant after all. You see, the ailerons of 109s are not very responsive at slow speeds, they are most efficient around 400km/h IAS, not 220 km/h, there is just not enough airflow around them to change your attitude as fast as you want them to when you are slow. It's true for a lot of planes, but 109 is the best representation of the effect. But guess what is responsive even at slow speed? Your RUDDER! That thing provides sufficient kick to push your 109 though a full 360 degrees barrel at any speed because even if your speed equals zero, you still have a spinning propeller which pushes a lot of air along your fuselage and your tail section, so your rudder always has some airflow to work with as long as your engine is running. I know, it's primarily intended to produce yaw, but it also generates some induced roll, which is a desired effect in this case. And 109s are really good at this: they had to have big rudders due to their gear design and plans for ever more powerful engine upgrades. Another problem could be you engaging some rolling maneuvers against things like I-16 or, god forbid, trying to force an overshoot against a biplane. That's a big no-no! Even if you could roll fast enough to keep up with them, you just can't win there since you don't have pitch-up authority of I-153 or acceleration of I-16. Rolling or not, you are a sitting duck if you are out speed and altitude against them. Ofc they can make a severe mistake too, but you shouldn't really expect that. Expect them to play from their strengths and act accordingly: never dump your energy against them, always stay fast or above and out of their guns, going slow only makes sense if you are clear and above and also can achieve a perfect firing solution as the result of your maneuver, but at this point you should be confident and proficient at what you are doing. You mostly want to stay high, fast and harass them nonstop. That strategy synergies with the advantages of 109 in high speed handling and energy retention. As one wise man said, if you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.
I know im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me.

Hey spit. I recommend flying the G14 A/S, it’s a really fun plane to fly and the difference to the standard G14 is that it has an uprated turbosupercharger.
Martijn it’s called a turbosupercharger because it’s a centrifugal supercharger, which means it has the compressor of a turbo but it is powered by the engines rotation
GrOoVy as a car guy, force induction works likes this. If its powered by the exhaust its a turbo charger and if its belt driven its a supercharger. And dont hit me with the “its a plane not a car” it has a engine that’s powered by gas so its almost just like a car’s engine but upside down.

Let me explain how this man won the fight (in a good way). Bf's and Spitfires have almost the same maneuverability, however spitfires are very big energy eaters compare to Bf's, what you can see in the footage is half dogfighting half boom and zooming, the Bf-109 climbs up and pretends to be an easy pray, the spitfire falls to the trap and follows, but because it has lost all it's energy while dogfighting the Bf-109, it stunts, and the Bf-109 can attack.

I like how you can use the prop pitch on the 109 as a air brake. It's really usefull in a dive or if you want to slow down fast. You put 100% prop pitch without any throttle or you will lose your engine in seconds and just watch your speed bleed
Only do this with the G-2 or later though. If you try it on the earlier models or Fw-190s it will just blow up the engine. Actually, I don't know about the inline-engine Fw-190s or Ta-152s, I'll have to test it on them.
