@@LegendJ0e4 I passed it on 27th Thursday, my driving instructor told me it should only take 1 week . I’m 17 years old. Dont know if it will take longer than that
After watching your videos, I just realized that I would have failed a test in UK. In Canada, we do have roundabouts. We called them traffic circles, but in most areas, the roads are so wide the govt just adds overpasses and underpasses eliminating the need for a traffic circle. So, I hardly diver through a traffic circle. In addition, almost all vehicles in Canada are fully automatic with no clutch paddle. I cannot drive a manual because I have never driven one since I was a kid. I know a few of my buddies drove in England while on vacation. I can't believe they did not end up in an accident. 😛

I passed two days ago first time with 2 minors. It was rush hour test, but the route I took on my test was done the hour before the lesson. I've watched so many videos ty for the help DGN.
Passed my test today with 1 minor which was at the very start first 20 seconds leaving the centre I scraped the tyre on the curb and even thought that I went on it maybe but the examiner said it was a minor at the end. I was so angry and sad the whole test thinking I failed 🙏😂
Glad to say im one of the people who passed and is still watching, passed mine first try 3 days ago. He said I was close to failing because I was too close to parked cars, luckily I was slowing down and that saved me.
@@Lukas_Ivaskevicius It's easier than you might think. I know is cliche to say that but I also thought is gonna be hell and I found it easy in the end. It's only 40 min from when you get in the car, so you drive for about 35 min which goes by so fast you don't even realise. I'm not sure how many hours in total, I started on the 1st of November and I did twice a week 1.5-hour sessions, so 3 hours a week. So about 30 hours in total, more or less, since some sessions were cancelled by my instructor. I would suggest that you do 2 sessions a week since that helped me a lot, I did 1 session a week for 1 month and it was just not working properly, I would learn 1 thing and by the time I would drive again next week I would just mess it up again.
16:32 This is a tricky roundabout. First and second exits are regarded as left turns meaning the left turn lane is available until the second exit has been passed. There are two straight ahead lanes and the left one of those is centre lane on approach. Middle lane is best test choice. As you go round you need to allow space for a lane of traffic on your right throughout and space for left turn traffic until it turns off at the second exit. I think she gets spooked by a big tipper and moves wide of it forgetting to allow space on her right for the second lane of straight ahead traffic. I think the issue is working out what your lane is and allowing others to use their lane.
It's not tricky. If she approaches the roundabout in the middle lane then she should enter in the middle lane, unless road markings show otherwise. Simple.
@@_RDMPTN This roundabout does not go very well, the first mistake we make is that although she knows she should "follow the road ahead" just after 16:34 she passes a bifurcation arrow on the floor. The main straight ahead route is always indicated by the straight part of the arrow and the branch indicates a turn route. This incorrect lane selection gets corrected by the time the roundabout is reached. The tricky bit is not which lane to enter the roundabout in but at what point to move left. This is when the left turners would no longer be present. If you find yourself on a roundabout in the lane next to a large lorry, especially articulated lorries a good plan is to let them pull ahead and stay to the rear of them in the next lane. Any incursion will not then be a problem.
I hope she passed her test... I had a motor bike accident in 2017 that made me very scared of the road and last month I passed but I over analysed myself and judged myself so much too and in a way it made me a better driver.

Hi, I watch loads of your mock tests videos, very good help thanks. This vid and a few others I've seen there's been a few people getting faults and serious faults on roundabouts with very faded or no road markings, do you not think you as instructors in general need to push this matter on to highways England and get them sorted out as people are paying a lot of money to get driving and could fail their tests due to poor road markings on roundabouts mainly, we're learner's and we need road markings at the beginning until we get it like second nature. I've had this problem before myself, but now I'm prepared for bad road markings which is a lot of the time, which shouldn't be the case. Where is the people's hard earned money going when they have to pay road tax? Just curious if H.E have had this issue brought up to them before?
has no one else picked up on the fact she often slips the gear stick into neutral before pulling the hand brake? it’s probably not a big deal but i was always taught hand brake first at all times…
Handbrake first is certainly safer. I was also taught to leave the car in first gear (or reverse, if you're parking on a downward slope). And when in Paris: no gear, no handbrake, but maybe some padding on the bumpers.

@@zinidinerahman4168 I was only in 20 and 30mph areas on my route, it was a new route and never left the town I was in, but most routes include up to at least 50mph and half at the national speed limit, though this varies depending on the test centre. I live in a rural area so must roads with the national speed limit are bendy and they don't expect you to actually go that fast. It's worth researching your areas test routes and looking at how many use high speed roads. I wish you the best of luck and it really is worth practicing on all the test routes so that you know the roads, and remember that it is only a maximum speed, you can go anywhere underneath that within reason (about 10-5mph) if it makes you feel more comfortable

She driver Well but i Think hand Movement on the wheel is awful
Sir, Do International student have to stay in UK for at least 180 days before applying for provisional license?
has no one else picked up on the fact she often slips the gear stick into neutral before pulling the hand brake? it’s probably not a big deal but i was always taught hand brake first at all times…
Handbrake first is certainly safer. I was also taught to leave the car in first gear (or reverse, if you're parking on a downward slope).
And when in Paris: no gear, no handbrake, but maybe some padding on the bumpers.
I've got my test in about 14 hours and man am I nervous lol
Let me know how it goes! I’ve got mine in March so any advice will be greatly appreciated
@@zinidinerahman4168 i passed!! 8 driver faults, mostly from hesitations but it's better to wait than go when it's not safe. Make sure to always check your mirrors before changing speed, changing direction and when carrying out manoeuvres. Good luck!!
@@Layorgenla congratulations! I honestly think I should be fine and might’ve underestimated my ability a bit when I was booking my test date. Congrats once again on passing I hope I can pass first time :)
@@Layorgenla also another question, what was the highest speed limit road you drove on in your driving test? I’ve never driven above 60mph so I don’t feel entirely confident if I could end up driving on a 70mph dual carriageway
I can now finally watched these videos for pure entertainment purposes, I’ve passed my test 31st with 4 minors. Thanks pin
What car are they using?
For anyone who has passed recently, how long did it take for your license to come in the post ? 😃
