Ahh, poor girl. Adequate clearance was my biggest enemy for so long, I always thought we were much further from the parked vehicles. My instructor was so mad after a while, poor man, but it is understandable, when he had to go for the wheel like at least three times in a lesson. It is hard to position. What I have been taught tho - after my instructor was about having a stroke because of it -, where my left leg on the pedal, is where the middle of the road is, approximately. Never look at the vehicles, either on the left or on the right, look ahead, and try to position yourself by "putting" your left leg in the middle of the lane, hypothetically. I hope it helps. Because believe me, I almost broke at least five mirrors when I was a beginner.
In the UK you are sitting on the right side of the car, so you left leg is around at the middle of the car. So the middle of your car, will be on the middle of the lane. This is a general "rule", but of course, if you have to pass cars, or the road narrows, or when you have to go trough extremely narrow roads, obviously it changes slightly. It is not the worst advice from my instructor either, that when you have to pass parked vehicles and there is no oncoming traffic, try to forget about the white staggered line in the middle of the lane. It just means you CAN pass it, if you need it, but keep on the left. And you have to keep a meter from parked cars, so try not to move too much to the right, but do not feel forced to keep too much to left just because of the line.

Because i'm pretty sure if i signalled beforehand it would mislead other drivers, but then Pin is saying you cant move over to the left without looking and signalling, so it sounds like i must wait to move, not do it beforehand. She said she had 24 hours of driving experience, how many hours (as an average) would you recommend we should do? (I know that different people grasp things at different times)
I had 8 lessons and a few trips out with my dad. Passed within the month I took to it like a duck to water. Went on and became an advanced driver. My daughter turned 17 in the July, had 10 lessons over a period of 8 weeks of the summer holidays and I took her out in between. She then passed her test just before the new school year started in the Sept . I don’t think there’s an average. A friend passed her test 10 days after her 17th birthday (that is exceptional) . Others have never mastered the art no matter how many lessons. Just wasn’t for them. Whatever is right for you. Take time to research your instructor with a successful pass rate helps.

Thank you
Hi Pin, when you got out of the car to let Alisha in, was the handbrake off!? Love watching the mock test vids, great stuff.
This video was so helpful!!
Pin with the dirty intro as usual 😂
His reactions be so funny when he has to intervene
Love watching your videos ❤️
You are surely a Braveheart!
At 8:30 you give the Ford Focus the most aggressive looking diffuser ever
she's obviously never stalled before, you'd think the instructor would show her that.
depends on the car whether it has a start button than a key and it could a diesel car unlike pins car it's a petrol
Poor weather is my weakness in driving
i wonder if ultimatedrivingcourse do have a subtitles? i am profoundly deaf, i wont be able to understand or hear anything if you keep talking without subtitles.
Nice to see another video mate. But she had a shocking drive and oh no not another Liverpool surporter lol
I always wonder what car is this that you use for these videos ? Looks nice :)
Hyundai i30
Whats the @ of the girl who gave the ultimate driving course review please i need it for a friend who has questions regarding the course
LOOOOOOL

LMAOOOoo
🤣😩
This brudda 🤣🤣🤣
I would love it if you could put a final total of the faults at the end in the discussion
10:06 lanes here are terrible! caught me out enough times. Especially if you come from the other sides.
Thanks for your driving videos I've crashed 3 times in the past and now I'm proud to say that I drove into a ditch. Keep it up with the videos
Wow the way cars are parked is confusing the crap outta me. I’m from the US and it’s interesting to see how you guys drive on a side where the cars are parked any direction.
When pin sees a learner makes a serious driving fault Pins was like "Ah s*** here we go again."
You mean, yes I can fail them
She said she had 24 hours of driving experience, how many hours (as an average) would you recommend we should do? (I know that different people grasp things at different times)
I thinks its about 45 hours of lesson time and 20 hours of driving in your own car, but of course it can be less for others
Thank GOD my car is automatic! And even though I am enough nervous
My Blood Pressure Shot up by 20 points after seeing this video. I am sure my wife would have given a Heart attack to the Driving Instructor. Great Job Dude ... Chicago roads got a twin in the UK !!!
Nadia, congratulations! Where did you pass your test, please tell us for reference?
I failed my test today because I hit the curb on my parallel park ☹️ he made me go straight back to the centre so I didn’t even get to finish the test.
Luckily I have a second attempt on the 17th - any tips for regathering myself and having the confidence to try again?
I just failed today for speeding 😭 I did 26 on a 20 road.
Don’t live in fear. That’s so harsh!!!
Bethany right! And I only had two minors and that was the only serious fault I got 😒
Don’t live in fear. Same, only three minors ☹️ better luck next time for us both!!
@@dontliveinfear.7640 Every driving teachers are different some can be a dick, some can be honest and some can be too nice and let you off
The replays are hilarious😂
Im just happy i can make the car move
We're so Sorry, Friend.
