Sua (black haired girl from first vid) also threw her match, she purposefully made a mistake so mizi would survive.

@@dreamyboyblue in the ivantill version of my clematis (where ivan has sua's lines and till has mizi's) you hear the part "in the endless darkness, i find you with your scent, even if i sleep in infinity, dont leave my universe" the line distribution is equal with ivan singing the "in the endless darkness" line and till singing the "even if i sleep in infinity" line where as in round 1 mizi takes the entire part indicating sua purposefully sang a line less to dock her points. additionally, early on c!nah (sua's voice actor) said she was asked to sing differently than she normally does in r1, indicating sua sang with less skill than she does normally you can also hear the difference in the way she sings through comparing my clematis with sweet dream and sua's covers, she sings with a higher voice and less clarity in r1 tldr; she sang one line less than she was supposed to (as clarified by ivan and till my clematis) and didnt sing to her full ability (as clarified by c!nah and how different her voice is otherwise)
I don't really think Sua made a mistake to let Mizi survive. I think Sua also wanted to survive, so she tried to tie with Mizi, to see if they both win or both die(the score 87/86 was pretty obvious lol), the moment she saw the score "87/86", she started sweating, which might mean she didn't want to die.

Ivan actually called Sua's sacrifice selfish, because Sua's love was reciprocated and left Mizi with so much pain, while Ivan knew he was barely a footnote to Till, maybe as important to him as Sua was. He believed his own sacrifice wouldn't leave much emotional impact on him. Now, whether that'll be true or if it will spark a kind of retrograded affection in Till remains to be seen, Ivan's been shoved down in Till's priority list so many times in their lives I'm not surprised that "he won't miss me" is the conclusion he came to. Even recent community posts, although cute, have them as kids with Ivan making bids for affection and attention and Till either being dense AF or brushing him off 😭 And Ivan and Mizi were actually somewhat close, too, or at least got along extremely well when Sua wasn't sequestering her away for personal time together. Mizi and Ivan were both just really social, while Sua and Till were very much loners (the former just had attachment issues, and Till, well, he was abused often and troubled kids often become trouble makers). Ivan himself mostly mimicked other social behaviors because iirc, he hadn't come to the garden like the other kids and had never learned to socialize, and would sometimes say things that would piss Till off accidentally because he didn't understand just what he was saying or what it meant; he was learning to socialize via practice while at the garden. They all grew up together, bonded together, fell in love with each other, and then were pitted against each other in a singing death battle for alien entertainment. Meanwhile we've got reigning champ Luka with his medical condition likely competing because he has to stay relevant because otherwise, how else would he pay for the treatment for that chronic condition that even turns his fingers blue? And he may or may not laugh at inappropriate times involuntarily, that's a theory some people have.
@sandramonserrat2816 some of it was comment sections of the og videos where people consolidated info and theories, but you can find a LOT of info by looking at the community posts posted by the creator. They post a lot of mini comics, and people will translate the Korean into English in the comments. The creator also posted little interviews of the characters before the semifinals that got translated, and it was really interesting info, and showed how Ivan was basically projected as the next "Luke" with his skyrocketing popularity. The creator def feeds the fans.
Till is actually pretty popular among the kids ! He's known to be pretty kind to other people ! Also, with the intimacy lists we got, we had the confirmation that Till clearly cared a lot about Ivan, him being second to Mizi with 70%! Till and Ivan were very close !

When ivan kissed him you can see his eyes are completely black when he's putting on his act. You can see light in his eyes when he sees the scores change and when he gives that lighter kiss in almost an apology for being so rough, for forcing tills hand and making a choice for him, and when he knows till will be safe for a little while longer. Even in black sorrow, you can see ivans expression go from actual sorrow to determination at the end because he knew he was going up against till next. I just wanted them to be happy 😭😭😭😭

At least with MiziSua the love was reciprocated, and they both got to share a (horribly morbid but still) wholesome last moment singing to and for each other. The only tragedy was that of their circumstances (the death battle royale) On the other hand, IvanTill is a one sided love, one of the main recipes for doomed romance untop of the death battle royale issue.
i saw ivantill on my fyp ONCE and within like an hour my entire fyp was alien stage and i had cure running on a loop while i cried, it was a transformative experience T.T i have one (1) fear and that's them just throwing mizi and hyuna into the mix since they both should've been in the comp anyways so it ends up being till v mizi and hyuna v luka

also there's no timeskip I don't think - the series is made by two people, with vivinos having a more round style! "episodes" interchangeably are set using one another's styles.

ok, here's some things that might've not been clear 1.those humans have been kidnapped by aliens to be basically used for entertainment and be idols, fighting against each other to death when they grow up. you get points by singing and whoever has more gets to live while the other gets killed. which is why mizi and sua tried to sing together to have the same amount, but mizi got one more point, so sua was shot (I think sua wanted to sacrifice herself so mizi lives) 2.when ivan and till were kids, they almost escaped the insitution, but till let go of ivan's hand because he liked mizi and didn't want to live her behind. 3.I think luka might've killed hyun a's brother when they were children, which is why hyun a hates him. he was also probably raised by the aliens or something, because he doesn't seem to have the concept of empathy or understand people's feelings that well (blushing and smiling after he killed someone, the creepy vibes he has?) 4.mizi was saved by and escaped with hyun a, who is the leader of human rebellion group. it's kind of unclear how hyun a feels about mizi, but they might get together in the future? (that is, if they both work through their trauma which probably won't happen) 4.ivan didn't want to die per say, I think he just saw that till wasn't singing anymore and he wasn't going to let him die like that even if till wanted to, so he pretended to attack him so the aliens step in and kill him instead of till, which they presumably did. I love vivinos but goddamn they're allergic to happy endings and I eat it up every time even though it hurts so bad
If you like Till and Ivan's dynamic, I thoroughly suggest reading 19 Days, there is a main coupling in it that is so much like them (look up Mo Guan Shan x He Tian if you want to see those boys to see if they are similar but their story is just so good)

If you find the images theough their community tab, there are bound to be translations in the comments, but I imagine someone uploaded english versions online somewhere

ok, here's some things that might've not been clear
1.those humans have been kidnapped by aliens to be basically used for entertainment and be idols, fighting against each other to death when they grow up. you get points by singing and whoever has more gets to live while the other gets killed. which is why mizi and sua tried to sing together to have the same amount, but mizi got one more point, so sua was shot (I think sua wanted to sacrifice herself so mizi lives)
2.when ivan and till were kids, they almost escaped the insitution, but till let go of ivan's hand because he liked mizi and didn't want to live her behind.
3.I think luka might've killed hyun a's brother when they were children, which is why hyun a hates him. he was also probably raised by the aliens or something, because he doesn't seem to have the concept of empathy or understand people's feelings that well (blushing and smiling after he killed someone, the creepy vibes he has?)
4.mizi was saved by and escaped with hyun a, who is the leader of human rebellion group. it's kind of unclear how hyun a feels about mizi, but they might get together in the future? (that is, if they both work through their trauma which probably won't happen)
4.ivan didn't want to die per say, I think he just saw that till wasn't singing anymore and he wasn't going to let him die like that even if till wanted to, so he pretended to attack him so the aliens step in and kill him instead of till, which they presumably did.
I love vivinos but goddamn they're allergic to happy endings and I eat it up every time even though it hurts so bad
I think Ivan also choked Till as much as he could so the aliens wouldn’t force him to sing with his throat injured

If you like Till and Ivan's dynamic, I thoroughly suggest reading 19 Days, there is a main coupling in it that is so much like them (look up Mo Guan Shan x He Tian if you want to see those boys to see if they are similar but their story is just so good)
