Maybe ivan fell in love with till so much because he wanted the same love and devotion he had for mizi. True love which is pure and natural. Love which creates. While his is dark and codependent. He doesn’t love himself and just wants someone to truly love him for who he is… its like he never expected anyone to love him so he was happy to die for till, because he doesn’t see a reason to live without him. He doesn’t have a will to live like Till has. Till is very bright and lively, with a strong will to live because of his love for mizi, when Ivan while being the best singer, wanted by aliens, being treated well, he still cannot have a taste for life. This is what Ivan craves, Till makes Ivan want to continue on, he inspires him to live. I feel for Ivan, all my love is “black sorrow” not having anything in life besides wanting to love someone. Wanting to feel a taste for life. Devoting everything to the person i love but in the end i must see them go away and pretend like there is still some meaning for me when im alone… Even though im not poor, my parents love me and i have friends, its the love that gives me a will to live, it is what inspires me and makes me alive…
