I would say it's a good box to start the army but I sucks to see that they put our best points per dollar models on it and left out the sisters now that two of 4 horrible detachments use them, still a good box because gives you the big and flashy golden boys, still a shame to see the current state of 10th
This is a much better box than I had been fearing. I will undoubtedly be picking up a copy further down the line. But first I'm going to track down one of the last ones to round out the Sisters portion of my army.
So I would like to know as a new Warhammer player if I was going to get the Custodes combat patrol should I get this one with the 14 minis or the I guess it's an older one with the 18 minis. If they are priced the same? Also a store near me has the older one for sale 20% off if that changes the math at all. What is the better value/army?
I´m thinking about picking up the current adeptas sororitas combat patrol, but I worry that if I wait for the new one this summer, it could be worst (less models and no many different squads). I started in 10th edition with the leviathan box and the space marines combat patrol from 9th edition was better than 10th edition.
I don't think it is "worth" to buy anything custodes till the updated codex, FW rules and post release faq/errata. Maybe GW can make custodes okeyish , but if they don't then the next 6-9 mon ths are not going to be nice, and buying in to not fun is not a good idea. Also for existing players after a year of 10th, l don't think there are any of those who need guard or wardens. Maybe (strong maybe) people don't have 18 allarus to max out their terminators . But then it is just better to buy them in single boxes. Plus there is going to be a TON of custodes on the second hand market.
Do you think this is a good Combat Patrol, and will you be picking up a copy?!

Considering 2 of these can get you to 2k points, with a bad build but still, I am absolutely getting this
