Spending fam time, so mic is a lil different! The Helldivers 2 Community Just Did the Impossible (Tien Kwan) Greetings, fellow democracy enjoyers It’s me, the original Evan, who in no way shape or form was execut- I mean, re-educated because of traitorous beliefs. If you suggest otherwise, it might be considered treason. That’s the spirit, Divers - don’t question anything. Why would you, when there’s a war to fight! Speaking of war, the tides of this conflict have shifted, and not necessarily in our favour. Somehow, the godless Terminids and Automatons have neutered our precious stratagems and forced us to find alternative methods of crushing exoskeletons and spilling oil. Nah, in all seriousness, a patch for Helldivers 2 was released recently, and it changed a whole bunch of stuff. On top of that, a really exciting new gameplay element is coming to the game, and the way in which Arrowhead have decided to roll it out is nothing short of genius. That’s right, I’m talking about the mechs which have begun to appear in lobbies within the game. In this video, I’m gonna discuss the campaign to liberate Tien Kwan, the source of the community’s latest toy, and how getting the playerbase to work together for rewards is such a good idea. I’ll also cover the new meta, explain why some options aren’t quite as useful anymore (or, in the railgun’s case, completely overpowered), yet also explore the potential alternatives that you might want to be using now that things have changed a bit. So, without further ado, let’s get right into it. This is how the Helldivers community unlocked mechs and guaranteed swifter victories on all fronts of the Galactic War!

We are kicking asses right now. Which had me worry that Joel might balance thinghs in the bot front. We are probably gonna defeat the terminds soon. But I bet since we failed the first campaign on bot side. They might have got something up their sleeves.
@@robfusit seems like we’re getting a third threat soon (the Illuminate) so that might balance things out. There’s room enough on the galactic map for a third and fourth threat anyway, and god knows there are enough players too.
@@robfus Thinking about the lore behind the terminds, I don't think we defeat them that fast that soon. Super Earth Gouverment wants their space oil, so beating them for good or keeping them out of the closer systems would deny them a fast and massive solution for oil. I think the towers won't keep the terminds away, but will make them even stronger / more in mass

@@fynnsalabim6896 yeah but you also have to consider that the governament do mot wamt the bugs to get to strong. The bugs will adapts for sure. Thats their thing. But surely for few weeks the bug front is secured. Once the planets are safe again they are going back to the farms
As a Destiny player coming off of the same yearly event going on right now for the 4th time with no changes (Guardian Games) I actually am going to no hesitation, no review no NOTHING go and buy helldivers right this very moment and without even playing you should too. That’s how badly we need good community events right now 😅

Ever since my friends and I got our Mechs, anytime we run out of ammo of our mechs and/or no longer need them, we always make sure to "Scuttle" the suit before we move on whether it be with a grenade or some other explosive. That way the abandoned suit tech doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Especially when we are in Bot Territory. We know it's not an actual mechanic but it's our way to further immerse ourselves into the game XD
They don’t use them. For now…..

They need to add an upgrade that lets us detonate our mechs.

You could also find random mechs just lying around on Tien Kwan but it was very rare.
You see different versions of the mechs ones with a smaller body but bigger guns or dual mini gun mechs
it is a dual autocannon mech, very excited for it
I got the mechs as soon as I could afford the unlock for them, and call them in for newer players so they can have a taste of the “toys” they can unlock

I did this with a random cadet and he had a blast with it. We were defending a planet cause it was getting attacked by the bugs. They had a blast

Bungie could learn a thing or two
They won’t. Recent news came out confirming that Bungies DEI team officially attempting to turn away players that are anti lgbt. Meaning they’ll actively go out of there way to rather let their game die than put an end to DEI. I can assure you their marketing department thinks the same thing about poor players who aren’t willing to spend money. They don’t want the normal gamers. I got massive respect for arrowhead standing their ground against creative restriction, money hunger, and politics.

The logical next step would be if holding certain planets had effects on different stratagems. In the case of Tien Kwan, holding the planet should be what allows Helldivers to spawn 2 mechs per dive. If Super Earth loses control, the stratagem should automatically be reduced to 1 Mech Spawn per dive, as supply of new Mechs is drastically reduced. Another planet could be the primary hub for Railcannon ammo, increasing the cooldown of the Railcannon strike if lost, etc. If they implemented a system like that, this game would be even more fire.
That is a great idea. You can have community vote on which area to work on for the week. Sometime having to give up areas in order to protect or free other planets/systems.

My question is, both for the mech order, as well as any other future context orders, what would've happened should we have failed? Do you think the automations would've gotten a temporary buff, a new enemy type... The mechs themselves?
... I hope we never have to find out.
The automatons already have mechs, but likely the mech suit roll out would've been different. No free mechs for everyone, more limited use, etc.
I just last night tried malevelon creek on extreme, now i understand the memes. It is literally ptsd inducing.

The best part about this love service model is that they can and will add future stuff randomly for players to speculate. We got random mechs in automaton missions for a while before the actual event to unlock them, so players would start talking about it. We're seeing the same with new bug types getting hints while we work on apparently "delete" them with the termicide mission. Add the free stratagems we are getting as mentioned and you got a winning formula!
Honestly, as a fanfic writer, I wouldn't be surprised if the termicide missions were actually pointless. The whole 'this new plan will ensure the (insert enemy here) will never return/be permanently defeated' trope is blatantly obvious. Especially since I've used it myself in my own fanfics before.

I think this video has really great production quality! This was very enjoyable to watch, I just wish this video was able to come out before we completed a whole other major order. This video is coming out the day after we liberated the termicide towers!

It would be cool if there was an update that pulled a “bad batch” and allowed a team of renegade hell divers to sabotage missions because they realize that the rulers of super earth are corrupt. (Let the meme responses commence).
If we failed the major order they already told us what would of happened. We wouldn't of received our mechs as early as we did. We probably would of had to wait until summer.

The Expendable Anti-Tank also feels a lot better now. Headshotting Chargers and Bile Titans is very nice. And I think they reduced the cooldown? Or was it always that short?

It’s really good since it’s fast cooldown means you can always have 2 or more rockets for the team but only taking 1 stratagem slot from someone
as someone who was using EAT before the update (hadn't progressed enough to unlock other stuff) I love it so much

in the first game just one mech was free, other 2 were dlcs
i used the flame thrower to try it out and up to difficulty 6 its good it take 1 full tank of gas to take out a charger but on 7 its to chaotic and 1 tank just isn't enough if ur gonna take out a charger go for expendable anti tank for recoilless to the face its just faster (if you do use expendable have 2 players dedicated to carrying them around as on 7+ you can get hit with multiple chargers also 1 stratagem of expendable should be enough for both) happy to be of assistance
When you get up to 8/9 you possibly want 2 people with the strategem and working as a team to keep themselves supplied in EATs, also possibly using the deployment Hellpods as additional projectiles alongside the stun grenades since they have a fast call in time and refresh :D

Idk, major problem with the update was the enemy spawn rate getting massively increased, the Railgun not so much, it still packs a punch if u charge it to alsmot blowing up, problem is currently its one of the worst stratagems, but no because of the nerf itself, but mostly cos theres a hunter army right beside you, everytime you try to charge it up
